The video stated that there are 14.9 million unemployed now at at rate of 9.6%, but that number is excluding the number of people who quit looking or took part-time work. Making the number of unemployed 26.2 million, not 26% unemployed. It would actually be closer to 17% unemployed. I am on your side here. The real truth of the matter is how can they sit here and tell us that there is job growth when it went from 9.7% last year when she announced the numbers; to the latest unemployment rate at 9.6%!? on top of that the democrats and the Obama administration changed the way that measured unemployment when he got in office and the numbers kept getting worse. They decided they were going to start measuring unemployment by comparing growth against the month before and threw out all of the previous unemployment numbers. Making their whole way of showing unemployment numbers false anyhow. It allowed them to lie and cheat the true unemployment numbers as a continuum as they should have continued to have been counted. Then there never would have been any fake numbers to try to make us believe there was less unemployment happening! Most of the job growth is from gov’t unsustainable jobs anyhow!
Now Obama is going to spend 50 billion dollars for rebuilding our infrastructure on roads and railways. How is that not stimulus spending to achieve job growth? What a joke, the sooner this clown is out of office the better America will be! This president went to what school? Havard and Columbia? How could he have gone there? Isn’t that school for smart people? However, he is dumb as bricks!

I’m beginning to think I went into the wrong field. Should have been a Senator. Get elected…don’t care what the People want once youre elected, excellent health benefits, perks, travel, expenses, beautiful office spaces, retirement benefits…. and the ability to control laws that will make you even richer!
Find it interesting that Newsweek will definitely be “fair and balanced” now that it has a new owner who will have no political agendas….oh, wait, whose husband is that???? And to think they all complain about Glenn’s income!!!! Public disclosure of ALL SENATORS, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, JUDGES, PRESIDENTS (AND CZARS) should be required to be publicized on a yearly basis for the general public to know…. It puts a different perspective on things!

Now all the “Government Stupid” is doing is passing individual BILLS instead of another 875 billion Bill that was supposed to fix our crumbling Economy. Maybe they should get the video out of the Dog and Pony show of the bridge in Missouri the “Government Stupid” used as soon as the SPENDULUS BILL was passed.Are these NEW infrastructure job sites going to use the old signs or are new signs advertising them going to be made? I am beyond getting angry anymore now I think it is a FREAKING COMEDY show!!!!

Look at the chart that shows the number of EMPLOYED Americans in Feb. 2009. Then look at the number of EMPLOYED Americans in August 2010. You will see a 3.8 million difference. However, the Socialist Progressive Democrats don’t expect people to research for themselves. Their lies are exposed by the numbers.

For a VERY long time people in government must feel that if they are not doing anything at all they are doing something wrong. Today, all of their actions have led to more trouble instead of help and arrogance is what stops them from admitting they’re wrong. This is a classic example.

The problem is that plan failed. They never intended to allow unemployed Americans to stay in the jobs they wanted.

He says, the republicans drove the economy into the ditch and they finally got the car out. When you want to go forward, you put the car in “D” for drive but the republicans want to put it in “R”…. Well, yes we do…. What is the first thing you do when you are going forward and the car starts to sink and can’t go forward anymore (just like our economy is currently doing)? You don’t accelerate and burn off all of your gas and tire tread, you put your foot on the brake and put the damn car in “R” to back out of the mess. It’s time we put the car back in “R” before we sink any further.

The unemployment figures do not take into account any of the self employed, seasonally employed, or small business owners that have been forced to close their doors (due to the nature of this economy). It doesnt even count those that no longer qualify for benefits. THESE NUMBERS ONLY COUNT THOSE THAT QUALIFY TO RECIEVE BENEFITS AT THE PRESENT TIME.
