Laura Ingraham Reveals Witnessing TSA Pat Down of Apparent Double Amputee Veteran

It seems every day there is some new horror story from the TSA, whether it’s Geraldo Rivera claiming he has been “manually raped,” or a heartbreaking figure of a woman sobbing alone after an invasive pat-down.

And now, conservative radio host Laura Ingraham is saying she saw a disabled veteran — who was missing both legs and had terrible scars along his arms — not treated rudely, necessarily, but not at all treated with the dignity deserving of a wounded veteran in a country he sacrificed so much for.

“I think we need to treat these men and women differently at TSA,” she said. “We need to give them a fast pass through this system and not, as the Homeland Security Department said a few years ago, brand them as potential threats to the United States, returning veterans.  Remember that edict from Janet Napolitano.”

Watch her describe the incident on Fox and Friends, via Mediaite:

Ingraham says she was actually alerted to the event by her children, with whom she was traveling.

“My daughter actually noticed there was an Afghan war veteran … he had a cap on that said ‘Afghanistan War’ and he was paraplegic — he had lost his legs and had terrible shrapnel wounds on both arms, you could see the deep scars on both arms — and he was going through screening,” she began.  ”Well, he obviously can’t go through the X-Ray machine, he can’t walk, get out of his chair.  They brought him through to the secondary screening area, but it was for everybody to see.”

She described how the man’s family was waiting for him, and concluded: “He had clearly been through so much … and they’re waiting for him, and they’re lifting him up, and looking under his torso, and something about that just kicked me in the gut and I felt like I had to share it with people.”

    9/11 was an inside job you can tell by how the towers fell it was controlled demolition obviously and now some sick minded psychopath corporations and banks used it to make money and oppress the normal person and the TSA employees are mostly ghetto thugs. we need to get rid of the TSA and police state and release the truth about 9/11 and other false flag attacks and get those neo cons prosecuted and put behind bars.

      As long as there is a TSA, they must be infallible.The minute you let down your standards you are vulnerable for a Trojan horse attack.

      The real question is; do we need to constantly live in fear and pay for all this security year after year? If we went back to an affordable pre-911 Gummint there would be no TSA issues here.

      If you really believe that the WTC was brought down by a controlled demolition you are a F*@king idiot. I have seen and done my fare share of controlled…and uncontrolled demolitions and that was not one of them. The Government can’t even balence its own freaking check book. If you think that that a system that fails at everything they do can somehow pull off the worst attack on a Continental US city and then conduct the most perfect cover up in history then you just beyond hope. Turn off the computer, take off the tin foil hat, put down the joint and go outside and get some fresh air….Yes the TSA are all criminals. This is a perfect example of what will spark violence. While the Free men of America have become lazy in the defense of freedom at home, there is only so much that they will take. Treating someone that has sacrificed this much like a terrorist is unacceptable.

      @ IDCONSERVATIVE AS Ben Franklin once said common sense is not so common. The whole TSA job is horrible. Either you have nothing to do or are swamp with someone looking over your shoulder all the time. The whole system should be revamped and streamed lined. You have to profile, and as long as we are going to pretend that the enemy is not islam we can never think of wining. ya Keep stopping those litlle old ladies and US Veterans that’s the threat.       Yea, if they wanted really trained officers, they’d have to pay them more, or get more intelligent people. That would mean they couldn’t give jobs to regular government employees, they’d actually have to use intelligent people.

    Try to reason with a TSA agent, an IRS agent, a postal worker, DMV or Customs agent… common sense goes out the window. This is how ObamaCare is going to be administered….no discussion… no common sense… We will have no voice. We’ll be powerless…. Don’t kid yourselves, as regards our health care, we will be at the mercy of these types of gov’t workers.

    I bet the guy with the turbin and beard sailed right by unmolested. I saw McCain at the ariport he was going through security and they pulled Cindy McCain out of the line to do a pat down what a scham. The TSA is another creation of the Bush adminstration like DHS both very unnesscary bloated government agencies. TSA “thousands standing around” typical government employee all they need is a shovel to lean up against.

    I have been told by my bosss that i will soon be flying to Ohio. I told him that I would NRVER be patted down and I would never be put through a scanner. I told him to habe bail money and a car to pick me up…..Screw these jackbooted thugs. They will NEVER take my 4th ammendment rights!

    Stand up cowards! Refuse these illegal searches in mass. hey cannot put us all in jail! Stand up. Get a backbone!

    This story is disgusting,here we have a veteran blown to hell with lost limbs and he‘s degraded by the same government that says they’re just ‘protecting’ us. I say BS to he creation of this unconstitutional department and the brown shirts that violate our fourth amendment right every day they exist.

      It isn’t an all or nothing proposition,if the security is run by the private sector it would be more efficient.
      The government has no business in airline or airport security because the TSA is an unconstitutional department and should be abolished.

      Airlines have every incentive to not have their planes taken over and used as weapons. If it werent for government rules, there would be multiple weapons in the cockpit.

      If you felt too scared to fly on the private airline – you could book a ticket on the government airline (for 3 times the price, assuming the plane doesnt burst into flames in mid-air).

    no, TSA should be removed completely and airline security handled by airlines, or private services, optimally by former Israeli Mossad.

    Those TSA guys? Sentenced to 30 minutes in the nearest Marine barracks. Even 5 min, will do.

    The people with the towels on their heads, wearing bathrobes don’t get the pat-downs.
    I’ve yet to find a story or photo on the internet, of a Muslim being molested by the TSA.

    When we start taking flying as seriously as our ancestors took tea, this will stop. If you think this is wrong, stay home. Don’t tell me you have to fly for work. That means you put your job and your wallet over your country. Its high time we brought our manufacturing home from Asia anyway. When companies can no longer find employees willing to fly, and the airlines are going bankrupt because they have no fares, this will change. Until then, its a tempest in a tea pot.

    I can’t play the segment so these questions may have been answered. Where was the outrage? Didn’t anyone in the security line say or do anything? Why didn’t Ingram intervene? Was catching her flight more important than the treatment of this veteran? Jesus weeps.

      Sorry…but, she was traveling with her daughters and no way in hades would I (as a Mom) take the chance of being singled out when I have my kids with me and subject them to the possible sexual assault that the TSA seems to get their jolly’s on with kids! She is doing the right thing in bringing it to the public as an FYI. If you have an active duty or retiree military ID you have gone through “screening”…your family has gone through “screening”. Yes, there are active duty nutjobs like the guy from Ft. Hood, but that is because he was Muslim and people are scared to stand up against a Muslim! It’s disgraceful how our military and political leaders are treated by TSA…it’a also disgusting that we as normal, red-blooded American’s with a valid ID and credentials are treated worse than the common criminal!

    What happens when young men and women stop enlisting to fight our Wars because they see how much they are being used and abused? Its the unintended consequences of our mission against terrorism, we treat everyone equally as a possible terrorist as nobody can be expected to be an actual patriot, all persons are a threat to the government and since we are a multi-culture nations, we must ensure that even those who do not resemble a terrorist like your grandmother from Ireland, get searched. This is an absolute disgusting display of our own governments abuse of power….to search someone clearly a War veteran is beyond reasoning.

    For TSA employees I know it’s just a job, but if they all up and left maybe the government would allow it to be privatized or run by the airports…Alas, government wages and benefits are too good to pass up…Kind of like *horing yourself out.
