Lerner’s Plan in Action? 400 Protesters Converge on JP Morgan Shareholders Mtg

Earlier this spring we exposed SEIU veteran leader Stephen Lerner and his plan to bring down the U.S. economy through an economic hit-job on JP Morgan Chase (see here, here, and here). That plan was supposed to start this summer. And today, it may have just kicked off.

According to reports, protesters have converged on JP Morgan Chase’s annual shareholders meeting in Columbus, OH. At least one person was arrested handcuffed as shareholders within the meeting sympathetic to the protesters’ cause invoked religion to rail against Chase leaders. From the AP:

Shareholders trying to get into JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s annual meeting held Tuesday in this midwestern city were greeted by heavy security and over 400 protesters shouting slogans outside every entrance.

At least one person was handcuffed after a group of about 400 protestors marched up Chase‘s property and placed a sign on a raft floating in a pond in the bank’s premises. The sign read: “Foreclosed: Chase sinks our economy.”

Police had each entrance blocked ahead of the meeting, as protesters gathered in the rain and cold chanting slogans such as “Make Banks Pay” and carried signs that said: “Chase gets rich, we lose homes, jobs, services.” At least 20 police cruisers circled the building.

Inside, several shareholders spoke out against the bank’s handling of mortgage foreclosures.

“As a person of faith, my God believes you shouldn’t take advantage of people when they are down,” said Dawn Dannenbring of the community group Illinois People’s Action, addressing CEO Jamie Dimon. “Do you believe in the same God I believe in?”

Dimon answered: “That’s a hard one to answer.”

After another question on foreclosures, Dimon said: “We are doing everything we can to keep people in their homes that should stay in their homes.”

Chase, headquartered in New York, is holding its annual meeting in Columbus for the first time. Along with all the major banks in the country, Chase has been criticized for its handling of mortgage foreclosures.

Local station WSYX-TV reports from the scene, where at least one congressman joined in the event:

According to the news station, the protesters were from the group National People’s Action. That group’s website confirms it was in fact there as part of its “Showdown in America” campaign against big banks.

“Hundreds of homeowners, clergy, and workers have gathered in Columbus, Ohio to directly confront J.P. Morgan Chase at their annual shareholder meeting and deliver a message that it‘s time to ’Make Wall Street Pay,’” the group says on its website. It also includes plenty of pictures to chronicle its action:

Lerner’s Plan in Action? 400 Protesters Converge on JP Morgan Shareholders Mtg

Lerner’s Plan in Action? 400 Protesters Converge on JP Morgan Shareholders Mtg

But according to the AP, the day’s events were organized by a group called The New Bottom Line. Would you be surprised to know that that group “is a national campaign fueled by a coalition of community organizations, congregations, labor unions, and individuals working together to build a movement that challenges established big bank interests on behalf of struggling and middle-class communities.” [Emphasis added]

On its website, the group boasts about crossing the bank’s “moat” today:

The crazy thing: the meeting is being held at the JP Morgan Chase McCoy Center is the second largest flat office building in the nation.  Only the Pentagon is larger.  And the building is surrounded by a moat!  So how do these homeowners, clergy members, unions members and more, cross the moat? They build a bridge!

Here’s the picture that accompanies the post:

Lerner’s Plan in Action? 400 Protesters Converge on JP Morgan Shareholders Mtg

And guess who The New Bottom Line links to for more pictures and references in its about section? If you said National People’s Action, you’re right.

All very interesting, isn’t it?

God knew how the world was that is why we are told to neither borrow or lend money!!

Pr 22:7 ¶ The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. {the lender: Heb. the man that lendeth} Pr 18:23 ¶ The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.

You should also read Mark 12. The parable of the tenants. It talks about how a land owner leased out his land to some people and when he sent a servant to get what they owed him, the people killed him. So he sent his son, and they killed him too. So the land owned went and killed the people and leased it to someone that he could trust.

While it is better not to borrow money, not everyone can do it. But when you do borrow you are bound to repay what you borrowed or face the consequences. You shall not steal.

If we had a President and DOJ that operated on the rule of law Lerner would have been in custody to prevent this from happening. Basically the corruption of Obama’s administration is the cause of this. The Marxist have planted their flag and, like this protest, are intent on building their Maxist nation on the rubble they’ve made of our country.

Never buy anything you don’t have the money for–end of story! The banks are not at fault for loaning the money. If the people couldn‘t or wouldn’t look into the mathematics of a mortgage this is their fault.

Now these people come out of the woodwork and the forest too for that matter! This smells like the ‘top down, bottom up and inside out’ theory Glenn talked about. Not falling for these hired trolls.

Was Lerner there? He’s the one putting those people up to this stuff. Did he stand toe to toe and shoulder to shoulder with the protesters or did he just play them for suckers? It’s the “We” when it’s talk but “Those” or “They” when it comes to action. It’s a shame that those who would do this action believe they are standing “with” Lerner. Poor saps.

The only reason these people get recognition, is because the general public along with the Progressive media promote their bull s–t. The only reason homes are in forclosure, is either due to people buying homes they knew they couldn’t afford, which led to those buying homes they COULD afford being underwater and walking away from their obligation of fulfilling their end of the contract with lenders. It’s easy to blame someone else for your stupidity. As a result you will be used a pawn in a game, in which the aveage person is in way over his or her head. Causing a collapse of

Go away, I don’t want you representing me. Banks don’t take advantage of people by giving them loans. People are supposed to do their own homework to make sure they can afford a mortgage. If they are so stupid as to obtain a mortgage they aren’t able to pay, then they deserve what they get.
The government, also, should not be subsidizing sub-prime loans, either.

There’s plenty of blame to throw in every direction. Here’s an example:

My daughter works part-time, and is trying to buy a house with her fiance’. Our bank prequalified her to spend a certain amount.

The RE broker gets her excited about a house that is about 20% more than that, and tells her she can probably get an FHA loan for that higer amount if she talks to someone he knows instead of borrowing from our bank.

The referenced lender says she can indeed borrow more under the FHA program if she can get her employer to “adjust” her income by projecting an increase in her weekly hours.

Fortunately, she is thinking critically, and realizes that the higher payments would unduly burden them, and possibly jeopardize their ability to pay off the house.

When buyers knowingly look the other way while taking out such loans, they are just as culpable as the RE Brokers and the Loan Brokers. Sometimes, however, they may truly be unsuspecting.

More importantly, this damned mess would not exist, were it not for the Clinton Administration pushing “The Free American Dream” so hard in the 90′s. Of course, the Democrats would sooner die than admit that.

This is the culmination of a subversive movement that began in the 1970s to kill Capitalism in America. And, I can tell you EXACTLY when it “hatched”. It was on the day the Congress created the Dept of Education. Without multiple generations of useful idiots to carry the signs, we couldn’t possibly be where we are. I wonder why they aren‘t camped out on Barney Franks and Chris Dodd’s front lawns 24/7. They are the ones who brought down the housing market with their lack of over sight and their assurance that Fannie and Freddie were wonderful. Class action lawsuit against them as they come out of office (starting with Chris Dodd) might make them think twice before they scam the public.

      This website is ridiculous.

This is like the 5th time my comments have been censored when criticizing JP Morgan and the Federal Reserve System which facilitates their systematic fleecing of America through nearly zero-interest loans, deliberately obfuscatory language, and exploding interest.

This is a result of Mary K. Bush, the creator of this rip-off, redistributing our wealth to foreign countries through frontmen who purchase mortgage-backed securities, on behalf of the last 3 Presidents and the Federal Reserve, through the IMF and World Bank.

Look how this arrogant crook boasts about robbing us blind…

Remember that man who was recently arrested for disrupting business while reading the Bible out loud? Why doesn’t the govt go after these protesters the same way? They are being obviously disruptive, yet no one appears willing to stop them.

I also have trouble placing the blame for the foreclosures solely on JP Morgan. The govt practically blackmailed them into giving the loans. Also, no one forced those people to apply for the loans (even though they knew they could never afford to make regular loan payments). Greed and entitlement, not common sense, led them down the road of bankrupcy.

Arrest all the protesters! People who couldn‘t afford a mortgage shouldn’t have gotten one. Period. How about contract law. Contracts are even addressed in the constitution. Banks lend money on the good faith of the people they are lending to. The banks have lost in this one too. How come they get all the blame. How about give the blame to the government with their everyone deserves a home rhetoric? They started this with Fannie and Freddie saying do it we will pick up the loans. Gee when the government gets involved things work out so well. They are still giving those loans to people who still shouldn’t get them. Time to break the backs of all the unions and get rid of this administration too!! These foreclosed homes belong to the banks period. These protesters have no character, pride or conscience. They just want something for nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves.

If you do your homework you will understand that the persons protesting are not to blamed, well maybe somewhat but my post is not about them. The people that should be put behind bars are members of the Federal Reserve. They are the ones who create money out of nothing for Congress and lead you to believe they are innocent of any economic troubles it the country, an example of this are the boom and busts that are created to steal the money from the middle class.
Educate yourself and read the tell all book, “THE CREATURE from JEKYLL ISLAND, A Second Look at the Federal Reserve” by G Edward Griffin. Here is a quote from the book, “We must not forget, however, that one of the reasons the Fed was created in the first place was to make it possible for Congress to spend without the public knowing it was being taxed.” (pg. 204)
Also explained is the Fabian Society known today as the Council on Foreign Relations, IMF, The World Bank, The operation of the Federal Reserve and how it makes and distributes money from notes to IOU’s to dollars with nothing backing it (fiat money).
Remember also to look up persons running for office that might belong to these organizations whose only interest is GLOBAL GOVERNACE.

None of you REALLY get IT…this is ALL straight from Alynski‘s playbood ’Rules for Radicals’. It is a takedown from the INSIDE!! The Jimmy Carter signed CRA 1977 started the housing bubble, the illegal Fed prints DEBT, not money and our Gov’t is as corrupt as they come. Big banks were FORCED to make NINJA loans by the Govt (read CRA 1977) AND Unions, and special interest groups, who would picket their locations to shut them down if they did not HAND OUT mortgages. All part of the REAL plan to bankrupts America. They were successful, and not only THAT, they PIT each of us against each other nicely. The banks took out all of those CDO’s and other instruments as a counter balance to the bad loans they knowingly made and cashed in, also they got bailouts – so even the banking sector is corrupt – the FIGHT is what now people? What are you fighting for? Who are you going to fight against – EACH OTHER – that is the playbook. The global elites WANT us to FIGHT each other to weaken us to the point where they can finally put America to sleep FOREVER! That my friends is the last stand – Americans killing Americans, is THIS WHAT YOU WANT? The fraud perpetrated is by elitists against free America, and they have taken our economy, which is our number one protection, and trashed it. God help us all, because very soon, the FIGHTING will start, and you will have NO IDEA who the enemy really is…very sad my friends, I just hope we wake up soon. The unions are the #1 enemy n

I understand what’s going on perfectly.

All you have to do is read this “biography” and it spills the beans on this entire plot by MARY K BUSH and the presidents she worked for to REDISTRIBUTE OUR WEALTH TO FOREIGN NATIONS by preying on the poorest amongst us, backing exploding mortgages with FHA, only to bundle and sell the FEDERALLY BACKED DEBT to foreigners acting as front men for foreign nations.

She has served three US Presidents — as the US Government’s representative on the IMF Board, head of the Federal Home Loan Bank System and board member of Sally Mae. President Bush appointed her to The HELP Commission whose goal is to “improve the effectiveness of US financial flows to other nations”. Ms. Bush CREATED and was head of the International Finance Department at FANNIE MAE. Here, she LED THE CREATION of ground-breaking mortgage-backed securities financings.

At the IMF, she led the reform to incorporate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in IMF accounting for past due loans.

She also spearheaded the creation of the Structural Adjustment Facility that has CHANNELLED SEVERAL BILLION DOLLARS from the IMF and World Bank to countries that enact free market, business-friendly reforms (to countries that will allow themselves to be lent into debt with our fiat currency, UNLIKE LIBYA WHO HAS THEIR OWN BANK).
