I’ve heard him respond this way to many different interviews. Maybe it means to just give him a platform to speak, smile, and quietly accept his responses. Even if an interviewer can contradict him with facts. No No….just let me finish feeding my people what I want them to believe.
By the way. How can anyone think these questions were tough? There was no question in this interview that I heard that was hard or tough. How about questions like the following:
1.) Mr. President, am I correct in my understanding that you favor state capitalism (similar to China) instead of the capitalist system of the United States. Why?
2.) Mr. President, do you dislike the current U.S. economic system that is currently in place? Why or Why Not? What would a new economic system look like? How would it operate? How would the American people have control of a new economic system? What would a collapse of our current economic system look like? Can you explain the benefits of a NEW WORLD ORDER to the American people? What are the drawbacks to a system such as this? Who is ultimately accountable in this system? Finally, it appears as if many of your supporters are working to bring about this new system without the assent of the American people or their representatives in Congress. How do you feel about this framework being developed behind the American people’s back? Would you encourage a vote on such a big issue as reforming the U.S. economic system?

I am a die hard daily reader of The Blaze, and I truly mean well in sharing with you my train of thought on viewing the video: …interesting tone of voice and facial expressions of the Pres., then again, if The Blaze is able to trick us into reading embeded advertising teasers as they are doing with the “sponsored links,” They are probably able to edit video to their liking?
The presentation of your story + link(embedded to look like a continuation of the story) gives undue credence to the sponsored link. Be careful because it works both ways– The Blaze’s willingness to use tricks on the reader cheapens the site.

I don’t accuse The Blaze of editing videos. I am just saying that if they are willing to use visual tricks which count on our trust that whatever is written as though it were part of the story actually IS part of the story, well what other tricks might they be willing to justify? I really enjoy this site, but I think the treatment of the sponsored links is a sleazy advertising trick which could subtly make some readers subconsciously “link” to skepticism.

The connotation is that he lost his temper or became impassioned, which is did not do. He did stutter, which he does and which we all do at one time or another, don’t we? But ‘lose his cool’? No, I would say that the headline is misleading and yellows the story.

As for all of you who think this shows that Obama doesn’t want to be questioned, it does not mean that at all. In case you did not realize, he sat down for an interview with this reporter, showing that he is willing to be questioned. Asking the reporter to not interrupt him and let him finish his answers is not saying that he can’t be questioned, he’s just telling the reporter to let him finish his answer before he asks the next question.
It’s also quite ironic that all of you are jumping on this so quickly, considering your idols Beck and Palin won’t talk to anyone that might challenge their beliefs. When was the last time Beck had a guest on his show that didn’t agree with him? When was the last time Palin did an interview not on Fox News? The only person that mildly challenges her is O’Reilly and you can definitely see the anger in her face after he does so.
So really, what all of you are saying here about Obama, although it is not true, applies to Beck and Palin.

I find it kind of interesting that when Sam Donaldson, Chris Matthews or one of the other left-leaning reporters goes after a President, nobody says a word, while when Brad does it to Obama, it’s scandalous. Obama has a famously thin skin for criticism. He also has a tendency to lecture, rather than answer. He also has a bad habit of spinning the truth/mis-stating facts/distorting the truth. I applaud Brad for catching him on those falsehoods. And if he has to get a little confrontational to level the playing field, then I say go to it. Unless and until the rules are the same for Conservatives in the White House, the Dems should expect the same treatment when their guy runs the joint.
