Leveling the Pyramids? Experts Explain What Could Be in Store Now That the Muslim Brotherhood Runs Egypt

On Thursday evening’s episode of the Glenn Beck Program, Blaze contributor Erick Stakelbeck welcomed guests David Brog, Executive Director of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), and Raymond Ibrahim of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, to discuss the growing threat of the Muslim Brotherhood now that it has seized power in Egypt.

Despite claims that the Brotherhood is moderate, the symbol of this militant Islamist group founded by staunch Adolf Hitler-admirer Hassan al-Banna, continues to bear two swords and a Quranic reference to jihad along with the slogan, “dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

Yet somehow, the Muslim Brotherhood, led by newly elected Egyptian President Mohamad Morsi, are on a mission to win the hearts and minds of the West. And they might just be successful if they go the subtle route like al-Banna’s Oxford-educated grandson, Tariq Ramadan, who speaks of Shariah Law in effusive, flowery terms.

While it is fine for intellectuals to “opine” the softer-side of Shariah in theory, in reality it “spills blood,” warned Brog. In reality, Morsi will incite violence against Israel on the streets of Egypt, then turn around and say that his people’s overriding hatred for Israel (which will have been fostered by him), is why he must take action against the Jewish State.

“This is the vicious cycle.”

At the end of the day, Hamas and al Qaeda were both spawned by the Muslim Brotherhood. The question now, according to Brog, is will they choose the Turkish model (also no prize) of governing, or will they seek to emulate the Iranian or even Hamas model.

Brog reminded viewers that when it first arrived on the scene, even Israelis held a sympathetic view of Hamas as they saw it a counterbalance to Fatah and Yasser Arafat. But lo, Hamas turned violent and while many seek to prop up the claim that the terrorist organization was “democratically elected,” Brog swiftly debunked such claims.

“They were not democratically elected,” he said. “They won parliamentary elections but never took control [from Abbas].” Eventually, Hamas waged a “violent, bloody coup” to seize power in Gaza, where they still remain, implementing Shariah Law and using it as a base from which to launch attacks against Israel.

To illustrate the prevailing mindset among Islamists in the region, the panel even discussed reports circulating the Arab media that prominent Egyptian clerics have been agitating to destroy the country’s “pagan” pyramids. Bahrain’s “Sheikh of Sunni Sheikhs” and President of National Unity, Abd al-Latif al-Mahmoud, called on Morsi to “destroy the Pyramids and accomplish what the Amr bin al-As could not.” While some claim the reports are a hoax, the idea that Islamists would call for the destruction of the Great Pyramids is more than plausible given the history and players involved.

If one recalls, just six months before the September 11th attacks, the Taliban destroyed the Buddhas of Bamiyan, two 6th century statues, in an effort to purge Afghanistan of Hindu “heresy” and that which was perceived as “haraam,“ or ”sinful.”

“This is a cautionary tale”:

Wow, what are they smoking? Morsi has said he wants to restore Egypt’s tourism industry. Kind of hard to to that without the pyramids. Al Qaeda was created by our CIA and Israel’s Mossad. There leaders were kicked out of the Muslim Brotherhood for being radicals. As far as the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood being an admirer of Hitler, he joins a lot of well known names in our countries history who not only admired but supported Hitler. The Kennedys. the Bushs, the Rockerfellers, Charles Lindbergh, the Fords, the DuPonts, Allen Dulles, Andrew Mellon, Chase Bank, National City Bank, GE, GM and Standard Oil(now Exxon). Maybe there is an infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood in our government. Those names include multiple Cabinet Members, 2 directors of the CIA, 3 Presidents, and numerous US Representatives and Senators, Vice Presidents. You are all fools for falling for this BS again. The ties run deep and go far back. But you all have bought into the lie that the greatest enemy is someone else, some foreign group that you are totally ignorant of. But you ignore the greatest enemy and allow yourselves to be led like sheep to the slaughter believing that the slavery you have sold yourself into is security. That’s right, the same companies that are “good for America” are the same ones that embrace fascism wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross. And you’re going to vote for someone that believes god lives on the planet Kolob, yet hate Islam.

I know who the Muslim Brotherhood is. You clearly don’t. The brotherhood is one of many Islamic organizations with varying degree’s of megalomania. When they claim to want to restore tourism and also claim Jerusalem as the new capitol of the caliphate. When they also threaten Israel and America. Which rhetoric do you believe? ‘Oh, they don‘t mean it’. Also, do you think it’s not possible to separate all of Islam with terrorist organizations? And my favorite crazy argument you made was because x y and z supported fascism, I should be fine with the Morsi admiring Hitler for killing 6 million Jews. And by the way, the names you mentioned have been maligned with that conspiracy theory for decades. It’s non-sense as is the idiotic, CIA created Al-Qaeda. They are an off shoot of the brotherhood. This history is well known.

Allow me a slight bit of logic here. If the folks here really, I mean really believed in their anti-Islamic rhetoric they would be pushing the government for alternate energy sources, nuclear electric plants and electric cars. The point being to reduce our demand for Middle East oil and chocking off their source of funding. But I haven‘t really seen that so either you don’t believe in your Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy or you just don’t think past your last anti-somebody comment.

GOOD TRY CAIR TROLL…no CIGAR. MBHood would level Pyramids because they build monuments to themselves where ever they “conquer” and they also try to purge all references to any other than themselves. That also goes for tearing down “monuments” to any others – other than Islam. This is the final battle coming. God wins, they (who follow Satan disguised as ‘god’)loose.

Ok JROOK, lets break down your “logic”. First false premise is that this is anti-Islamic. You accuse “folks here” of essentially stereotyping all of Islam but you just did the same thing to “folks here”. How can the Muslim Brotherhood be considered all of Islam. When we are specifically talking about an organization we are NOT talking about an entire religion.
Second false premise. “Folks here” should be pushing our government for alternative energy to reduce our dependance on foreign oil. Going back decades, how much tax money has been spent on alternative energy sources? Billions and billions. Why do you suppose we have nothing substantial to speak of? Government is highly inefficient. So, thinking that they can somehow find a more efficient form of energy is illogical. It’s hard to get around the laws of thermal dynamics. With the exception of splitting or fusing atoms, nothing produces more energy than it consumes. This is the main reason that alternative energy may turn out to be a pipe dream. I hope not but we need a breakthrough discovery to alter our paradigm. Like discovering new realms to physics.
Fossil fuels are the most efficient forms of energy we have, period. Oil is directly related to the food supply. Not just the tractors but petrol-chemicals like fertilizer and pesticides are how we feed the world. Understanding we are all dependent on oil for life itself is understanding our foreign policy for the last 4 decades. Forget your cars!

Well let’s see…..Glenn Beck warned of the Muslim Brotherhood before they got in power. The Zionist media tried to make him out as a conspiracy nut. Now that they are in power, let them do their thing. The media shouldn’t worry about Israel (the media’s homeland) they had their chance to paint them for what they are in the media. Instead the Marxist Media painted them as little George Washingtons and Thomas Jeffersons running around in Egypt. I’m sure they will level the pyramids if they get a chance. They did something like it in Afghanistan back in 1999 or 2000 when they took over. It’s too late now. The die is cast.

Kind of off topic, but interesting stuff:
The Great Pyramid was not built by the Egyptians as mainstream “historians” teach, but was likely built by Seth’s grandson Enoch before The Great Flood. The Pyramid is a much more fascinating structure than most people even know. For more information, click on the link I have given above, or google the phrase “prophecy in stone”.

Since the Great Flood re-arranged the entire earth in a mass of sedimentary deposits, how did that one pyramid survive it? We are talking catastrophic plate tectonics and million of tons of stratified sediments reshaping the entire earth and one structure survives it all? Give me a break. That was built after the flood.

Pouncing… timelines in the article are off considerably. Three floods, one at the end of the last glacial and more or less gradual though very transformative, and two at ~1540BC and another at ~720BC. These were perhaps localized and less damaging, but were likely incorporated into the fabric of the flood story.

Acovenantinblood, how about restoration? Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure may have been involved exactly in that, while later sources attributed to them erection of these edifices. Don’t ask me who build it, I don’t know, but indications are that neither of them. The hieroglyphic for “three mountains”, with its typical 3 triangular shapes on a slab (Giza Plateau?) is much older than their rule.

I’ve dealt with them a number of times. Oddly, we had an Iraqi COL attending one of the courses when Sadam’s military invaded Kuwait. Out of courtesy he was put under house arrest, but eventually moved to another installation with better accommodating detention facilities.
