Liberal SuperPAC Targets Tea Party Reps and Their ‘Downright Crazy Actions and Beliefs’

Liberal SuperPAC Takes Aim at the Tea Party TenActBlue, a non-profit political committee who describes themselves as “the online clearinghouse for Democratic action,“ has waged war on a group of Republican legislators who they label ”the Tea Party Ten” via their own “CREDO” SuperPAC. The  “Take Down the Tea Party Ten” campaign is aiming to collect donations to help take down 10 members of Congress, naming the frist six Monday; Reps. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.), Steve King (R-Iowa), Allen West (R-Fla), Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), Frank Guinta (R-N.H.), and Chip Cravaack (R-Minn.) The CREDO fundraising page at ActBlue.com reads:

“These Tea Party extremists in Congress have spent the last year attacking women, science and the very notion of equality under the law.

Their racist, sexist, anti-science, hypocritical, corrupt and downright crazy actions and beliefs make them unfit to serve in Congress.

We need your help to take them down.”

In a release Monday, the group said that the CREDO SuperPAC’s 11,000 donors are second to only Stephen Colbert’s SuperPAC.

“We’re talking about some of the most odious members of Congress. Even for Republicans these guys are low,“ said Campaign Manager Matthew ”Mudcat” Arnold in a statement. “We’re going to empower local activists to organize their friends and neighbors to lay out the truth about their representatives in the most basic terms: They are anti-woman. They are anti-science. They are hypocritical, bigoted, and have said and done things that are downright crazy. They’ve done more to embarrass their constituents then they have to govern or work toward solutions. They are unfit for congress, and we’re going to help their constituents hold them accountable.”

The SuperPAC plans to open field offices in the congressional districts of each target. According to the statement, CREDO will spend an estimated $3 million to target the Tea Party Republicans with grassroots organizing by progressive activists both online and in the field. It has raised about $160,000 so far.

“We’re taking the traditional SuperPAC model and turning it on its head – to put power back in the hands of the people, instead of consolidating it in the hands of corporate executives and the ultra-wealthy.” Becky Bond, president of the CREDO SuperPAC, said in the press release. “Where Karl Rove and the Koch brothers can use shady money from a few hidden donors to fund a barrage of TV attack ads, this SuperPAC will empower local voters and our list of 2.5 million activists to build a grassroots campaign that is as hard hitting as it is progressive. Using innovative tactics, technology, and good, old fashioned grassroots organizing, we’re going to kick some Tea Party congressmen out of office.”

At the SuperPac’s webpage, the group provides short explanations for their opposition to each of the six Republicans targeted thus far. Amongst harsh rhetoric towards all six Congressmen, the SuperPac labels Rep. Steve King a “Paranoid Bigot,” Rep. Chip Cravaack “The Hypocrite’s Hypocrite,” and Rep. Allen West “Beyond Crazy.”

All living things die when they become so corrupt that they poison themselves.

Unless you consider the Articles of Confederacy anything more than a beta release. If we’re going to go that route, we should be talking about USA3, right now. Then again, had Jefferson’s quote come to fruition, we could be talking USA9 or USA13, depending on your stance on how many generations we’d be using. [I'm trying to make a parallel to some quotes I've heard about how many versions of HTML we would have had if we kept the same pace as its initial development... Perhaps this is the wrong crowd...]

I support the Constitution and the Republic under a free, Capitalistic society. I believe in chopping government off at the knees, not soaking the American citizen for more taxes to hide the massive corruption in this country! I believe in ripping the guts out of the welfare system in an effort to ensure that those who need welfare get it and not just doling the bucks out to anybody! I believe the IRS is just about the worst enemy of the American people! I believe the media in this country is culpable in the very destruction of our country from within! I believe in enforcing the Immigration Laws of America! I believe there is no longer a democrat party, rather an entity that has morphed into the Liberal Marxist party. Our enemies are becoming well defined. Soon we, as American Patriot’s, are going to have to deal with them … harshly. Shove that up yer wazoo, super PAC!!!

It’s time to get serious with the Tea Party. The government must mark them in some manner so we know who they are. Then we can seperate them from society and take their property because we known they made their money off the backs of the poor and those on the outside. We can try to get them to change their ways but if they refuse, we must treat them harder. Camps may very well be needed, and for some, they will just have to be erased. What they claim to believe in, encluding their relegion, must be erased as well. Perhaps soon we can gain our society that is fair.

“Liberal SuperPAC Targets Tea Party Reps and Their ‘Downright Crazy Actions and Beliefs’

Here’s just one more indication that 1984 has arrived. Up is down, down is up, good is bad, bad is good. It never ends.

Though these crazies, misfits and oddballs are far from the majority, they are still too numerous for the good of any society. They’ve inundated academia and the news media, and they are in complete control of the Democrat party. Though their numbers are small they have considerable influence and power.

It‘s a situation that can’t hold. There are too many people who are sane and responsible to ever expect living with these miscreants could ever be possible.

The alternative is conflict and break up, and that‘s exactly where we’re headed.

Civil war II is a very real probabability within the very near future. This empire has run its course and is no longer viable.

Lock and load. Critical mass is coming down fast.

These people may be able to tackle the “Establishment” Tea Party groups, you know, the ones who have decided to make the Tea Party what it never was intended to be. It appears as if they are taking care of themselves.
With this being said, those who are part of what is the true Tea Party movement, can’t be pinned to any group or any source of funding and are unbreakable. The Evagelicals don’t own the Tea Party. Tea Party Express doesn’t own the Tea Party, Sarah Palin doesn’t represent the Tea Party, Ron Paul doesn’t represent the Tea Party, but the people represent the Tea Party. It was those of us who all went to Washington DC together and met for the Restoring Honor event who understand the Tea Party is group of people spiritually connected wishing for basic changes in the way our government is being run. Certainly, many people have become lost along the way, having become ideologues with some determining that Tea Party is purely a religious movement and deciding to interject their ideals as the beliefs of the Tea Party. Personally, I have stepped away from the sickening paranoia and especially the religious take over of the Tea Party. I sat in DC with some women who were just Mothers who had enough of what is going on in Washington, they wanted the federal government out of our lives.I find it completely sickening that any part of the Tea Party had endorsed Newt Gingrich. Any who do have failed to recognize MR Big Thinker is also a globalist UN lover.

That is a pretty absurd connection to draw. He is a “former” Romney supporter, and somehow that implies that Romney is involved? By that logic, Obama is behind attacks on Israel by Hamas because Hamas endorsed him.

Isn’t it a little suspicious that a conspiracy involving Mitt Romney trying to get rid of an insanely popular conservative Congressman comes up just days before a primary? Everyone bought it when it was an attack on Newt in SC. How do we know Newt isn’t behind it? I’d say the chances are just as great, if not greater still. After all, if Newt wins, he can just pick West as a running mate and there is no harm done.

The “feminist movement” has caused untold misery, disappointment, dysfunctional, unhealthy
Anti-science — When studied with an honest heart, global warming has been proven by other
scientists to be false; the Bible can be proven true without reasonable doubt and many scientists
have come to believe after honestly researching – book “Scientists Who Believe” Science proves
the Bible true, among other proofs. Evolution has been easily disproven (DNA, etc.)
Hypocritical, bigoted — Say they’re tolerant but constantly criticize and use
horrible hate speech re Christians, the “religious right” and Jews.
Crazy things — the list too long (all lib “policies”, lifestyles, Occupy group, etc.)

I think you misunderstand. If you can show me where liberals call people racist for disagreeing with Obama, then I’ll say OK. However, remember that I wouldn’t even hold the conservative movement culpable for comments on this site, so I hope you can find a reputable source.

I see words thrown around like “ALL” and “EVERYBODY” so easily, yet there is nothing to even suggest that this stuff is true.

Blackhawk, you did provide me a source, however that is unrelated to what I was talking about. The OP was talking about how silly it would be to call those who are against Allen West racist. I assumed this was because he thought the opposite was being done for Barack Obama. So I asked for an example. It‘s a straw man argument because he’s knocking down an argument that was never made, at least not in this context.

How are these people breathing? They have their heads so far up their backsides. Have they seen what the muslims are doing to their women? Have they not seen who is doing the race-baiting. The tea party is a group of like minded people. Dead set on saving this country. Plain and simple

Some researchers in British Columbia just presented a paper that showed cultures with monogamy is superior to polygamy. Meanwhile major elements of the left endorsed “Beyond Marriage”. Among some of the signatories are some that believe in polyamory. the left just doesn’t learn, but we already knew that. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

It’s suspicious that a LOT of Unemployed/Not Employed are able to give $5000, $1000, $500. Quite a bit of them are from CA. I wonder, if someone were to investigate this, how many dead or ficticious people contributed money.

Allow me to TRANSLATE this sentence: “These Tea Party extremists in Congress have spent the last year attacking women, science and the very notion of equality under the law.”

TRANSLATION: “There are people who believe the very same things the Founders of the Constituion believed! They are disgusted by baby-killing (which we love), they actually believe in Almighty God, like, for real. And they agree with Dr. King that society and government programs should be color-blind.”

“yeah those evil libs with their equal rights, safe working conditions, equal pay, voter rights, anti pollution and civil rights. what a bunch of evil crazies.”
      ————————–
re: “equal rights” – They already have equal rights. Their definition of rights is that it is always someone else’s obligation. An example would be the right to some one else’s checking account.

re:“safe working conditions” and “equal pay”. – If you don’t like it, move on and do something else. Start your own business. Or is this another excuse to not work at all and mooch off the taxpayer.

re: “voters rights” – I think you mean the right to commit voter fraud by not requiring voter ID.

re: all your points – Worn out talking points that are excuses to take dominion
over a free people who exercise self control and their rights to self determination.

      @YouAreMistakenSir

Just read it as it is written.
“It is righteous to hate evil and these liberals are evil.”

#1. “It is righteous to hate evil…..”. The beginning of Wisdom is the hatred of evil, the perverted mouth, and the perverted way.

#2 “……and these liberals are evil”. A wise man sees evil and takes a wide path around it.

What is making liberals increasingly evil is their hatred of the Word of God which is the power of God for salvation, which would be Jesus Himself.

Pretty amazing when fiscal responsibility is called “radical” and having terrorists (Bill Ayres) communists and marxists (Van Jones and Anita Dunn) in your administration is considered “normal.” Over that last 50 years, the Progressive Liberals have drug the Demoncratic party so far to the radical left that even a middle-of-the-road viewpoint is being attacked as radical right. That’s what RINOs have really done for us, they’ve continually inched the whole political process further and further left.
