Liberal Talk Show Hosts Speculate Whether Murdoch Pie Attack Was ‘Staged’

Three days after News Corp. head Rupert Murdoch testified before a U.K. parliamentary hearing and had a pie thrown in his face, hosts on the Stephanie Miller Show pondered whether the incident could have all been a hoax to garner sympathy for the 80-year-old media mogul, and to distract from the death of the reporter who blew the whistle on the phone-hacking scandal.
“There’s some talk that may have been staged.”
“Yeah, that was a little weird, to somehow make the story all about her,” Miller said, referring to Murdoch’s wife Wendi who leapt from her chair to defend her husband from self-described activist and comedian Jonnie Marbles.

Who cares? The American people don‘t care what’s happening on the other side of the pond unless it involves Will and Kate, a celebrity or a terrorist attack. The only reason this story is garnering any attention is that the MSM is getting giddy over the prospect of destroying Fox News. I lived in the UK for 3 years and the News of the World is a gossip rag. If you want the news, you read the Times or the Sun.
Even if it was staged, it was fun to watch Wendi beeuhtch-slap that guy. If it was staged, kudos to the Murdochs. If it wasn’t, kudos to Wendi.
