But it did serve as a wake up call to the ones in power right now that the AMERICAN PEOPLE have had enough. That we are not going to take it laying down anymore. That the government just pass bills and we have to like it. The Democrats and Republicans are going to have to learn to work together for the good of the NATION. Not just their own agendas or what’s good for their states. Hopefully they got the message and learn from it.

I think these elitists are the dumb ones because either we have a republic, where the people choose their representatives who represent the people’s views, or we have a dictatorship where the leaders at the top ignore the people’s will and legislate what they think is best.
The solution is to encourage people to be politically educated, something that I think is anathema to progressives, become they would rather people not know the details but root for vague, blurry ideals – all without debate from opposing views (opposing views must be stupid, so don’e listen to them).
