The ship of the far left is taking on water fast. I love it! Should we throw the pour sap a life vest? Get your facts straight. You are far from understanding what Glenn Beck is all about. As a matter of fact so was the gunmen that couldnt aim. You should take the 40 day and 40 night challenge to find out who you really are.

Well, I watch Beck too, at least sometimes, and Bill O’Reilly too, but I also watch Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow and the Daily Show and 60 Minutes . If I went on a killing spree it could be used as an excuse to shut down news broadcasting altogether.

Um, somebody stop me before that starts to sound like a good thing.

Now that it has been exposed as a left wing guy their will be nothing more said about it. What does Glenn do when he knows the truth, does he lash out with hate and blame, no he goes to Wilmington Ohio and helps a town during Christmas.

The left will do any and everything they can to attack him because he is one of the who who is actually standing up and exposing their agenda EVERY day! While I don‘t think he’s right about EVERYTHING .. as I’ve done my research (just like he insists!) .. but a lot of it seems spot on.

I am not surprised. Media matters was this mans choice, not Glenn Beck. The progressives play on the weak minded to do their dirty deeds for them and then they throw them under the bus and claim Fox, Beck , Palin, or George Bush was responsible . Give me a break . There ought to be a fine for out and out lieing by news media hosts or guests. Opinions are one thing , but to fabricate lies to spread any agenda is wrong. Maybe that would force the media to accurately report the news. This person deliberately fabricated the facts in yet another attempt to destroy Glenn and FOX news.

Actually, Slim, most towns had two newspapers, back in the day. One was a Republican viewpoint and the other was the Democratic take. There was no pretense that the reporters were “unbiased” I don’t think that really happened until Edwin Murrow. However, the New York Times positioned itself as “All the news fit to print”, which I believe gave the illusion of unbiased reporting. TV news used to just be a reporter at a desk reading AP wire reports, but then in the 60′s, you have the introduction of “human interest stories” and in the 70′s Woodward and Bernstein burst into national awareness with the Watergate scandal.

As we have always “had” freedom of the press through our First Amendment, far too often I suspect people believe that news reporters are unbiased because they are supposed to be bringing the :just the facts”. However, after spending time reading newspapers from the 1800′s for a research project, I can truthfully say that unbiased reporting was not as widespread as one might imagine. Libel suits abounded and some of the local political articles I’ve seen was still tinged with venom after all these years. There have been cases where reporters have outright lied about issues, and subsequently suffered dismissal, but those are far and few between.

Personally, I think Mike Malloy made the statement to attract attention, just like Helen Thomas, Keith Olberman, Janeane Garofalo, Rosie O’Donnell, Joy Behar and many other wingnuts who have made statements that make people wondering what is in their drinking water. It’s Sturm und Drang, nothing more. All flash and smoke, no substance.

Oh, and the shooter was a “Truther” just like Øbama’s friend – Van Jones.

What else is in the profile? Duke’s “Favorite Quotes” section contains a number of links to political websites—mostly pretty out-there 9/11-truther-here-comes-the-new-world-order stuff, but also the mainstream liberal Media Matters and, of course, a Wikileaks mirror. (Expect these sites to be the ball in the exciting “Clay Duke Was a Dangerous Liberal” vs. “Clay Duke Was a Nutcase Conservative” game we’ll all get to watch over the next few days.) His “Religious Views” are “Humanism” and his “Political Views” are “Freedom Fighter.” Duke’s “About Me” section also contains lines from a poem—“Masque of Anarchy” by Percy Shelley:

In this case, I suspect that they‘re hoping nobody actually reads his facebook page and discovers that he’s just a hair shy of being a Lenin when it comes to political beliefs. Unfortunately, that fact is out there now, so when they start beating the drums as they’re doing currently, we can calmly point people to this nutjob’s real beliefs.

Please remember, these “talk radio show hosts” need to have an audience. When their ratings slip, they make these outrageous claims for two reasons: the first is the need to have someone pick up the comment and react, just like we are all doing because someone “heard” the remark and posted it here and the second is that when the outrageous remark is made, everyone listens to see what the host is going to do next.

I don’t think they really believe half the stuff that comes out of their mouths. It’s really just a version of “trash talk”. Unfortunately, there are listeners who take every word that drips from their lips as gospel truth and believe it. It runs along the lines of “Well, I don’t like Bubba, so I’ll say he did X,Y,Z on the air today.” And they work it up in to a frenzy. And if they can convince just one listener that Bubba did whatever ridiculous action, then they succeeded. Personally, I outgrew that kind of mentality back in grade school.

Don’t know if you remember, but a number of years ago, Rush Limbaugh made a statement on the air and a Congressman wrote to him to demand he apologize. Rush didn’t apologize, but what he did do is put the letter on eBay and the proceeds went to a charity. Now, that’s class, unlike Olberman who just suspended his Twitter account (how old is he? Five or six?) because he got in a verbal “twar” (tweet war for those of us who manage daily life without Twitter) with someone over whether Julian Assange raped or had sex with Swedish women. It’s hilarious, but it’s also very, very sad, just like this guy’s statement that Glenn Beck is responsible for someone who watched a movie and decided to scare the crap out of a local school board. How tough it must be to get up everyday and face the world with that kind of mind set.

You don’t have to agree with Glenn Beck’s politics or religion to know that he does not advocate, condone, or agree with the use of violence in the form taken by the nut case in Florida. Glenn has spoken of self-defense or the defense of his family as justifying violence when threatened with violence, but who in their right mind doesn’t? If the report is true that the shooter listened to Media Matters then report that Mr. Malloy. Hey hoosier, tell me at what point did Mr. Beck put a gun to peoples head and take their money? At what point are people threatened with fines and or jail time for not giving money to Mr. Beck? I can tell you what that answer is! Never happened. See what it comes down too is Mr. Beck offers a service that people are willing to pay for, it’s called the free market system or “capitalism”. And Mr. Beck, because of the free market system and the money he has legally earned has taken millions of his own money that he has earned and given to multiple charities. Constantly preaching “non-violence”. The issue here isn’t if Mr. Beck is going to take a vacation that he worked hard for, him being successful and having the means to do so is not something to begrudge him for but rather happy for him. No the issue here is why does the government and people like you think that the government knows what is best for me or my kids or you even, more so then me or you respectively? Why does the government think they are better equipped to decide what charities and programs my money should go into in my community then I do? See you have missed the point completely Hoosier. You are too focused on what you have heard from out of context clips, people like Olberman (what does he have like 10 viewers), and sites like moveon.org and thinkprogress etc. No you should instead be happy that a small business owner like Beck is even looking to expand to hire more people for his radio company. Hell it’ll some of the first private sector jobs created during this administration.

“My gut says Mr. Beck is a little looney”. Is your “gut” a dog?? Because if it is, you may want to seek professional help. The next thing you know, your “gut” will be telling you to paint a “V” on a wall and shoot at people….after you take him for a walk in the park, of course.

Well, If a man is not entitled to the product of his labor then i guess that would include his actions whether they are bad or good. Why not? If it is not my mind and labor that created the wealth I use to buy my bread, but every one else in society. Then should it not also be everyones fault but my own if i snap one day and destroy something (I wont)?

Remember what they drilled into us at school. No man is an island. I suppose they should put society on trial for this crime.

Oddly enough, Hoosier, I actually know someone who is a personal friend of Beck’s. Just found that out recently.

There are lots of people who go on vacation. There are lots of people who may be sipping a cool drink. None of that is illegal or immoral. As for your statement that he’s laughing at the poor and hopeless, I’d like to know your source. including when, where and to whom he made those remarks. Otherwise, it’s your little fantasy, not a fact.

Anyway, you can have your fantasies about him, but from all I’ve heard, he’s nothing like that.

      Have a nice day.

Beck’s end times fire and brimstone rants effect the crack pot fringe badly and at least in this instance may well have promted this mentally unstable man to act violently. This proves what I and others have been concerned about can happen. It’s that simple. If Glenn would cease the religious wackery, he wouldn’t have to worry about this type of thing. Glenn may well have blood on his hands in this instance. All for a buck and some ratings too. Pretty damn sad.

      “PREPONDERANCE OF PROPAGANDA”!
Another example of the “preponderance of propaganda”! The wannabe tyrants and their cronies are publicizing lies, half-truths and the irrelevant to avoid a discussion of the issues. Pay no attention to the smokescreen.
When the premise is false the only arguments that can be used are fear mongering, emotion, sarcasm, ridicule, attacking the messenger and misrepresentation of the facts (lying). Those who expect to reap huge profits from our misery caused by tyranny are experts at these tactics.
The only relevant issue is freedom or tyranny!!!! http://commonsense21c.com/

My gut tells me that your gut is pretty stupid, and that you are about 23, live with your parents, and have never really done anything you can be proud of. There is real happiness and good in this world, and Glenn Beck, as goofy as he can be…just wants that for all of us.

The fact that many of you folks just cant stand that truth, and gnash their teeth at the mere idea that Beck may be sincere in his endeavors…keeps many of us very warm at night.

Hoosier…you and the truth have never met. If you had, maybe you’d have met someone who had the courage to tell you that your writing is real bad. You should call IUPUI stat.

Huffington is a Beck listener as well. So is Barry Obeyme, as he so often alludes to Beck (in a derisive way). See how that works?

I’m daily left in awe at how much lying is required in order to be a Leftist. It is simply breathtaking the world of deceit and treachery they live in. Wouldn’t any sane person step back on occasion and ask himself “what am I doing? This is wrong!” about the things Leftists do on a daily basis in order to justify their twisted ideology? Good gracious, it truly has to be some form of mental disorder.

But okay–we know progressives play to win by any means necessary, and if they can blame Glenn Beck, their sheeple will rise up and demand free speech for some be revoked. It’s time to send all these communist hippies over to Venezuela. I say we do an exhange program, we’ll take freedom craving enslaved Venezuelans who know what freedom costs, and let these commies go live in their so-called Utopia. You need to understand that the Bible authenticates itself by the prophecies it forfills, in other words, you know that the Bible is the Word Of God because only God can predict the future with 100% accuracy. If you do not agree, perhaps, when you open the Bible you should pray and ask God to reveal His Words to you before you begin reading.
