Libyan Forces Claim They Shot Down NATO Chopper

Today, Libyan state television reported that Gadhafi’s forces successfully shot down a NATO helicopter. But NATO is denying this claim. Reuters has more:

A military official at the headquarters of NATO’s Libya mission in Naples said: “We have no indication to show that this is true. It’s a spurious claim.”

According to Trend, Libya’s government-run Al-Jamahiriya channel cited a military source. The television report went as follows:

“The People’s Armed Forces have dropped down early today a NATO helicopter. “This is the third helicopter to be shot down since NATO began to use them.”

This claim comes as NATO is stepping up pressure on the Gadhafi regime. Last weekend, for the first time, the international body began utilizing helicopters against Libyan forces. Additionally, officials now claim that Gadhafi, himself, is a target. Watch below for more:

I just wish that I could put Obama in a cage with Khadaffi (Qadaffi or whatever…) and see what happens.

Obama has still not gone to Congress to make his case regarding this war and what his unilateral objectives might be, and there is no hue and cry from the government media! Why? Because Obama can do no wrong.

Here we are partnering with al Qaeda, our mortal enemy, in this war in Libya! Yet Obama can do no wrong.

We have such a duplicitous MSM that it’s shameful. And Congress has become irrelevant.

I’m just waiting for the Imposter-in-Chief to crown himself King!

Funny that Barry’s picking fights. Seems he’s trying to become the man in the relationship, but doesn’t know how. He wants, desperately, to become the hero and is trying very hard to get there. But his narcissism wildly overreaches his intelligence.

Why are we there in Libya? Thats right for the oil the rebels will sell us after we free them yeah that didn’t happen in Iraq and they said that then also. Libya couldn‘t shot down anything by now they didn’t have a big military to speak of any way.

  Exactly. We are being spread so thin militarily and economically, it will bring us to the breaking point and allow the administration freedom to bend everything to their own will. It is also why Obama has managed to draw most of NATO into the same mess, so the socialist allies of his are able to make their moves.
  
  Right at this time, disillusion and morale, according to troops I am talking with, are at low levels and they want to come home. What will happen if the forces are ordered into a conflict, and some then refuse to go…look at the outcry of support for the traitor who gave away all the secrets to the wikileaks band of Aasang.

  If Obama is going to declare war on all the middle east shouldn’t he get congressional authority? Last I checked, this could be treason on his part. Congress should be on this right now. We now have 4 wars going on…just keep adding them Obama….he owns them, all of them now.

  Obama is totally arrogant. There was no strategic interest for the USA to attack Libya. Obama loves the power he feels to have unleashed our massive military on a tiny country and tells any lie necessary to try to justify his actions. That is, unless he has a hidden agenda and that is a very distinct possibility.

  I think that obama doesn‘t realize that even if he does manage to have our soldiers killed off that when he and his cronies attempt to take over the US that there are plenty of us left that’s not fighting in any wars over there to fully protect us from any attempted enemy takeover. They don’t realize that just because our soldiers are fighting and even being killed that they have come nowhere close to “awakening the sleeping giant”. There are MILLIONS of us here that have the soldiers’ backs.
