Libyan Rebel Steals Hat, Gold Scepter from Gadhafi’s Bedroom!

Days after rebel forces take over Libya’s capital city of Tripoli, journalists are starting to hear some interesting stories.
Here’s one example from Mediaite: A man explains how he found himself in Muammar Gaddafi’s bedroom and came away with some new extravagant accessories. Among his new possessions are a general’s hat, a huge gold chain and a solid gold scepter.
“It wasn’t really pretty hard,” a happy rebel told a reporter from Sky News, who was wearing a headpiece of her own (a protective metal helmet). “I just went inside his room, Gaddafi’s bedroom, and I was like, oh my God, I‘m in Gaddafi’s room, oh my God.”
He went on to say he was happy for Libyans and to thank the other countries who have supported his own nation through its struggles.
The interview took an emotional turn when the rebel started talking about friends and fellow rebels who had died fighting Gaddafi forces and who now couldn’t see the success he was so proud of. “God loved them more than me maybe because they’re next to God,” he said.
With the sound of popping guns in the background, the rebel spoke about revenge. He told the Sky News reporter, he would like to see Libya move forward, work together with former Gaddafi supporters and shake their hands, rather than take violent actions against them.
“We want justice, only justice. We’re a simple people, we don’t like to have these kinds of things,” he said.
“Their punishment,” an armed rebel standing by chimed in.
“What is their punishment?” the reporter asked.
“We want them in Libya here –” said another onlooking rebel.
“You want a trial, you want to put them on trial,” the reporter said.
“Yes, a fair trial,” agreed the original source, still wearing the glamorous general‘s hat he stole from Gaddafi’s bedroom.

What I am most concerned about is Who or whom will be taking over in Libya next? Look for many world leaders positioning themselves to “Help the Libyan People with Democratic elections”. They all will have an agenda so keep an eye out who steps in first. I am always amazed at how often people speak of the “The Corporation”, “The Board of Directors”, “The School system”, and “ The Government”. Ultimately it is “People” that are making those decisions, influencing, directing, instituting. To give you an example of my point: “The SUV drove thru the house”, again ultimately a “Person” was driving the SUV that drove thru the house, with their foot on the gas pedal. What I do know is this, the Libyan people will need a new Leader very soon……and I nominate our President Barak Hussein Obama to go to Libya and fill that post. They eventually leave, and we begin to sway back to Capitalism; the way most of us wanted it. You know there is a % of socialists and communists here in America that would love China to “spread communism” around the world and here in America. So China would be a hero to people like Obama, Van Jones, Chris Matthews, etc.
Suppose 45 years later, 40 Americans that hate China for being a Military / Industrial Complex and world bully, attack Hong Kong and kill thousands ?
In turn, they come back to America and Invade, looking for these “terrorists”; although it was just a small fraction of the populace here. They claim they are here to also “Spread Communism” for your own good. Suppose they were here for over a decade looking for 0.09% of the American Population, killing innocent people along they way; communists taking capitalists (yours) gold chains and a solid gold scepters saying you stole them from socialists (lazy bums).
Would we Despise them ??????

One word: Sharia. Yes, they toppled a dictator who supported terrorism and deserves to be drawn, quartered and carried through the streets for all to see, but to replace one oppressive dictator with another (perhaps a council of dictators…er…I mean “clergy”) does nothing. Once they fully control Libya, see what happens when a woman gets raped or walks out in public without a proper head covering. Yep…real freedom and democracy right there, bought and paid for by the UN and NATO. Mark my words. The US will be fighting Libya either in a ground war or at least with cruise missiles and high altitude bombs within 10 years.
Report Post »Frankly, I think we need to mind our own business and let non-Americans kill each other all they want. We want to kill them anyways, it’s a lot cheaper if they do it themselves. If they get too out of line (any country really) where they become a threat to national security, position a carrier strike group and a Marine Expeditionary Unit off shore, lob a few cruise missiles into key targets and they’ll get back in line.
P.S. Dear France, please enjoy Libyan Oil (we don’t use that kind). The bill for US intervention in only 1 of many uprisings in the region should be in the mail shortly from our Nobel Peace Prize winning Warlord.
