Limbaugh Delivers Fiery Defense of Zimmerman: He ‘Has More Black in Him Than Elizabeth Warren Has Indian’

This morning, radio host Rush Limbaugh tackled the ongoing George Zimmerman saga, comparing it to the controversial Duke Lacrosse Case. Throughout his commentary, he contended that, thus far, Zimmerman’s account of the evening during which Martin died appears to be accurate. He derided the prosecution and slammed the “drive-by media’s” coverage of the incident, according to a clip published by Daily Rushbo.

The radio host started his discussion by delving into the new medical report, which claims that Zimmerman had a broken nose, two black eyes, bruises on face and lip and two cuts on his head following his clash with Martin. As The Blaze previously reported, these issues were discovered by Zimmerman’s family doctor.

“Welcome to the Duke Lacrosse Case all over again,” Limbaugh proclaimed. “Everything Zimmerman said about what happened to him turns out to be true after the media trying to cast him — along with the civil rights coalitions in this country– the race baiters — as abject lies.”

The radio host also wondered why this new-found information wasn‘t included in the prosecutor’s initial charging affidavit.

“News media seem to be ignoring these developments,” Limbaugh said, issuing a caveat that ABC News has, indeed, been covering the new details. “When the news media began to lose interest in the Trayvon Martin story…they were going 100,000 miles per an hour on this story and all of the sudden, they dropped it like a hot potato. And you have to wonder why they did that.”

The host went on to question whether the media abandoned the story when the details of the case began stacking up against the initial narrative — that Zimmerman attacked Martin based on purely racial grounds. Based on the facts, Limbaugh said discrimination on the part of Zimmerman doesn’t make much sense.

“Zimmerman’s grandmother was black,” Limbaugh continued. ”George Zimmerman has more black in him than Elizabeth Warren has Indian.”

Limbaugh also poked fun at Obama’s response to the Martin shooting. As was widely reported, the president said, “You know, if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon.”

“If all of this true — and just going by the photos that we’ve seen of Zimmerman — I’d almost have to say that, if Obama had another son, he would look a hell of a lot like George Zimmerman,” the host joked.

And if you ask anyone, for the most part, all they seem to know was that Zimmerman killed a black kid because he hated black people… Sad on both parties, the individual and the media for the flat out lies.       BAIKONUR, Care to back that up with some facts or audio. I‘ve listened to Rush since ’89 with a two year exception where I served my third tour in Europe and AFN was not yet carrying his show. I’ve never heard Rush make any kind of HATE speak. He may poke fun at idiots and liberals a lot, but disagreement and humor is not necessarily hate. Otherwise the likes of most liberals in the media would be nothing but absolute haters.
      Still, I would like for you to offer some proof. I’d certainly read or listen to it.

      Yes, your comment suggests that you are someone he would ridicule for making a dumb assertion with nothing to support your ridiculous statement. Rush is prone to a sarcastic, disagreeable barb. But, hate? I too have been listening since he first came on the air and I sported “Ditto” and “Rush is Right!” bumper stickers. I’ve never heard anything I would characterize as hate.

    Bottom line. Zimmerman was investigating what was going on in the neighborhood, then told to curtail his actions by the police…he did so and was heading back to his car when Martin approached him and asked him if he had a problem. Then Martin attacked Zimmerman…it was self-Defense on Zimmerman’s part.

      Your “bottom line” has not been established. From what we know, it appears that Zimmerman did not curtail his actions and continued to follow the suspect. What happened then has also not been proven. It could be that Martin started the altercation that led to him being shot, or it could be the other way around (at this point, we don’t know).

      Things I do know, from personal and professional experience, A) the “fight” wasn’t that bad. As evidenced by Zimmerman’s photos detailing his injuries. I’ve broken up fights that lasted maybe 30 seconds that both participants looked far worse. B) Zimmerman used lethal force in response to less than lethal force. Now, I know that the law isn’t as strict on that point with civilians as it is with Law enforcement, but it’s also common sense. C) the Sanford PD screwed the pooch on this one. There are certain protocols that the PD must follow when an altercation ends up with someone dead. Granted, I haven‘t worked for Sanford PD and I don’t know all of their directives ,but if this were to have happened in Kansas City the PD would have been held liable in so many different ways.

    Sadly, the damage is done, the media got the reaction they were looking for. If Zimmerman is not convicted, people will riot because tons of misinformation was intentionally put out there.

      Don’t forget that the prosecutor is known for overcharging her cases. Prosecutors who do this generally aren’t to sure of their case do this hoping for a conviction on a lesser included charge.
      As more and more information becomes available is appears that she either jumped in to soon or is just bowing to public pressure and hoping to make a name for herself.
      If she doesn’t get a conviction all hell is going to break loose. This will be a Rodney King redux but it won’t be confined to one city.

    If you travel to countries in central America like Belize you will see lots of folks whose grandparents and parents are black and who have the same kind of complexion and features as George Zimmerman. The whole mixture of Native American, white and black is very common.

    Rush Limbaugh is a truth teller, an honest, patriotic American unlike the people who inhabit NBC, CNN, ABC and the rest of the liberal news organizations.

    As more thruth comes out about the Zimmerman case the liars and supporters of the lies will have to work even harder to convict GZ in the media because the racists and the Obama administration still need their sacrificial lamb.

      Rush is a national disgrace. A member of the “money any way, any how” feed the angry mob group that include Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin and others closer to home. His presentation and biased is no different nor any more objectionable than the other sides. A jury will be presented with the facts and decide what actually occurred, even though they are strapped by only having one of the 2 individuals involved present. As the 29 year old adult, who weighed 70 lbs more, shot the 16 year old kid.

      Btw, according to the full version of the 911 call from zimmerman, he “persued” trayvon for a whole 15 seconds after he was told not to by the 911 operator before he lost track of him and started to return to his vehicle… Also, the SUGGESTION for him not to follow was just that, not an order he was required to obey, as a community watchman, it’s part of his job to figure out what suspicious looking people are up to, which is why he called the police THEN started following him, if you were about to intentionally go kill someone because you hate them would you call the cops and then do it in the middle of a neighborhood? I don’t think so

      And while I’m on the subject, if his actions were racially motivated -at all- wouldn’t he have thrown in a couple more shots for good measure? Maybe in the face or groin? He shot one time, and that round was aimed center mass, which is what anyone who has any kind of training whatsoever will do in order to dispose of a threat, now if he had done something like say light him on fire while screaming racial slurs at him and/or beaten him to a pulp that would be another story… Oh wait, I forgot… Blacks do that and noone reports or investigates it

    When is the Lame-Stream media going to get the word out, that George Zimmerman is Hispanic-Black, not White?

    He got the last name Zimmerman from his Step-Father, who is not a blood relative. His first name may actually be Jorge (Hor-Hey), not George. A lot of Hispanics change their names to a more Americanized version.

    Innocent White folks are being attacked in the name of justice for Trayvon Martin.
    A “White” man was not responsible for Trayvon’s death.

    Zimmerman is welcome in my neighborhood anytime. We appreciate gun carrying citizens. The neighborhood stays polite, respectful, and crime free.

    Most to the blacks denouncing Zimmerman are cold hard racists.

    Zimmerman should receive a metal of honor for his bravery.
