Limbaugh: Egyptian Anti-Gov‘t Protesters Mock Obama’s ‘Yes We Can’ Slogan

In a column for the Washington Post Tuesday, Marc Theissen, a fellow with the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), described “How Obama Lost the Egyptian People.”

“The extraordinary scenes in Cairo this past weekend brought back memories of similar scenes on the streets of Warsaw, Prague and Berlin two decades ago. Yet there is one crucial difference between then and now,” Theissen wrote. “Unlike the crowds that brought down Marxist regimes in Central Europe, the crowds that brought down the Mubarak regime in Egypt do not believe America stood with them in their struggle for freedom – and many believe we stood against them.”

Theissen went on to note how Egyptian protesters “waited in vain” for President Barak Obama to voice Americans’ support for the democratic revolution, and when the White House remained silent, “their hopes gave way to disappointment and eventually anger.” According to Theissen, some images that didn‘t make it into the mainstream media’s coverage included protesters’ signs declaring “Shame on you Obama!“ and showed Mubarak depicted as Obama in his iconic ”hope” image, with a caption that read “No You Can’t.”

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh touched on Theissen’s column during his Tuesday broadcast and said the signs were “mocking Obama and Mubarak.” Rush also wondered if it was “journalistic malpractice” that the negative images weren‘t shown by America’s mainstream media.

Look at he bright side of this whole Obama situation. He’s probably sitting in the oval office on one of his power trips, playing with the “Nuclear Football”, practicing his launch procedure. If he gets confused and activates a launch sequence, Sec. of Defense Robert Gates has to confirm the launch before it takes place. So effective all that is standing between us an nuclear war is “Albert and Costello”. That should help you to sleep well tonight.

Could it be that he doesn’t understand Egyptians any better than he does Americans?

I think it is absolutely reprehensible that our media outlets pick and choose the stories shown to the American people based on whether or not it fits their agenda. We need to be thankful that today there are a million other places where we can get our news because relying on the MSM and their hired bozos isn’t good for America. Case in point, there are a bunch of Lilly livered liberals running a muck bragging about how Obama is the second coming of Christ and how his “Hope and Change” has inspired the world. We have a few offenders here at this site- they consciously shrug off the information presented here and spend their energy belittling us when, in fact, they should be red faced regarding their gullibility.

Obama purposely and willfully did not support the people of Egypt- it is his goal and his goal alone to isolate the American people and alienate us from our Allies, so all we will have is HIM. Thank God for the Internet that many of us can let our friends in Egypt know that it is not the AMERICAN PEOPLE who don’t support them – just our inexperieced, disgraceful, utter embarrassment, borderline dictator himself Obama. Maybe if the main stream media had stopped wiping his A** after he was elected and started to ask him touch questions he wouldn’t stink so much

Well I did some homework.I just started searching (not google) for all the names I could find in articles and posts about the Egypt “grassrrots” revolt. Not. what I found out was that the “coalition” of young people’s groups were encouraged to take part and keep up the pressure while supplying cover for the Muslim Brotherhood, and for the fine young man at google who helped make it all possible. Just try ti. Start searching for things on these people, but remember to read between the lines and look for their key words, you’ll learn quickly what they are. Some Glenn provided.
grassroots my eye, this was well planned and organized from day one. Read!

Listen, Egypt. What you have to understand is that Obama is not a friend of freedom. He uses the word “Democracy”, but that word does not necessarily infer individual freedom and free market Capitalism, which is what you’re really looking for, hopefully.

  but posts actually engaging in a civilized discussion with links and news reports await moderation or face deletion.I don’t know if you all have noticed how the threads look a few days after they were on. Posts get deleted, sometimes the responses remain while the context post / question is gone. Posts are rearranged with NO regard to chronology of the actual discussion, making the whole thread look like a random mish-mash of incoherent rantings by some nutty dimwits, instead of a smooth conversation.

  Everyone having a problem needs to let Beck know somehow some way b/c I am not one of conspiracies but this all started to kick in the last month or so after his new hire from HuffPo…… Im just saying its an odd coincidence.
  
  I have tried to get hold of Blaze staff to no avail but this is wrong no one here is posting anything inciting violence, using vulgar words etc. There is no reason to be deleting peoples posts unless this site has been infiltrated by hackers or someone on the inside is deleting posts.

I do not post often, but recently have noticed one of my posts was there and then 30 minutes later it was gone! I, too, have noticed that some posts are rearranged when I go back to reference something I read!

  I am putting a Call to Action to all Blazers esp those with Insider Extreme membership to call the show and do everything possible to get the word to Glenn if not being able to speak to Glenn about it. Insider Extreme members bombard Jeff via the LiveFeed(?) with this issue that our posts are being deleted from this site for no reason. That in whole the majority are in NO VIOLATION of Section 8 in the Terms Of Use.
  
  Something is going on here it is NOT technical it is deliberate. IMO The Blaze has been either hacked or infiltrated on the inside at the admin level. I post all over the web I have never seen anything like this. I had a post on the Helen Thomas story removed, I commented something to the effect that wasnt she in a home, didnt a house fall on her or was a bucket of water thrown on her(alluding to her being wicked witch of the east). I posted the title and youtube link to a video about her……. the post DELETED! Someone pls tell me where there is a TOS violation in that when you have folks saying some of the rudest things on here, not to mention the attacks on Glenn?
  
  Again everyone having this problem or aware of it and have a problem pls do something and try contacting Becks show tomorrow morning. For now email Glenn, blaze staff, Glenns staff (Stu, Pat, Jeff, Joe, Sara) and bombard Glenns, and theirs, twitter account. If he sees enough of it or whomever manages it, it may finally get addressed ’cause something is definitely wrong.

  Notice how we didn’t see that picture on the liberal media shows. That was hilarious when Rush played the clips of the CNN guy trying to get the protestors to praise Obama.   I’m sure in Iran, people are carrying the same “Shame on Obama” signs. When you try to appease dictatorships, the people will hate you. The difference is that Persians are sick of Muslim indoctrination, and the majority of Egyptians have yet risen to that level.
  
  Lets face it. Persia was an original of civilization and the later Egyptians (Mizraim in Hebrew) were stupid-warmongering Hamites (descendants of Noah’s sociopathic son Ham). Its only from the Nubians (to their south) and the Hyksos (northern Kingdom of Egypt) that anything good stuck in Egypt.   Part of the Progressive (conquering thugs) rewriting of history is that the Egyptians built the LARGE pyramids. These are megalithic structures left from before the FLOOD.(These structures are scattered thoughout the world — Stonehenge, Baalbek in Lebanon, Maccu Piccu in Peru, pyramids in Mexico, etc)
  
  The Hamite-Egyptians SAID they built the pyramids, but ancient peoples were instructed to stay AWAY from the pre-flood structures. Only the Hamites maintained they built them. You don’t see Druids claiming they built Stonehenge, etc.
