Limbaugh Tries to Fix Golf Swing on New Season of ‘The Haney Project’

Golf swing coach Hank Haney has tutored some of the best golfers in the world (i.e. Tiger Woods). He’s also tutored some of the worst (i.e. Charles Barkley). Now he’s taking on one of the most political in the new season of his show “The Haney Project” — conservative opinion king Rush Limbaugh.
The show’s premise is for Haney to take a really bad golfer and turn him into a really good one. But as the tease for the show indicates, the new season‘s subject will only be successful if he doesn’t bring work to the golf course — that is, if Limbaugh becomes a listener and not just a talker:
“Hank’s biggest challenge while fixing Rush’s game may not be swing rhythm or mechanics, but simply getting a word in edgewise,” the show’s website says. “Tune in Tuesday nights to see if Limbaugh can move his commentary from the political arena to the tee box to lower his handicap.”

He is 82 and still playing and I wouldn’t trade anything for the opportunity to play a round with him. Those who have never hit a decent shot throw the first stones. That’ll give the unhinged Left all the more ammunition (oops) to blame the Right for what the Left (the dope-addled, occult-worshipping, Marxist-reading AZ shooter who murdered the sitting Republican federal judge and critically wounded a conservative Blue Dog Democrat who voted against Nancy Pelosi for speaker) does. I just hope Haney doesn’t say anything else that the Left will find provocative like, “take careful aim” or “that was a good hit”.

I used to think all that too. I’ve been listening for 3 years now… once you understand Rush, you get a lot of innuendos / jokes / references (some of which seem shallow, or make him seem uneducated) but there’s always an underlying reason. Usually in reference to something the media said.
Rush is a teddy bear.
