Listen to the Creepy Voicemails Jerry Sandusky Allegedly Left His Shower Victim: ‘I Love You’

Jerry Sandusky Voicemails to Victim 2

AP

(The Blaze/AP) — He was the victim whose horrific assault in the football team showers wound up costing Joe Paterno his job, severely tarnished Penn State’s image, and brought accusations of a cover-up by high-level university officials.

Law enforcement officials dubbed him Victim 2.

Until Thursday, the boy was a phantom, absent from last month’s trial of retired defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky and thought to be unknown to prosecutors. His identity was one of the biggest mysteries of the child sex abuse scandal.

Now, for the first time, a man has stepped forward to claim he was the boy in the shower, and his attorneys have promised to sue the university.

“Our client has to live the rest of his life not only dealing with the effects of Sandusky’s childhood sexual abuse, but also with the knowledge that many powerful adults, including those at the highest levels of Penn State, put their own interests and the interests of a child predator above their legal obligations to protect him,” the lawyers said in a news release.

Along with the statement, the lawyers released voicemails that Sandusky purportedly left for the man last fall – less than two months before his arrest on child-molestation charges – in which he expressed his love and asked whether Victim 2 would like to attend Penn State’s next game.

But that’s not all, as the Daily Mail explains:

‘I would be very firm and express my feelings up front. There’s nothing, really, to hide so…’ Sandusky says in a voicemail left for the alleged victim, now an adult, on September 12, 2011.

He ends with: ‘Take care, love you, hope you get this message.’

Sandusky called again September 19 and asks the man whether he wants to go to a Penn State Football game.

Again, the former coach ends the voicemail with ‘thanks, I love you.’

You can listen to them in the news report below:

The man’s lawyers said Thursday they have done an extensive investigation and gathered “overwhelming evidence” on details of the abuse by Sandusky, who was convicted of using his position at Penn State and as head of a youth charity to molest 10 boys over a period of 15 years.

They did not name their client, and The Associated Press generally does not identify victims of sex crimes without their consent.

Jurors convicted Sandusky last month of offenses related to Victim 2 largely on the testimony of Mike McQueary, who was a team graduate assistant at the time and described seeing the 2001 assault.

McQueary testified at Sandusky’s trial that he heard a “skin-on-skin smacking sound“ in a campus locker room and saw something that was ”more than my brain could handle” – a naked Sandusky standing behind the boy and slowly moving his hips. McQueary, one of the prosecution’s star witnesses, said he had no doubt he was witnessing anal sex.

McQueary reported the abuse to school officials, including Paterno, but none of them told police. An investigative report commissioned by the school’s board of trustees found that Paterno and other administrators concealed the attack because they were afraid of bad publicity.

Trustees fired Paterno, who has since died, because he failed to do more about claims against Sandusky. The NCAA this week fined Penn State $60 million, imposed a four-year bowl ban, reduced the number of football scholarships Penn State is allowed to offer, and vacated 112 of the team’s victories.

“Jerry Sandusky‘s abuse of Victim 2 and other children is a direct result of a conspiracy to conceal Sandusky’s conduct and the decisions by top Penn State officials that facilitated and enabled his access to victims,” the statement from Victim 2′s lawyers said. “We intend to file a civil lawsuit against Penn State University and others and to hold them accountable for the egregious and reckless conduct that facilitated the horrific abuse our client suffered.”

The statement also said that Victim 2 suffered “extensive sexual abuse over many years,” both before and after the 2001 assault.

But it left many questions unanswered, chief among them whether Victim 2 talked to prosecutors either before or during the trial – and, if not, why not.

The man’s lawyers said they would have no further comment, and several messages seeking comment from Sandusky’s lawyers were not returned.

Prosecutors had said on several occasions they did not know the identity of the boy, and they offered no reaction to the lawyers’ announcement Thursday.

“We can’t comment, given both our ongoing criminal prosecutions and our ongoing investigation,” said Nils Frederiksen, spokesman for the attorney general’s office.

The university said it was taking the case seriously but would not comment on pending litigation.

University President Rodney Erickson and the board of trustees, a school spokesman said, “have publicly emphasized that their goal is to find solutions that rest on the principle of justice for the victims.”

Sandusky deserves the death penalty…hopefully he will receive the same outcome in jail as Jeffrey Dahmer…would definitely MAKE my day.
The College deserves EVERYTHING it has gotten as far as the NCAA decision (though they should have totally shut down their football program as far as I am concerned given the huge coverup)
If there are other victims out there I hope they come forward.
I hope that all families and victims sue the daylights out of Penn State and they ALL get EVERY dime they ask for by their jury!!

Why, during all this Sandusky tragedy, hasn’t anyone used the word “Homosexual” to describe Sandusky? Wasn’t he performing homosexual acts on his victims?? Who was protecting who?

The terms “homosexual”, “gay”, “lesbian” are all politically correct terms for sexaul deviant. This coach was a deviant who happened to like his partners to be victims instead of a consenting but equally deviant participant. These are the people that are getting protection under the “bullying” fad going through congress and our schools. These are the folks that progressives want normalized and trusted to be with YOUR CHILDREN, and they are using YOUR TAX dollars to promote this abberant behavior as normal.

My friends… Hey!… California!… make sure you put the accomplishments of this homosexual in your school books!… After all, you want the kids taught all about Gay History, right?… Well, this piece of human waste and his molesting and raping of little boys, is now a part of Gay History!… and anyone in Pennsylvania or anywhere else that still supports Joe Paterno, the piece of crap that enabled a child molester, well, you can all go straight to Hell…

I am neither gay nor an activist for gay rights, but when I see flawed reasoning, I have to speak up. Sandusky’s action are no more a “part of gay history” than the millions of hetero rapists who rape children of the opposite sex are part of straight history. There are freaks of all varieties and none are exclusively representative of entire lifestyle choices.

Look at what one homosexual pedophile did to a University. He destroyed children’s lives. He destroyed the football program. He will cause them to give up millions of dollars. He turned proud Penn State University (PSU) into Pedophile state U. This damage will be done to the whole nation if we keep allowing these kinds of people to set our agenda.

I confess t feeling a little bit sorry for Joe Paterno, but he really did bring it on himself by deliberately concealing the crimes.

But it seems that the university itself has long had an integrity problem.

That institution is the academic home of one Professor Michael Mann, the climatologist and intellectually dishonest “hockey stick” graph proponent.

When the East Anglia emails (climategate) came out, Penn State felt obliged to “investigate” Professor Mann. Graham Spanier, the Penn State president who was forced to resign over Sandusky, was the same paragon who investigated Mann. As with Sandusky and Paterno, the college declined to find one of its star names guilty of any wrongdoing.

Perhaps the massive penalties imposed will initiate a long overdue cleanout of the Penn State administration.

GONZO, I’ve made probably more than my share of jokes about the man, and find him to be a despicable POS of a child molester. But, to put all jokes aside, he was probably recruited in a like manner by an adult homosexual child molester when he was at the similar age of his victims.

Sad thing is, pedophiles very seldom get a taste of prison inmate justice, because child abusers are usually kept isolated from the general population, for their own safety.

I read an article yesterday in which Sandusky’s wife still loves him and believes he is innocent because she never witness any of the “alledged” abuse in 46 years of marriage. That reminds me of the battered wife syndrome where women stay with their men and continue to be beaten and tortured. Oh he will change, and It wasn’t so bad. Every day we find more stories about mental health issues that affect our lives.

For a guy who was told he would never be head coach as PSU, he sure did a job on them. I’ve heard this phone call on the local news. Taken at face value it doesn’t prove much, but given what we know about Sandusky, it is creepy. But then I always thought there was something wrong with him from the first time I saw his picture.

We’ll see if any of that $60 million dollar fine goes to combat organized pedophiles such as NAMBLA. I wouldn’t hold your breath. Why is there not a big outcry to de-organize and de-legitimize organizations like NAMBLA. If pedophilia is a criminal act, then organizations seeking to promote and legitimize it should also be criminal. It makes no sense!

This is just further confirmation that most “atheletes” and coachs are just acting out their latent homosexuality. Forced grouping, isolation of the sexes, group nudity, and forced physical contact all come together to form an ideal setting for the expression of their repressed feelings. Much like the Catholic Church priest scandal, this issue will continue to grow as more and more coaches are exposed as pedophiles.

Me thinks you have such latent feelings. I highly doubt the pedophile coaches become so because of their coaching, I’m sure they start coaching because they are pedophiles. Being a coach, scout leader, youth leader, priest, is a great way for a pedophile to find new victims.

Listen to all of the male child actors who are now grown complain of the homosexual child predators are actually in Hollyweird. I believe it was Corey Feldman who discussed this some shortly after the death of Corey Haim. He still refused to name names saying those predators are still too powerful in Hollyweird.
