‘We Are Celebrating a Revolution’: Listen to Limbaugh’s Rousing July 4 Speech to Joplin, MO Residents

“Do you know what we’re celebrating today?” Rush Limbaugh asked the electric crowd. “We are celebrating a revolution. We are celebrating the most unique revolution in the history of humanity.”

That’s how Rush began his rousing speech to residents of the tornado-ravaged town of Joplin, MO yesterday. He continued to talk about how America is not a country “chosen” by God but rather “blessed” by God. And, as the blog Reboot Congress describes, he also tackled American exceptionalism:

Rush delivered a message about American Exceptionalism that focused on the uniqueness of our country’s founding 235 years ago. He spoke of the importance of freedom as well as America’s tradition of helping those in need.

In addition to his comments, Rush arranged for a truckload of his new brand of bottled tea, Two If by Tea, to be delivered to the crowd. I tried the rasberry tea and thought it was quite good.

I never used to listen to this guy before ,I used to think maybe he was a right, religious man who preached alot. Well he is a “right”man and a preacher but it is of freedom that he preaches and America is his religion. This man is a true defender of this great Lady Liberty and should be knighted by the king and Queen of the USA, who are America’s citizens alone.

Great Speech ..But, I will have to disagree with Rush on one thing ..This Nation ..This Republic… is a Choice Nation ..Chosen by God …If we truly understand the History of this Great Nation we would understand this … God chose this land …he brought who he need to bring here so, that He would guide them in establishing this Great Nation and Republic… This Beacon of Hope to the World ..The Founding Fathers were guided by Him…But, as we have forgotten or brushed aside God … this Nation ..this Republic has been losing the Protection from on High..we are all at fault for this… we need to stop being or calling ourselves Republicans, Independents, Democrats ..etc etc and start calling ourselves Americans …we are under condemnation from God ..and unless we turn back to what made this Nation Great … and that is seeking the Guidance from God… being Humble before Him… returning to Prayer for His Protection… Living our lives in accordance to His Statutes and Commandments ..unless we do this we will lose this Republic and all the Freedoms we have… We need to seek and follow God’s counsel, wisdom, guidance, protection…Wake Up America …and Yes….Please God, Bless America … !!!

What a refreshing tone in total opposite of the normal anti-American diatribe we hear from the left.

I watched a re-run comic ~2004 on Comedy Central the other night. A typical leftist whining about how America had taken advantage of the African-Americans, the Indians, and the Mexicans. Then he went on to whine about Bush having a $400 Billion dollar deficit.

    Where are those hypocrites now?

This is why we hear about class warfare its misdirection on what they are in fact trying to do!

He didn’t mention the tea in his speech, but even if he had, what is the problem. He gave the people something for free, showed them honor and respect, and lifted their spirits when they needed a life. Almost every parade or public gathering like this has companies that sell (not give) their products and provide goods and services or entertainment. I don’t see a problem with that. If it bothers anyone, they don‘t have to attend or don’t need to take the free tea or listen to Rush’s speech.

Good ‘ol Rush again, telling the truth… Like how great America is. The freedom of the individual (Re:the conservative favoritism of plutocratic and corporate centralization of power) The history of the world is oppression, dungeons (not true, many society’s have experienced equal or greater freedom and happiness than America). A country blessed by God (lol) We liberate people from tyranny (until we force our puppet dictators and high-interest loans upon them), equality of opportunity (for white, english speaking, agreeably stupid people).
The reason most people get so frustrated when you people claim self-reliance and individual hard-work as characteristics unique to the republican, tea party movement, is because you fail to realize how much you depend on the state. We all chip in to fund roads, rails, and parks; air, water, and food to be clean and up-kept yet the people you support want to deem these processes unnecesary. It’s some sort of psychological “mommy I can do it all by myself” disorder. They stoke the fires of threats from abroad so they can continue to collect Boeing checks. They promote the mythical rise to riches without making clear that poverty is a guaranteed side-effect. The reason Americans get so mad at Limbaugh fans and Beck followers is that WE CAN SEE YOU BEING TRICKED FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS while “the necessities of the many are traded for the luxuries of the few”. Did he give away the tea? So it was not about getting the audience to buy it. And what if he does want people to buy it? Liberals think everything in the world should be free all the time. “From each according to his ability; to each according to his need” does not work because it does not help us to figure out how to allocate resources. No one can know how to do that. Turns out the most efficient way ever to be devised to allocate resources is putting a price on them. Everybody down the line gets compensated. When it works it is a thing of beauty. Sure it can get bolloxed up, but not as badly as when government bureaucrats try to allocate resources from their offices in the capital city.

No matter which direction you’re coming from in this argument, you’re a total moron.

      A. The tea he had trucked in was free to the people of Joplin. He wasn’t selling it to them.

      B. I seriously doubt the most listened to man on all of radio did this because he needed publicity for free publicity for his company, you’re a complete moron. He has all the free pub he needs in that he’s Rush Freaking Limbaugh.

      C. **GASP** How DARE that Capitalist promote his product!

What fools the Left are sometimes… SMH.

This is known as a typical comment by a typical liberal who through lack of hope, courage and faith sees the world through cynicism. This is the empty soul of a hopeless little person always seeing others as being sneaky. Lost souls like this one only trust those that give them free stuff and they refer to them as comrades. It’s sad really.
