‘Little Bodies’: Four Barrels Holding 248 Fetuses Found in Russian Woods (Graphic)

Villagers in Russia’s south Urals have stumbled upon a gruesome discovery — four barrels containing 248 human fetuses left in a forest.

“A friend called at night and said he went fishing and wanted to get some wood for his fire,” local resident Sergei Tveritinov said to a state television channel, according to Reuters. “He ran into some water canisters and wanted to take them home, but when he came closer he saw little baby bodies.”

Police in the Sverdlovsk region said Tuesday the fetuses, preserved in formaldehyde, were kept in barrels with tags containing surnames and numbers.

Police suspects that one of the four local hospitals is responsible for dumping the barrels.

The fetuses were found a few miles away from a highway linking the region’s capital, Yekaterinburg, with another big city, Nizhny Tagil near the Ural Mountains.

Reuters reports deputy head of the regional government, Vladimir Vlasov, saying on state television that a company responsible for the “bio-medical waste did not carry out its duties” of disposing of it properly.

Ria Novosti has more:

“I hope that the Investigation Committee will establish where this happened: in what residential area, in which hospital and who organized these criminal activities,” Batalina, who is the First Deputy Chair of Duma’s Women, Family and Children Committee, told Izvestia.

“And then, Duma deputies and the Health Ministry should draw the necessary conclusions and hold an investigation of their own, and establish why this became possible and what should be done to prevent the killings of unborn children at a legal level,” Batalina said.

The Daily Mail reports the way the fetuses were found is not in line with standard disposal practice of the “hazardous waste” in Russia either. It also notes it is not common practice to label embryos to be disposed of. One theory is that they were part of medical research, such stem cell research.

      embryos? The picture above is not of embryos in anyway. It is of relatively mature fetuses. sick is sick no matter what you call it or label it….disgusting. Poor babies.

      When I hear exclamations like those of “BATTLES” and “DETROIT PAPERBOY”, I think: “Thank goodness, American women don’t do abortions!”
      And those almost 50 Million babies killed in the USA in recent years were not American, but Russian (a special transportation delivery of murdered babies was evidently arranged)
      ……………..
      Hmmmm….

      Thank God, not all Americans rush to use any chance to kick Russians in the butt..

      White Russian babies thrown into the trash.

      Putin is trying to encourage Russian women to have more children for if they don’t in 20 years Russia will no longer have enough young men to defend the nation. Putin must begin to build private homes with back yards to encourage couples to have children. Who the hell wants to raise a family in a reinforced concrete monolith apartment with no grass parks or privacy. Putin is college educated in the West, speaks English and should know better. Let Russians own property and he will solve all this problems and become a hero. Peter the Great made Russia European, Putin must make Russia more like America.

    When I look at my two beautiful grown daughters and my two grandchildren – I cannot think of a moment in their existence that they were not worth embracing. My mom had a “choice” 65 years ago when advised that she was in danger of dying of she carried me to term. She was brave enough to say my life was worth the risk. We both lived although I was extremely premature.
    Our hope is to support anyone who works to overthrow R v W, such as Rand Paul.

      I have been thinking of what has really changed our country over the past 50 years or so. I mean just what happened that caused so many people to believe that they can freeload off the income of the workers? I came up with 3 items that are almost gone in todays world.
      1)The work ethic. Nobody wants to work anymore. They think everything should be free from the rich or the government.
      2)Personal responsibility. Today… anything that happens is somebody else fault.
      3)Morality is gone. We through God out of our lives. God represents the moral life. With the 60′s came the saying “If it feels good, do it”.

      The answer is to do away with 90% of the federal government and abolish the welfare state. If you don’t work… you don’t eat. That is not to say that there a small number that truly need help and that should come from private charity.

    These are little people, perhaps not fully developed but little people nonetheless, the same kind of little people who are aborted every day. Some women don‘t fully realize the horror of abortion and some don’t care for selfish reasons. Anyone considering abortion should take a long, hard look at this photo and think about the value of every human life, not just her own.

    Disposal of hazardous “waste”…get that, how far this society has fallen, that it calls obviously third term babies, “waste”?     The conversion of Russia to the Lady of Fatima never took place and still hasn’t. We were warned and asked to pray for this by the Holy Mother Mary and this message has gone unheeded.We are no less godless in this nation. We’re just more careful and sterile about it. And the U.S. Supreme Court says it’s ok and legal. What could have been with those innocent Russian babies? What could have been for 46 million innocent American babies? God be merciful.

      Russia is a godless nation? The USSR might have been, but most estimates put believers in Russia at over 80% today. Orthodox Christianity is legally part of their historical heritage.
