I heard it said that the TEAParty voted Romney in Illinois. TEAParty would not vote for another McCain. The TEAParty was co-oppted by the R’s a long time ago, I said it two years ago and I’m saying it now. Illinois screwed us and we will remember. Thats not a TEAParty state.
___________
True. No self respecting Tea Party would vote for Romney. Illinois is so far left – it is not surprising they voted for Romney – especially all the democrats who voted for Romney since this was an open forum.
I hope Gringrich, Paul and Santorum drag the Rinos all the way to Tampa. I am so disgusted by this whole primary and Fox trashing the candidates while genuflecting to Romney. I cannot wait to get my absentee ballet so I can vote for ANYONE but Romney. I am even thinking of voting for Obama just to throw the bird at the Republican Party for giving us Romney – a progressive worse than McCain. Whether Romney or Obama wins or loses – WE LOSE

It is not manly. I would have voted for Newt but he shot himself in the foot by letting his temper get the best of him. If you want to be President then be ready to roll with the punches and Romney seems to be quite agile in that; department. The Tea Party is a large groups of like minded conservatives that doesn’t mean we filter everything we hear the same way. We weren’t cut out of only one mold. Oh, and you going to vote for Obama really shows what you are as a person, if you don’t get your way. Must be for Santorum.

Romneycide
A GOP engineered, Romney coronation will forever be known as “Romneycide”
Isn’t it funny how so many people who are tired of the same old thing, go for the same old thing election after election
Romney = ObamaLITE
37 reasons why conservatives will not support OBOMNEY.
1 Both civility hypocrites. After scorch earthing 10 to 1 outspending his Republican opponents with negative ads before every election, Romney calls for civility (knowing his opponents don’t have the money to scorch earth him back and winking at his super packs)
2 Both have “Putin” arrogant moments (show their chests off for publicity to proof their virility. Remember Obama bare chested on the beach. Here’s Romney

3 Both have poor job creation records

4 Both are Non-Christians.
5 Both raised by wealthy care givers and both went to private schools
6 Both have polygamous fathers and grandfathers (Muslim/Mormon)

http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/news/regions/americas/united-states/120131/mitt-romneys-great-grandfather-fled-mexico-pract
8 Both are not steeped in the American culture. Obama was raised for 5 years in a foreign country Muslim Indonesia. Romney was exposed to his polygamous Mexican Mormon compound (like that Texas compound) where his family hid for generations and still does from USA federal anti-polygamy laws.
9 Both had radical strange fathers
9a Obama’s father was thrown out of Harvard and the USA back to Kenya because he married yet another woman (Ruth) (his 3rd wife).
9b Romney’s great grandfather was DRIVEN out of the USA into Mexico because he would be arrested on federal charges of polygamy if they returned. That is why Romney’s father and grandfather were both born in Mexico.

10 Both are disqualified to be president because their fathers were citizens of a foreign country. “The US Supreme Court definition of an Article 2 Section 1 natural-born citizen as stated in Minor v Happersett is strictly limited to those persons born in the United States to parents who were citizens.” See item 10 to see media black out bought and paid for

11 Both BOUGHT and PAID for media to cheer lead and/or media blackout negative news for them. Everyone knows about NBC and Obama. But no one knows about Romney.
11a Premiere Radio Network, which is a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications. Clear Channel Communications owns not only many talk radio stations (like Rush Limbaugh), but also many billboards around the country. In 2008 Clear Channel Communications was bought by Bain Capital, which was founded by anti-Birther and GOP 2008/2012 Presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. World Net Daily and Corsi were both refused commercial time on any Clear Net Channel media to talk about Obama’s INELIGIBLIBITY to be president. Why? Because the same reason Obama is disqualified – so is Mitt Romney.

Another people people have GOT to understand, is that Republicans from the north eastern coastal states/cities, are NOT and NEVER will be like Republicans from the mid-west, and the south. Different mindsets in each area. Republicans out here in New York, and in Massachusetts- aren’t big pushers of social issues. They’re all for the free market, and lower taxes- but they are NOT social conservatives.
I also cannot stand how worked up people are getting over his healthcare, and Romney has explained it beautifully actually. What he did in Massachusetts was/is favored by MOST of the residents of Massachusetts as the polls show. However as Romney said, that‘s a STATE’S thing, you do not impose such a thing on the entire bloody nation like Obama has- you cannot. So when he says he’s going to repeal it- I do believe him, because such a thing cannot work for the entire country economically, or care wise.
What is liked, and works for Massachusetts; may not work or be favored by people in Pennsylvania, or Ohio- which is why it should be up to the STATES to decide what is best healthcare wise.

McCain beat Romney with the help of the media. Keep in mind, back then, we was the darling of the media! The ‘rebel’ or ‘maverick’ as he was often heralded. And we were also told then, by the media, that he was a ‘middle of the road’ kind of guy. People that are not into politics read headline and then the first 3 lines, or believe what they are told by the media. The minute he got the nod, the media RIPPED him apart…
Now, is Romney my choice? No, not really. I’m a Paul Ryan kind of guy. But I think it‘s a fact now that he’s going to get the nod. I know people don’t want to hear it, but it’s going to happen. Now my question to you would be, do you want 4 more of Obama, or do you want to give this guy a shot? Not sure where you fall under the political spectrum, but there is no freaking way I could pull the lever for Obama. He had his chance, he failed. (Really bad) But, it‘s only a nation and it’s future… I’ll roll the dice on Romney, you do what you must…

Posted on March 20, 2012 at 9:40pmAh its quite different, first off McCain was a crappy candidate- he was ahead of Obama late in the election- and was set to beat him- however he did things that solidified his craptacular handling of his campaign; which then pushed Obama ahead- who looked like a leader when the financial crisis happened- and McCain didn’t have much to say about it, and reportedly shrugged his shoulders when asked about the issue.
On top of that, it was just time for a Democrat to win; it seems to work that way- so it wasn’t a surprise Obama won.
The issue again is the economy, Romney is a straight up business man; and would no doubt handle the economy better than Obama has been trying to do. I don’t hate Obama or anything, but what he’s trying to do economically, isn’t based in the real world, and will only make things worse- which would then set us on the path that Europe, and the UK are on…. Not good. Liberal economics never work- and it never works because true Liberalism has never had anything to do with economics- just personal freedoms.
Romney will beat Obama if….
1. He says or does nothing stupid.
2. Gets support of all Republicans and Conservatives.

People who get paid to do as they are told. Don’t you understand that this election process has been rigged. Maine, NH dead people voting, SC Dead people voting. Paul really won Iowa. Now you got the GOP breaking rules during the caucus. It is corruption. If you don’t stand up for your rights, than you deserve what is coming. Obama is not the problem, he is the Puppet. And Romney will have strings connected to his arms TOO!

Posted on March 20, 2012 at 9:53pmYeah, I wish Santorum would drop out as well. I don’t like him really.
I’m only Conservative when it comes down to fiscal and national security issues. Its all based in common sense, and works very damn well when followed. I do believe in god, and yes I do believe family is important- however I don’t like politicians like Santorum. He comes across as too judgmental- too willing to get involved in the personal lives of people… He also seems stuck in the 50′s, like many other Republicans- which needs to be changed.
I’m just simply not a social Conservative, and cannot stand social Conservatism. I believe in the free market- I like common sense economic and national security handling. I believe in god, and I believe houses of worship should get more involved in their communities- and the presidents can and have encouraged that in the past.
I also know some people who are gay- they are good people, not crazy left-wing god hating activist- and are Conservative as I am. They don’t wish to change the definition of marriage- they just want to be able to have their union respected, and I believe they should have that. People like Santorum push them away- and others who feel as I do.

Posted on March 20, 2012 at 8:23pmanother primary state, probably another “victory” for mitt romney. Mitt romney, the guy who wins states with only 35-40% of the vote. Conservatives will againt split the vote three ways tonight – easily paving the way for romney to win more delegates. Also, another primary in which romney outspends the next guy by 7 to 1.
It is obvious mitt is struggling with most republicans, which is not a good sign for november

Posted on March 20, 2012 at 8:31pmRomney has won over 50% of the delegates thus far with 3 other contenders. I believe that is the ultimate requirement to be nominated.
I think Ron Paul is great, but he just isn’t going to win. The game is rigged against him.

Report Post »lets see how romney does against either santorum OR gingrich – then you can celebrate. Yes, he has over half the delegates, but you dont understand how the delegates are awarded. For instance, last week in the south he got 30% of the vote but almost half the delegates. The reason is that all the liberal city republicans vote for him and he gets those congressional districts…However, if either santorum or gingrich was not there, they would have gotten over 50% of the vote and ALLLLLL of the delegates

Of course I understand how they are awarded, as does Romney. His campaign is geared towards winning delegates, whereas Santorum is still trying to win fruitless states for momentum.
“However, if either santorum or gingrich was not there, they would have gotten over 50% of the vote”
That is a preposterous claim, one which could never be verified.
In fact, if Gingrich does drop out, it will only increase the likelihood that Romney would get more delegates.

You can’t just say, “well if one drops out, the other will get ALL of his votes.” That is ridiculous. A few would vote for Romney, and a lot more won’t vote at all. It is impossible to determine what the outcome would have been.
