Violent rioting Saturday night left 26 London police officers injured, after a peaceful protest over a fatal officer-involved shooting devolved into a fiery rampage.
Businesses, police cars and a double-decker bus were torched as between 300 and 500 people descended upon north London’s Tottenham area, looting and clashing with officers while demanding “justice” for Mark Duggan. Police said 46 were arrested, according to the Associated Press.
Duggan’s family condemned the rioting. Police sources last week described Duggan, a father of four, as a “gangster,” something his brother Shaun Hall strongly denied.
“There should be someone here putting our minds at rest about what happened,” Hall told London’s Sky News. “He’s not some type of gangster. He’s a family man.”
British media said that an officer involved in the shooting had a bullet lodged in his radio, suggesting a gunfight, but other details were scarce. Hall said his sibling would never shoot at police.
“That’s ridiculous,” he told Sky.
As the rioting escalated Saturday, protestors lit up social networking sites, trying to spur others to join them.
One user calling himself ‘English Frank’ urged attacks on the police, saying: ‘Everyone up and roll to Tottenham f*** the 50 [police]. I hope 1 dead tonight.’
And in a clear incitement to looting, ‘Sonny Twag’ tweeted: ‘Want to roll Tottenham to loot. I do want a free TV. Who wudn’t.’
‘Mrs Lulu’ tweeted: ‘Brehs [men] asking who’s down to roll [go] Tottenham right now, to get justice. – RIP Mark x.’
A tweet apparently passed on by chart-topping rapper Chipmunk, who comes from Tottenham, paid tribute to the dead man: ‘R.I.P Mark Duggan a real straight up and down respected man. LOVE!!!!!!!!’
Joining in the Twitter frenzy, ‘Ashley AR’ tweeted: ‘I hear Tottenham’s going coco-bananas right now. Watch me roll.’
Prime Minister David Cameron strongly condemned the violence and on Sunday the Scotland Yard police commander Stephen Watson described it as “distressing.”
“What we experienced earlier on yesterday evening was a peaceful protest outside Tottenham police station — there was no indication it would deteriorate in this way. For those who involved themselves in this level of violence, there is no excuse,” Watson said.

Posted on August 7, 2011 at 2:54pmI watched several videos of these “riots” and the vast majority of the rioters were DNSL types (Don’t Need Suntan Lotion)…all in all, it was just an excuse to trash other peoples property who actually work for a living, and to steal things not coverd y their various entitlements.
Follow my lead…Create a GHB (get home bag) ASAP and include in it a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 in either 40S&W or 9MM (Glock mags so they can interchange with your pistol). This rifle is allocated and hard to get. It folds in half for storage. Folded it measures barely 16″ and fits neatly into most backpacks, 3 day assault packs and so on. You’ve prepared your homes…now prepare your GHB so you can get home safely!

The armed suspect, Dejon Marquee White, 23, was tracked down by police after the attack Saturday and shot to death by officers as he tried to avoid arrest. Investigators said they have no motives for the shooting of the police officer. White wrote a two-page suicide note discovered at his apartment, but it didn’t say how he was going to kill himself or why, according to police.

I couldn’t agree more. There are more serious situations converging right now than at anytime in the history of this country.
We’re being warned about them by many people who are experts in their fields. Most, like Glenn,
have to be careful with their wording so as not to draw too much fire for inciting people, but what they say is VERY clear to those who are bright enough to understand. And the warnings to “prepare for a situation never before seen in our lifetimes” underlines the seriousness of what will probably occur in the very near future.
Right now we need to be watching Europe, because just one single country going belly up will have tremendous repercussions here and those repercussions here, in turn, will have an echo effect throughout the world. When the worst starts, it will be the beginning of a domino effect. After that, things will move with amazing rapidity, one right after the other.
“Lock and load” has never been as apropos as it is now.

There is where you will find that the man killed was a gangster who shot a policeman and was then shot and killed by the police.
Why is the news media not being truthful to the people?
Why did the Wisconsin news reporter on FOX Channel 6 News not report there were 400-500 black youths attacking only white people? Not once did that reporter mention these attacks were racially motivated & specifically the white people were the victims & black youths were the attackers! & now they report there is a new rule in place that prohibits anyone under 18 years of age from entering the state fair without being accompanied by an adult, so that means all the youths have to pay the consequence for those black youths’ criminal actions!
Akron, OH Police still don’t feel they can call a July 4, 2010 black gang attack on a white family sitting in their lawn a “hate crime”. Even though the youths were screaming that this is now a black man’s world among other racial slurs. The attack put the father of the family in the hospital with head injuries.
Is there a law that states it’s okay for minorities to attack white people & news reporters aren’t allowed to report it?
