Los Angeles OKs $1,000-Fine for Throwing Frisbees & Footballs at the Beach

Los Angeles OKs $1,000 Fine for Throwing Frisbees & Footballs at the Beach

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a $1,000 fine for tossing footballs or Frisbees on the beach during the summer. (Image source: Flickr user nigeyb)

Heading to an LA beach this summer? Better leave the footballs and Frisbees at home.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday agreed to raise the fine for playing ball on the beach to $1,000.

In a 37-page ordinance, the county board specified precisely what is and is not allowed on LA beaches during the summertime — and any object other than a beach ball or volleyball is out, KCBS-TV reported. Throwing a football or a Frisbee was already considered illegal beach activity, but the board’s move upped the fine for violations to a whopping $1,000.

“It is unlawful for any person to cast, toss, throw, kick or roll any ball, tube, or any light object other than a beach ball or beach volleyball upon or over any beach” between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the ordinance states.

Exceptions to the rule allow for ball-playing only in designated areas or if a person obtains a permit beforehand. Playing with a water polo ball is still allowed, as long as it’s in the ocean.

The ball-playing restrictions won’t be enforced in the off-season between September and May.

And it’s not just Frisbees you need to watch out for: You better keep an eye on your kids’ shovels and pails as well. According to the restrictions, no person may dig a hole in the sand deeper than 18 inches, except when permission is given for film and TV production purposes.

I wonder when they will pass the fine for fat people in bathing wear? When I saw a sign in San Francisco that said drinking a beer on the beach was 500 bucks and smoking a cigarette was 1000 dollars, I wondered, how in the hell did that happen Nancy Pelosi? Of course the guy on the beach smoking pot where I could smell it, he was OK…its for medicinal use only you know…..

Frisbee, digging holes in the sand and throwing a football is kind of a white male sport, you dont see alot of homosexuals or minorities partaking in these events, and beach volley ball is allowed because the voyeurs that wrote this bill enjoy the view and it helps them with there little blue pill problem.

In 1871 The United States became a Corporation.

In 1912 the Corp. went to the Global Elite (banksters) for a “loan”

In 1913 the “federal reserve act” was passed. Income tax law in ALL states then. and Gold could NOT be Redeemed at banks for currency or vice-versa.

The federal reserve is no more federal than FEDERAL EXPRESS !

In 1933 the “Emergency Banking Act” was passed.
“Corp U.S.” defaulted on the loan and declared bankruptcy.

The “Gov’t” gave the PRIVATE federal reserve bank all of it’s gold to absolve the debt.
      It was not enough.

Under emergency powers and martial law demanded citizens turn in their gold.
      It was not enough.

The “Corp U.S.” Pledged it’s GOVERNMENT Branches and Agencies, IT’S LAND, and IT PEOPLE as COLLATERAL to the PRIVATE BANK for that bankruptcy.

Birth certificates became law in all states in 1933 and Social Security in 1936.
These are Security bonds for the receivers of the bankruptcy to hold under a International lien.

They told the banksters you would pay a percentage of your LIFES EARNINGS towards the debt and insolvency of 1933.

In 1944, the Lien was transfered to the IMF which created the United Nations the next year.

They have been holding the lien ever since, and turned our Country into a literal Corporation.

In 1992 NAFTA, AGENDA 21 and Executive Order 12803 – The INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATIZATION ACT was born.

How do we resist? We can speak but are ignored in our Home Owner Associations, City Council meetings, all the way up to our “Reps” and Senators. We can’t possibly follow all the laws…just like in a corporation. It’s set up that way on purpose to have total control over those that do try to follow the law. I’m all ears. I can’t find a militia, let alone a non-racist group in SoCal.

Didn‘t matter that I did the work of 3 people and did the GM’s job better than he did. Holding the carrot forever without the payoff.

I suggested to the LA County Board of Supervisors that they also throw people in jail who do not pass the mandatory sunscreen inspection prior to entering the Gov’t beaches. After all, those folks will drive up the cost of our mandatory Obamacare. And I’m sure that those frisbee playing scoundrels deliberately pick off hundreds of innocent beachgoers each year with accurate head shots. My only hope is that those picked off are democrats.

Here‘s how it’s going down, BAP- exercise creates heavy breathing, heavy breathers emit more CO into the atmosphere… CO in the atmosphere is bad bad bad… therefore, it’s a green weenie thing the tree huggers decided to eliminate. One way to do that is prevent people from exercising, despite being fit uses less O2 and emits less CO. (Also, kicking sand around while playing sports on the beach is environmentally unfirendly because it’s disturbing the wetlands area, which we all know beaches are.)
Next on the tree huger agenda is eliminating bicycling, roller blading, skateboards, jogging, walking, swimming (in public waters), football (except in pro sports on Tv), baseball (see exception in football), tennis…
The list on how they want to control our lives is endless. All it takes is imagination.

In addition to huge entitlements that administration brought, VISA and MasterCard became available to the average household. Prior to that you had DinersClub and CarteBlanc which were widely used only by corporate execs for expense purposes. People bought sometimes on layaway and didn’t take the product home until they had paid in full. Moms started to go to work to help pay the CC bills while they were sold female liberation. I used to love living here. I literally can’t recognize where we are now. We used “live” at the beach. There’s no more free parking, the meters have all skyrocketed, the annual passes have skyrocketed, beach communities themselves are all corporate stores, houses & building are all 2-3 stories high, ocean visibility is scarce, access limited, still trash in the sand. Everybody is tattooed. We’ve found pot & crack pipes on the beach a few times, condoms, liquor bottles/beer cans. So much for the liberal agenda for keeping it nice for everybody.

We’re not liberal at all. We do try to capture the Beach Boys fantasy a bit sometimes.

For some unknown reason God is keeping us here. I hate the graffitti, open drug dealing on the streets, prostitutes all down Beach Blvd, all the business signs in foreign languages. I don’t know where we are, but it isn’t the America I remember or dream of.

Nerf balls are deadly. Maybe that is why you need a permit. What if you toss your girlfriend the bottle of SPF3000? Will they stun gun you or just shoot you dead?

HA! I did throw tortillas at a car full of wannabe gang guys. My wife was driving (pregnant) down a steep narrow road nearby. They kept getting too close, flashing their lights. I flung my leftover tortillas out the window & got their windshield. I had her stop & I got out. They didn’t get out or roll their windows all the way down. Guess I was lucky. The tortillas all had a rough day.

The comment about giving Mexifornia back is not unreasonable in our climate. I’m ready to jump in the San Andreas myself. I understand all the hate for Californians, seriously, I do. My wife & I have voted against all these (*********************************************************) for years without result.

We can‘t afford to move and wouldn’t know where to go if we could. We’ve made decisions to care for family instead of our own needs. Now I’m disabled. Now we’re screwed.

But, yes, CA is a cess pool at best. I don’t see any difference between this state and the U.S. government though. You folks may want to think about that while your states are going down the tubes without their rights intact.

      No place is safe anymore.

In addition to all those activites don’t forget “drive by shootings” if there is the steady beat of rap in the background. You can also cook meth, pedal crack, setup your own campsite (if you are homeless and you smell bad). The occupy vermin can urinate and defficate on the beach just for a statement.

If they were really worried about protecting children, they would ban Speedos on fat guys. An to be an equal opportunity offender, some woman should not be allow out in bikinis.

I was also told that if I offend someone and follow it by the phrase “bless their little souls” all is forgiven; so here goes “BLESS THEIR LITTLE SOULS”

I have always wondered the same thing. Who is voting in these crazy local politicians that come up with this stuff? Why are the citizens who live there not speaking up? I think local politicians are just as bad as those in the state or federal government. At the local level the just eat away one little freedom after another and NO ONE stops them.

I just heard a sound bite where a woman says she thinks it’s a great new law, because it means safety for her children. My guess is that this woman also keeps her kids from walking due the number of injuries that could occur if said child trips. I wouldn’t doubt that in California she could win a neglegence lawsuit against her city if said child scratches his/her knee on the public sidewalk.

Still waiting for the Big One. California falls into the ocean…problem solved.
