The Great Hive or socialism if you will will never be successful or popular. If you ask a communist on tv what he thinks about his country he will say he loves it and it’s the best ever. If you ask him the same thing in private you will undoubtedly hear a different story. In socialism, everyone is NOT equal. It’s just a dictatorship with a pretty name. You protect a fetus and just don’t forget about it when it takes its first breath. Same goes for Elders, we need to take care or our elders. Healtcare is just not a right for Politicians, Union Workers, Federal Employees, Vets….but for all US citizens.

I see you are suffering from the typical liberal mental disorder. You don’t know the difference between a right and a responsibility. Having someone else pay for your health care is not a right. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure you have health care coverage, not mine. Just like it is not my responsibility to make sure you have housing, food, heat, an education, or anything else you want or need. Maybe you will be able to figure that out after 2012 and the liberals find themselves out of power and having to live like the majority of the country, by providing for themselves. There is no such thing as a free lunch, or free health care.

Posted on October 4, 2011 at 10:32amIn 1932 my grandpa walked 2 miles each way to a back-breaking job paying 10cents an hour & was thankful he had work. He & grandma had 3 sons under the age of 10 and both sets of their parents living with them. 9 people on $12 month. They paid $5 month rent for a 4 room house with a cook stove, no running water or electricity & were thankful they had a place to live
Not much left for food, clothes, medicine for two of their parents etc. Every other day my grandma & the oldest two boys walked up & down the railroad tracks picking up coal & dried corn that bounced out of the rail cars. She would grind the corn into meal. Most times the coal chunks were the only source of fuel. Occasionaly friends sent them butter, eggs etc from the farm – getting a chicken was a red-letter day
And my grandparent’s never turned anyone away. Not a hobo, not a family, nobody. They shared what they had and were thankful they could. They never stood in bread lines, they never expected the government to take care of them. Not out of pride but because they were getting by and believed “there’s someone who needs it more”
My mama was born in 1939. Life was better but not by much. She’s always said she had it easy
They raised their children who in turn raised their children with the same values & work ethic. I’m thankful to be their grandchild & have raised my kids the same way
Not holding up my family as saints, just illustrating how times & attitudes have changed

What if I cant eat because I have no job and I become malnourished Is it my right to have free food.
What if I have no shelter and become sick because I’m exposed to the elements is it my right to have a free shelter or a home
What If I cant afford clothes and become ill from the cold. Is it my right to have free clothes.
What if I cant afford heat in my home and my children and I become sick due to winter conditions. Is it my right for free heat
If this is in fact true then I should be marching in NYC cause thats exactly what they want. Or am I to understand that your so called rights are limited based on your opinion or are things such as housing, clothes, food and heat (all fall into health care one way or another) are the right of all Americans and we can find this in the constitution on page??????????????????

Every industrialized country including Israel, Japan, Germany has single payer. Everyone pays and there is no free ride. Do not let the Corporate Healthcare Industrial Complex let you think otherwise. Healthcare costs in America is the biggest cause of personal bankruptcy. At least 3 out of 5 Blazers will be bankrupted due to medical costs before they reach the age of 65. The average premium for basic coverage for a family of 4 is $13,000. Your employer will eventually shift that burden to you. The biggest reason why there are so few entrepreneurs is the crushing cost of healthcare. Something needs to be done. Obamacare has not addressed the problem.

To see where this leads when unconfronted, these declarations by people such as Ms. Hess, look at Cuba. An elitist, demanding-and-violent crowd made Ms. Hess’s demands and look at the results in Cuba: “everyone” lives in borderline hovels or somewhat better, no jobs other than what are doled out or assigned by the “high committee” of dictator-rule, if anyone objects they‘re imprisoned for life or they’re executed without trial (their views already known, executed for their views of wanting to figure their lives independently of dictator-rule), the “health care” they “receive” is truly abhorrent when anything beyond an aspirin is needed…Ms. Hess’s ideas/demands as spoken in the video represent an insistence on reducing civilization to some sort of lower echelon of non-achievement where individuals can’t do for or on their own but instead insist they be provided for (and then they aren‘t when the process runs it’s course, as in Cuba and other places like Ms. Hess expects we become).

You all say it is your responsibility to get healthcare, okay based on that premise then let me give yo a scenario and you tell me how a responsible hardworking can get healthcare when he is over forty and has “pre-existing conditions” Anything from high blood pressure, to a past sorts injury. How do you get past that hurdle genius. Okay then let’s say you want to start a business and be responsible and you are face with a 1200.00 monthly insurance premium. Okay then you decide I will take my chances and not purchase insurance and something happens, well guess what you the taxpayer are now on the hook.

You want single payer move to Europe. The biggest problem with Health insurance is that it isn’t insurance at all. Does your auto insurance pay for tires and an oil change? Doctor visits should be paid for by the individual as with many aspects of the health care system should be based on the consumer, not how much an insurance company will pay for the service. The only health insurance should be catastrophic and hospitalization. The Government needs to get out of the health care business all together and put the responsibility back on the patient receiving the service, not an insurance company or a bureaucracy. Just like social security, medicare is a Ponzi scheme we are forced into thought up by a liberal.

Jobs are largely created by two entities: companies/corporations and government
Most people (including the middle-class you mention) work for some company/corporation either directly or indirectly.
Those working for government are being paid by the taxes levied on the other group. As government grows disproportionally it needs more money from that first group – it has no other way to generate revenue.
So when you start wailing about those evil corporations and what they’re doing to the middle-class stop for a moment and consider: do you have a viable alternative? There’s not enough money in the collective coffers of Wall Street to fund the pipe dream of free health-care and free housing for all – particularly when we‘re not even trying to plug our porous borders and more and more of the world’s disaffected pour in with their hands out…
“Mean Rich People Hate Middle-Class” makes for a good sound-bite and it’s easy to digest without much thought. Looks good on posters as those 20-somethings march around in NYC…

You need to have a goal, then work hard to get there.
Case in point, my mom had 4 brothers (all deceased), none of which had a high school education. Three of the 4 became very sucessful and one (armed with only a 6th grade education) became a multi-millionaire.
So, I’m sure socialists would say its because they were white and were given some kind of special treatment.
No, that would be wrong!
My mom’s family was about as poor as you could be.
One brother started a small glass business (test tubes) in his garage. He designed the burners to mass-produce (well, kind of) the tubes.
One brother worked in a glass factory, and saved his money.
One brother had a small glass business but was not a wise man.
One brother ‘retired’ from his chicken farm at 39 y/o, then became very wise at investing.
I’m sure beyond doubt that today, those brothers would have a tough task clearing ‘environmental’ regulations to start those small glass businesses.
Remember, too, that…………
There were no food stamps
There was no gov housing
There was no free breakfast and lunch at school
What there was…was hard work and saving their money.
Anyone can do that.

Why don‘t we just kick out all the cancer patients because they can’t afford treatment. Let’s just not treat the mentally ill, like yourself and they can defend for themselves. How about we just put all the orphans on the street so they can beg for money on the streets, just like they do south of the border. How about after a baby is born and unwanted we just throw it in the trash. Is that the kind of country you want? Then you should move to China, because that is what happens is countries that have no social infrastructure.
