Man Escapes Drug Charges by Allegedly Swallowing Bag of Cocaine

This story could embolden drug dealers and drug buyers across the country.
A Massachusetts man has avoided drug charges after police say he swallowed a bag of white powder believed to be cocaine. The man, 18-year-old Art Taylor, was pulled over over for a minor traffic violation, but police say they witnessed him swallowing a baggie. Without the evidence, however, the man could not be booked on drug charges.
From the Daily Mail:
Taylor was driving his car in Massachusetts when police witnessed him making the minor traffic offence.
They pulled him over – and became suspicious when Taylor refused to give them his license or registration.
Then, suddenly, he darted in to action.
‘He made a quick movement to the centre console, and there was a small baggie with a white powder in it’, Police spokesperson Ron Brandolini said.
He added: ‘He immediately made a movement to put it in his mouth’.
Officers then struggled with the teenager to stop him from swallowing the bag of white powder but to no avail.
The officers were eventually able to handcuff Taylor and remove him from the car, but he had already swallowed what was believed to have been cocaine.
Taylor was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct, and not using a turn signal.
But no drugs charges were brought against him – as there was no evidence.
Taylor eventually pleaded not guilty and was released on bail, but not before taking a mug shot:
If only mug shots could be used as evidence.

Classic NAZI tactics, can’t get you on a legitimate charge, so we’ll just trump charges up against you and say you assaulted a police officer, and resisted arrest, that way we just prevented you from legally obtaining a firearm and also now we have a reason for officers to approach you with force in the future, you know you have a violent history of “assaulting” a police officer, and you have a history of “resisting arrest”, so we’ll approach you with our weapons drawn, and might shoot you if we’re feeling particularly antsy.
That’s why I hate the Police institution.

All I was trying to explain is how the black market is mainly funded and where a large part of the radical mentality comes from in today’s younger. I hope they put him in a holding sell in the hospital and shot him full of the drug that neutralizes the effect of the drug. Then, I hope they slam dunk him in jail for a long period of time and find out who the supplier is. Drugs are killing our country and the lives of those who use them. Crack cocaine and Meth have ruined many families..
All if the murders south of the border are symptomatic of the drug use here. It’s got to stop!

Cop sees suspect swallow unknown something. “Do you have reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed? Any prior criminal history? THIS DOESN’T SOUND LIKE BEHAVIOR OF A FIRST TIME OFFENDER, does it? Why did you stop him in the first place? (Why did the cop suspect he swallowed drugs?) Cops have enough to worry about. Almost none of them want to play around with making any medical decision. Now we call EMS. To paramedic: “I think he just swallowed toxic substance” ok, intentional ingestion (overdose?) of unknown substance means he’s unable to refuse treatment/transport. Now NOBODY will sign to be responsible for him. We KNOW the jail nurse won‘t accept him so it’s off to the ER he goes. ER physician puts him on a psych hold/suicide watch/ ingestion, overdose diagnosis and the pt gets admitted to the hospital until “THE ADMITTING DOCTOR DISCHARGES THE PATIENT. Not an automatic or trivial event. The orders usually read: Until specimen in question passes and/or is recovered, or specific time elapses, usually three days. Beware: he is not medically cleared for a psych hold until he is medically cleared. Important distinction. Means a change in specialty (service). Then he gets the activated charcoal either they drink it or they get restrained and it goes down the tube that we put down your nose. Any real fighting and the patient gets intubated and put on a ventilator. This takes plenty of time. “Reasonable vs unreasonable?” Cocaine or any street drug will cause changes in vital signs, and so will god knows whatever they cut it with. This drives the treatment. If everything stays normal, then yeah, he probably didn’t take anything and you can go home. He’s just out whatever the ER experience cost him, and he has a great lesson in “Don’t f— with me” This is not rocket science. Happens a million times a day. So whoever told you otherwise, well I don’t believe it. And… Please have a nice day! Brought to you by those screwed by Obama ;-) Next patient please!

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 8:19pmIt must be a left wing Massachusetts thing, here in Georgia hiding drugs in your bloodstream is considered possession. It only takes a blood test. One poor sap in Forsythe County several years ago did a ‘speedball’, they gave him a blood test and got him on 2 counts of felony possession, one for the speed and the other for the heroin. This is just an example of either poor laws or poor prosecution.
