Man Flies Nazi Flag to Antagonize Neighbors

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A large swastika flag hanging in the window of a Sacramento home was taken down late Friday. Neighbors had been outraged with the man who admits hanging the flag at his U Street house.
Joe Ongaro said he was flying the flag because he doesn’t like his next door neighbors and hoped to prevent them from renting their home. Ongaro didn’t answer questions Friday.
Earlier in the week, Ongaro said his inspiration came from a scene in the movie, “Step Brothers.” In the movie, two step brothers pose as a Nazi and a Klu Klux Klan member to sabotage their parents’ attempts to sell their home.

Lawyers say that is covered by the First Amendment. Wouldn’t this fall into the category of hostile activity or takeover? I’m no lawyer, & certainly not real smart, but it doesn’t make sense to me.

I don’t agree with what he is doing in anyway shape or form but this is America and he has his rights as well. If he poisoned your dog as stated then deal with it by contacting the authorities.

It is not freedom of expression, it is NOT freedom to say anything you like… Freedom of Speech was written into the Constitution so that citizens could talk about government without the fear of being imprisoned – as was what happened if you said bad things about the British government.
That this person put up a Nazi flag – its in his house, his castle you might say. As repulsive as it may be – its not against the law, nor was anyone threatened by him – except their eyes and sensibilities. But, this is NOT a Free Speech issue.

To me that is the story is not about a flag, that is protected under our constitutional rights.
And what about Trespassing ? She has him on film so that should be no problem pressing charges.
