Man Cuts Off Arm With Homemade Guillotine

A homeless Washington man has lost his arm in a gory accident this Halloween weekend. Police say the guillotine unexpectedly dropped on the man’s shoulder Thursday, severing his arm, at a makeshift camp where he was living.

After the accident, the man and his severed arm were rushed to Harborview Medical Center with hopes of reattaching it after first walking to local clinic. CBS Seattle reports that one woman outside the clinic told an employee; “I hope that’s a Halloween costume,” referring to the man missing his arm.

The condition of the victim is not known at this time, but Bellingham police said in a release he was being transferred to Harborview in Seattle for further treatment.

KTLA reports that Officers say the guillotine was constructed out of 2 by 6 by at least 12-feet tall timbers that the man found by scavenging the local area.

“A lot of thought and a lot of work and lot of preparation went into making this device and it was apparent this individual used this device to sever his own arm,” Mark Young of the Bellingham Police told KOMO.

KOMO reports that while the injured man was interviewed by police,  other officers grabbed a chainsaw and went to go dismantle the guillotine, which Young said looked just like ones you would see in medieval times.

      Clearly this guillotine was no prank Halloween display. It is HARD evidance OWS is establishing execution facilities off site to drag their targeted victims. I am very disappointed Beck isn’t taking the OWS more seriously. He has been prophetic but still way off the mark in underestimating the diabolocal powers we are all facing. Beck is the one person who seems to have tapped into the demomic force threatening our civilization…. now here it is right before your eyes and Glenn is crouching in a corner thumbing his lips in mental break down. Hey Glenn. That could be your head we see on you tube video getting cut off. . If you are not going to fight for you life and report what is really going down…take your family and move to Panama and put someone in your place better qualified to expose and expell PURE EVIL. We need you and I care about you as you stand on the front line. They chop your head off first, then they come for me everyone else. So when you see operational guillotines respond appropriately . BE an exorcist or FIND one.

      This is not the first time this has happend. I remember a few years ago a guy who I think was in the Chicago area did the same thing. In that incident they said it was some kind of a weird fetish. This sounds like the same thing.

      There was a story on TV about people who self mutilate by cutting off parts of their bodies. It is extreme, because like this guy, they have been known to cut of limbs! He either meant this for himself, or someone or something else.

      bottom line is, why would someone make a guillotine? you don’t know this guys intent, so maybe karma severed his arm instead of possibly and innocent being.

      Back in the halcyon days when I was a young assistant editor, if I’d let that get by me and in the paper, I’d have been a laughing stock for weeks, if not months.

      this man is mentally ill. he has been in and out of mental hospitals but the funding to keep him and people like him in these hospitals was cut long ago. to me this is a very sad case, this man will be back out on the streets and MANY mentally ill in our state of WA who seem to constantly be going off medication and killing people. we need to go back to a time where police are not the ones dealing with them, they are not mental health experts, we need to go back to permanantly institutionalizing those who see things and hear voices. It is a danger to society to have them out and they need prayers love and support.

      Are you sure? The occasional traveller with a guillotine is probably okay. It’s those gray-haired ladies in wheel chairs… those are the ones that typically get the full body search!

It’s not enough that I have one job, but with the Obama administration’s monetarial policies, I’ve had to start working two jobs (the second one is actually free-lancing so not a real job) to keep my family’s head above water. I don’t often have time to post on message boards.

      Troll?! Do you disagree with what I wrote? There’s only a speck of humor in my statement. The guy will end up on disability. I can almost guarantee you that. I’m advisor to governments, and I‘ve seen similar stupidity end up costing the taxpayers’ hundreds of thousands of dollars. Do you think that my hard earned money should be confiscated — yes, confiscated because I don’t pay it willingly — to put this guy on the gravy train because he decided to build a guillotine and impaired himself with it?

      I’ll tell you, it‘s probably too bad he didn’t cut off his freakin’ head. I was being nice when I mentioned his short arm. Navy folks understand that expression.
