The state houses need to develop plans to shut their doors in response…you cannot tell me the capital police do not see them assembling outside. Shut the doors, lock them out…and start using taser guns if necessary. These are professional protesters – not average citizens.

A No-Tolerance policy for certain behaviours has always been a part of our parenting – and guess what? We’ve raised four well-behaved, intelligent, independent thinking, polite & respectful children. For several years, the oldest two have proudly worn their uniforms defending this country. The youngest two regularly participate in charitable projects, by their own choice tithe part of their allowance and strive to set an example for their peers. They strive to promote peaceful intelligent discussion even with those who hold different viewpoints No my kids aren’t angels – but thank God they’re not (and never will be) mindless thugs. Sad that more parents haven’t brought their kids up in the same manner.

Hey DAWG have you ever been to a third world country? The people there live in hell because you cant do anything without bribes or government approval. They all have one thing in common they are central government planed dictatorships or socialists! Only freedom works (capitalist free market) where even a street corner basket weaver can make a living if he or she can make a good basket. Have you ever owned your own business? I doubt it, if you did you would know that the government reaps the highest profit from your risk and labor unless you can lobby the government to make a law to give yourself a monopoly to screw everyone over (used to be illegal once upon a time in the USA).

So move to your dream land Cuba and live it up!

Same with our Nation. It’s almost like people want us all to go completely broke. Not a pretty picture when it happens.

I agree. I read a post recently on facebook from an obvious union sympathizer who claimed that “unions built this country.” I wondered what the vast majority of folks who weren’t in unions were doing at the time. Unfortunately I think a good number of union members believe this and, now, because we are told they are unhappy with the great experiment they mass zombie-like beating their tom-toms ad nauseum and droning ‘we brought you into this world and we can take you out!’ My hope, the only hope the unions have, is that their membership who are not inclined to anarchy and treason, who never aspired to be force-fed mindless puppets dancing feverishly on strings pulled by the wardens who aspire to be gods, will find a voice that does not resemble that of their woefully misguided leadership and begin, in earnest, to raise them collectively and reclaim their reputations. It’s not about us vs. them. Our mission must be to educate and enlighten. I have to believe that the vast majority of union members are hard working Americans like you and I who do not believe that thugs and rabble rousers and hate mongers truly represent their interests or their ideologies. I pray that they find the strength to stand up for their convictions. We must do what we can to support them to that end.

These people are rent a mob. In my local paper, they have ads looking to hire people for “community action”, and “justice”. I really don’t blame them, they really are too stupid to know better. I blame the Soros’, Pivens, and Sussteins of the world.
We have always been beset by demagogues, but with mass media available to anyone with the bucks, their voices just appear louder than they really are. Unfortunately. there is also a segment of our population succeptable to the rhetoric. A lot is to blame on our school system which doesn’t teach critical thought. It teaches rote learning i.e.: evolution as proven fact.
Jefferson said the “tree of Liberty is watered with the blood of tyrants”, and I fear we are coming to the time when we will have to do a LOT of watering. When it does come, you will NOT be able to rely on weak societal constructs. The tribalism of race politics, union justice, and kumbaya will crumble because it is based on the philosophy of not trusting your fellow man. Churches, small towns, and a few organizations like the boy scouts( yes I believe in them too). will survive and eventually prosper because they are based on Judeo-Christian values.
If you really want to see a plausible scenario of near future apopcalyps (sic: sorry brain fart) I encourage you to read John Ringo’s “the Last Centurion”.

I am a (forced) member of SEIU775NW, and these GAZI (Global Socialist) goons hold my client hostage to force me into their union under Washington State Law. How is this not a violation of my US Constitutional right to free association?

The SEIU775NW constitution states that any member who starts or signs a petition to disband SEIU775NW, or even to seek representation under another union, looses their union membership, and thus their job. Additionally, though I use the exact same verbiage and rhetoric as the SEIU international blog moderators, because I am criticizing SEIU, I have been banned from posting at that blog. How is this not a violation of my US Constitutional right to free expression?

SEIU says I can become an ‘objector,’ but if I do, I still have to pay money (albeit a slightly reduced amount) to SEIU775NW, they still get to negotiate with the state for my services, and I loose all say in the union AND I loose all say in the contract SEIU775NW negotiates with the state for my services. How is this not taxation without representation?

SEIU775NW DOE NOT REPRESENT ME! THEY JUST FORCED ME INTO THEIR UNION. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT NOT ALL MEMBERS OF SEIU ARE WILLING DRONES…SOME OF US ARE JUST INDENTURED SERVANTS. HELP FREE US FROM OUR BONDAGE BY HELPING TO REPEAL MANDITORY UNION MEMBERSHIP IN STATE GOVERNMENT!

      ARMED REBELLION, CERTAINLY NOT:

Recently, some of my Facebook friends have posted messages hinting that armed rebellion might be necessary to free us from the tyrants. Violent revolution might well free us from the current crop of tyrants but would almost certainly mean the end Of the American Revolution. The result would most likely be a new dictator who promised to reinstate the constitution and free elections as soon as order could be restored. Look at history. That was Castro’s promise and Cuba is still waiting for him to restore the Constitution and provide free elections.

In all of history is only been one George Washington! There have been many revolutions and without an external intervention all had degenerated into a dictatorship. There has been only one “George Washington” ready, willing and able to create a constitutional republic. If violence erupts in our country, in an attempt to dispose of the tyrants, the result will almost surely be a dictatorship and the world will sink back into the Middle Ages. http://commonsense21c.com/

All of the weak and greedy people in this country are coming out of the cracks. They think they can grab the brass ring without working for it like everyone else. The organizers of SEIU who have encouraged them to scream and threaten violence are just evil.

I look at these young jerks singing and protesting like 1960′s wannabees and I cringe. Why would they want to emulate failures like Ayers, Dohrn, and Haydn who had to burrow underground for decades because they offended decent society? They take that road, and they will be losers as well.

Author of Tragedy and Hope (tragedy is all the people who must suffer and die for the NWO, and the hope is the NEW WORLD ORDER )

Professor Quigley was a Globalist, he supported the idea NEW WORLD ORDER and wrote about it, he, unlike the elites, thought the people should know about it.

“The powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements, arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the worlds’ central banks which were themselves private corporations. The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups.” Tragedy and Hope: A History of The World in Our Time (Macmillan Company, 1966,) Professor Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University

“The Council on Foreign Relations is the American branch of a society which originated in England … [and] … believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.” Dr. Carroll Quigley

“I know of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years in the early 1960s to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies … but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known.”

Dr. Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope

“As a teenager, I heard John Kennedy’s summons to citizenship. And then, as a student, I heard that call clarified by a professor I had named Carroll Quigley.”President Clinton, in his acceptance speech for the Democratic Party’s nomination for president, 16 July 1992

Now, I agree that corporations have our best interests at heart. I’m confident that they will treat us with respect and reward us fairly for our hard work in creating the profits they are legally bound to deliver to their shareholders. That’s why corporations have been give the same rights as individuals in this country. And what better example than the financial industry, who colluded with the ratings agencies to bundle worthless assets into new products to be sold at inflated prices and values.

to tobywil2. so, when is enough for you? are you one of those who thinks you can simply vote them out? if so, you couldn’t be more wrong. the reason we are where we are at is the same reason castro was successful. well, except for the rampant murders. the main reason is that all these connivers we elect ( both sides ) is that they have nothing to lose. nothing. no fear of retribution for anything they do. all any of them care about is securing their own bottom line. to “serve” for forty years and retire in splendor. beware of any politician who says he wants what is best for the country. all any of them want is what’s best for them. we will never see things get better until we finally tell these jokers that if they screw up you are going to JAIL. for a long time. take away their pensions and the millions they get in retirement and force them to go back to the public sector and be just like the rest of us. subject to the laws that they instituted. no more making a career out of destroying the country. everything wrong with this country is the direct fault of politicians. everything. and the time to do it is now. i gaurantee you, that if a million of us stormed the capitol building and started throwing these bums out on the street they would start to get the message. we need to get as mad as these commie wannabes are. they will never be changed through anything but force. but on the other hand, i know, deep down, that this will never happen. it would take a lot of people. and you are never going to rally enough for any serious effect. people have rolled over and taken it for so long that we think the system can actually work. it can’t. so go back to sleep, and when you awaken, you can carry out your little revolutions on the blaze. as for me, i’m just preparing my family to get by. everyone else can starve.

You attack Bush for Iraq and Afghanistan, yet support Obow on Libya. If we start bombing Ivory Coast–you know, since YOU are so brilliant and above the rest of us here–how will you justify in your own head the killing of people for ‘humanitarian’ reasons?

Nice job of fault deflection! Since you know about ratings agencies, you probably know the root cause of the crisis was a progressive scheme to get more poor folks into houses they could not afford. It was an amazing feat to somehow let Wall St leverage the mortgage-backed securities to a 40:1 ratio. If you are going to present facts, why not present all the facts. I know. You are a progressive shill just waiting to get your hands on your “fair share” of wealth redistribution.

We’ve heard all the rehtoric about “Corporate Greed”. What ISN’T being said is about the Corporate Philanthropy, like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. That is just ONE instance of “giving back”. Corporations and the weathy pay 62 % of all the taxes, but that’s not enough for these sheeple. They BELIEVE that THEY are ENTITLED to ALL of someone ELSES sweat equity. Many wealthy people give covertly for various reasons. 1) They don’t want to be swamped with people on their doorstep begging for money; 2) They don’t declare their charity on their tax return because it was FREELY given; 3) (and perhaps the most important reason) the Bible tells us to be charitable in secret so as not to boast. We really have no idea how much is given back by those who have money. The sheeple in the clip above are looking at what is done in the open, like their mentors, i.e.politicians, especially those they seem to emulate the most (that don’t even pay their taxes, much less, give to charity) union leaders, and the Obamanation who wasn’t even charitable to his own family. I‘m sick of the frame of mind that says if you have something that I don’t have, you’re GREEDY. Maybe you worked hard to get what you have. I AM NOT ENTITLED to the fruits of YOUR labor. You may CHOOSE to share it with me, but it is NOT my RIGHT to have you FORCED to hand it over.

Once again you see the myopic view of America’s unions. They, like a parasite, want what they want, no matter if it kills the host, which is the unwilling American taxpayer. They rail against the very corporate structure that cuts the checks that feed their families. There is a modern day fable being written for the ages. You cannot love the job and hate the creator of the job. If you are not self sufficient and enterprising, you risk being at the mercy of those who are. This will not end well for those who are being led astray by the power hungry unions who really have no power at all in the worldwide scheme of things.

      un-nameable, upstate and seeker:

As you know, most subprime loans were made by firms that aren’t subject to the CRA. University of Michigan law professor Michael Barr testified before the House Committee on Financial Services that 50% of subprime loans were made by mortgage service companies not subject comprehensive federal supervision and another 30% were made by affiliates of banks or thrifts which are not subject to routine supervision or examinations.

In total, of all the higher-priced loans, only 6 percent were extended by CRA-regulated lenders (and their affiliates) to either lower-income borrowers or neighborhoods in the lenders’ CRA assessment areas.

It wasn’t poor people who caused the mortgage crisis, it was rich greedy people.

Don’t take my word for it. Do your own research. Find the truth. You are the T in truth. You are the noodles in the lasagna of liberty. You are the butter on the toast of freedom. And as we all know, toast has no agenda.

Agreed. But our current path leads us to a dictator, as well – at some point violence will be required.

Education is preferred, and is ultimately the key, to the preservation of everybody’s individual liberties – very difficult when attempts to argue the merits of our position are met with “I don’t want to talk about politics”, or with violence.

Why? Because the police unions have not protected their slice of the pie. I personally know officers who’s pensions exceed 120k annually with COI, health and spousal benefits for life. All starting at around age 55. Look it up. They’re not willing to take a dime less. And their funds are coming from the same pool. The same pool that is empty.

like it or not, the protestors and the police are on the same side. Both parties do not want any type of cut in their pay, services and benefits. It’s that simple. Police union leadership knows what they’re doing. The know it’s best to wait until things get really hairy and then use that to leverage their deals. Until then, I doubt you’ll see much more than the dozen or so arrests you saw in the WA capital this week.

All these people tying to break down the doors of the Governor’s office and only about 15 arrests? For misdemeanors? Not to mention the threats in the videos?

Very funny! I would not take your word for anything since you cherry pick data points. The loans have become largely untraceable. I would not believe much of what any one says on the subject as plenty of a**es need to be covered. It was a progressive scheme, to lower lending standards. Housing went into a classic bubble. One cannot lay blame on any one sector that took part in it. After all, greed is not a condition of the rich. There are greedy progressives, socialists, government officials, etc. Urging the middle class to up their greed quotient is hardly a solution to any problem. As most know, pigs get slaughtered.

DAWG OF GAWD IS AN EXTREME EXAMPLE OF A CAPITALIST FAIL.

nice try. Im sure you are now living in barney franks basement and everyday he gives you money for (insert here)……making excuses and blaming it on big business. Your deception is dark and your soul is black. That is your burden to bear. best of luck to you.

What amazes me is that our governor is pretty liberal, and has driven up spending remarkably while in office. Washington State had a surplus when Gregoire got into office, and now we’re deep in deficit. And now the pefties are protesting her position to make cuts to reverse the entitlement spending she induced. Many of the cuts are to things that have only recently been implemented, yet the protesters think they are “rights” that are being taken away.

Echoes of the 60‘s and early 70’s anti Vietnam War protests! Are these people caught in a time warp? Same chanting, same singing, same lame slogans!

You’ll laugh, the teachers pension here in Wisconsin has $10 million wrapped up in Georgia Pacific…….google it‘s owner and you’ll shart your knickers. These idiots haven’t a clue where their money goes and how it MAKES more money so they will HAVE a pension. They wouldn’t last a day on the streets of New York without a union master calling the shots for them. So sad…..lost sheeple. When this place caves in on itself, it’s people with cool heads and resourcefulness that will survive. Asking around with you flapping lips wrapped around a bull horn won’t put food on you table and clothes on your back.

I wonder if that woman’s client that needed to be turned every hour died while she was there protesting.
      —————————————————-
I was thinking the same dam thing! Instead of helping to save her clients life she decided to go protest and then she tries to blame it on somoen else???? Why do people like this woman think we owe them something?

      Pray for her client.

These people think they can fool us. They are so misinformed. We are much smarter than they are. These Far-Left loony bottom-suckers need to be booted out of the White House, the Dem party, and all government activities. They are criminals! Even Obama. He’s a major part of this corruption!
