Martha Stewart Gets Stitches After Own Dog Bites Her

NEW YORK (The Blaze/AP) — Martha Stewart isn‘t likely to whisper sweet nothings into her dozing dog’s ear anytime again soon.

The 69-year-old lifestyle guru wrote on her blog Thursday that she needed stitches after startling her dog Francesca while leaning down to “whisper goodbye.” The dog jumped up and rammed into Stewart.

She writes on her blog that she “felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed” from her split lip Tuesday night:

As I leaned down to whisper goodbye to a dozing Francesca, I must have startled her, because she bolted upright with such force that she hit me in the face like a boxing glove hitting an opponent’s face.  I was entirely startled and my neck snapped back.  I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip.  Frannie was as upset as I was and cowered in her bed.

She initially called police to ask for a ride to the hospital but realized her driver was waiting to drive her from her home in the suburbs to New York City for a “Today” show appearance.

Stewart landed in the Northern Westchester Hospital emergency room and received stitches in her upper lip.

She posted photos of the mishap on her blog, including those above, and this one, with the caption, “The ceiling border in the little patient room could use some updating, don’t you think?”

Common (read: poor) felons never get a second chance at life, but if you are a rich felon like Martha Stewart you get out of prison and start right where you left off. Normally, a person convicted of a felony would lose all their property, cars, houses, etc. and it would be auctioned of by the Government. Any of you so-called Constitutional Patriots see a problem with either side of that?

That is so much crap, felons get a lot of second chances or why would we even need the question “have you ever been convicted of a felony” on anything. Some commentors on this sight have turned into stupid pyrahnas.

Ouch, I’m not a Martha fan and never will be. I especially dislike her after her Palin remarks last year. As smart as she is support to be, you’d think she knows not to surprise animals like that. The dog looks like a Gremlin.

Who takes photos of their doctors visits and the procedures? This too will be exploited for profit.

Better yet, who in the world calls the police for a ride to the hospital and why on earth does someone need to be “taken” to the hospital for a cut lip?

Grow a set and drive yourself to the hospital you stinking *******!

Some folks just can’t read. The dog gave her a head butt.

Anyone who owns dobermans (or any other big dog) knows that having your face over the top of the dog’s head is really stupid. Their necks are strong and they have tendency to throw their head back to look at you.

That big knobby bone on the top of the head WILL get you and do serious damage! You can get knocked clean out by the move.

The dog doesn’t know that it did anything wrong because its unintentional. But the animal does know that it hurt you and gets scared.

Its a dog thing, cat people just wouldn’t understand.

Where did that headline come from? the dog obviously didn’t bite her… “The dog jumped up and rammed into Stewart.”

It should have read “Martha Stewart needs stitches after almost being knocked out by her 20 lb French Bull Dog.”

The French Bull Dogs are all muscle in their necks and shoulders.

According to the actual story…there was NO biting involved. Her injury was due to a collision between her dog’s head and her mouth. But I guess saying she was bitten makes a more dramatic headline.

Hope they never surprise “the masses”, then (since we’re all just animals, couldn’t we all just be forgiven for biting the hands of our minders?)!

…wait….did you just say WHIPLASH? It’s time to sue the vet for administering anti-flea medication which prompted this poor, illiterate, mongrel – to bite her dear, sweet…“owner”.

…or maybe Martha needs to go back to jail – for intentionally insitghting her spirit guide (embodied in the form of an animal) to attack her?

Oh…I don’t know…this religion of worshipping animals seems to elevate the animal, while the minimizing man by making him an animal…is so confusing. Do they want man lifted up, or animals caste-down…?

Devotee‘s of the worship of animal’s that are also adherents of a debunked, failed, anachronistic political system – should be surprised when their animals turn on them.

Seems like a fitting and thoroughly natural outcome.

Just ask George, John, Thomas, Patrick, Paul, Benjamin, James and Alexander…oh yeah…and defintely ask King George.

This is what happens Martha, when you underestimate animals, and overestimate your beliefs.

Now, if we could just get Frau Pivens dog to clamp down on her lip…
