Leno Spoof Shows Martha Stewart Pepper-Spraying a Turkey

On last night’s “Tonight Show,” host Jay Leno aired a must-see television spoof. Earlier in the day, culinary genius Martha Stewart invited the “Today Show” to her home where she shared some delicious Thanksgiving Day cooking tips. So, Leno seized upon the opportunity to create a memorable comedic moment.
In the spoof, which intersperses actual footage, Stewart is asked if she plans to use salt and pepper on the bird. Her response: “Yes. Here’s a fabulous trick I learned over at UC Davis.” As Stewart speaks, she puts on a face visor and begins pepper spraying the turkey.
The Huffington Post quips, “Nothing like the taste of a little pepper spray to go with that tender dark meat.” Leno was clearly poking fun at the now-infamous pepper spraying incident that unfolded at UC Davis last week when authorities attempted to remove Occupy protesters.

Update: This story has been updated to note that the clip is, in fact, a spoof. The “Today Show” team plays the fake clip of Stewart pepper spraying the turkey at the 5:00 mark in the second clip (above). The real Stewart actually has a good laugh after seeing it. This is similar to the angry Obama press conference that Leno spoofed last year.

You know if the police officer involved in the UC thing had physically touched one of those “occupiers” there would have been hell to pay. The MSM and every left-wing organization would have had a collective stroke over the incident and would have demanded the officer’s head on a plate because of “police brutality,” even if he just grabbed one of them by the arm. In fact, they would have preferred if that had happened – it makes for a better propaganda shot.

If a police officer says, “move or get sprayed in the face,” the logical reaction is to move. Likewise, resisting is an invitation to get sprayed in the face. I could not possibly have less sympathy for these protesters.

Be careful when you cook with or eat hot peppers. Begin with small amounts, and increase the amount as you get used to it.

Some people might be allergic to it, but then if they are, they shouldn’t be out refusing to follow police orders.
I used a cream, with capsaicin, on my ankles one time and took a walk in the summer. I could not get home fast enough. It burned like heck.
