Martin Bashirs Guest: If Cain Could Become The Color of Water He Would Do ItA day wouldn’t be complete without a left-wing member of the African American community, or, media, attacking GOP presidential contender Herman Cain’s “blackness.”

In this instance, MSNBC host Martin Bashir brought TheGrio.com columnist Goldie Taylor on his Friday program to again criticize Cain for suggesting racism is no longer a factor holding African Americans back from attaining success in America. Taylor asserted that “If he [Cain] could become what I would call the color of water, he would do it.”

“You’ve got to wonder which country Herman Cain is living in or which planet, for that matter,” Taylor said.

“Planet Cain!” Bashir exclaimed.

Taylor, who believes Cain is trying to “placate the base,” said, “he’s after is a right-wing ultra-conservative base that does not want to either see racism as a dilemma or see it as an attack on them.”

To which Bashir replied, “Goldie, you‘re almost saying that he’s trying to denude and diminish his own ethnicity in order to win that base, is that what you’re saying?”

“That‘s exactly what I’m saying,” Taylor stated.

“What I’m saying is that if he can shed his ethnicity today, if he could become what I would call the color of water, he would do it. He would do it in an effort to prove that he and people just like him could fit in anywhere and have the same level of success no matter what their race, ethnicity or gender happen to be. That just doesn’t happen to be the case. And so, would he shed it? I think he would.”

    Well, clearly, Goldie Taylor is a racist! No, no, you can’t tell me any different. I know she’s a woman of color, but she can‘t talk about Herman Cain’s politics without mentioning skin color or the ability to change it. That is an overt act of racism! She doesn‘t like Cain because he’s a black man on the RIGHT side of politics, and that my friends is racist! This is only the beginning… if Cain gets the GOP presidential nomination there will be so much more of what Ms. Taylor is spewing. It’s going to get ugly, ugly, ugly! I hope that if he does get the nomination, and if the left starts name-calling, that conservatives will stand together and call them racists just like they’ve called Republicans racists for not agreeing with Obamatics. Conservatives are embracing Cain and just as with Obama, they don’t care about his skin pigmentation – they care about his capability to run this country.

      Indeed, they bring her onto the show, denounce Cain and the Tea Party as racist, in addition to the majority of Americans by inuendo…i.e. even though Cain is African-American, he came from a poor family, and he made himself a success, and he is a conservative, for some reason this makes me, a supporter of his, a racist…another example of the liberal progressive mind disease in action.

Herman Cain is not only a smart, fair minded and a Christian, but he’s loved by most of us for his substance, unlike Obamm who pulled the wool over our eyes with his forked tongue talk. But he only fooled them for a short season, and they realize what he is now.

      You, lady are a shame to your race, race-baiting a decent man. What most of us like about Herman is his style of feeling comfortable in his own skin and treats all with respect and kindness.       If people would really listen to what the left is saying about Herman Cain, they would know who the real racist are. Herman Cain is a great American, he made the American dream come true for himself and his family and many employee’s. People need to get past color, we‘re American’s we come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Mr. Cain is running for President because he can see the trouble this country is in, he believes he can do a better job than the currant President. So do I. I’m voting for the man I believe is the best American for the job. The people of this country have to get their heads on strait and vote for the best American for the job. Listen to the message, if it hit’s you where you live vote for that American. Stop listening to the hate and the crap the haters and MSM are trying to overload us with. We’re all Americans, we are smart and know how to use our brain’s. So lets use our brain’s and vote for who we think is the best American for the job.       The destruction of the family unit is the major cause of the problems affecting the black community. A social experiment carried out by the progressives to build a demographic ready to accept their version of a better world. True black conservatives who rise above the manufactured, yet all too real, difficulties they find themselves in are a threat to progressivism and expansion of their power base. Many black communities find themselves in an unenviable position in which to try and raise a family however the social experiment has such traction that even those members of the black community who have made their way in the world and enjoy the success of their labor cannot speak of rising above the turmoil without facing the wrath of the progressive machine. Only when people accept responsibility for their own actions will they succeed. This is not a black vs. white rant; the experiment has many faces in many communities, the possibilities are endless, with the rise of political correctness they can now exploit a community based upon race, gender, religion (or lack thereof), sexual orientation or disability. The progressives will find or manufacture an inequity or cultural mistrust within a community and exploit it to meet their needs. We must not accept the role of pawns in the progressive game. We have the honor of living in the greatest country in the history of the world and therefore have a responsibility to nurture and protect this great Republic.

      I’m glad that Cain has stopped running on the anti-Muslim platform. He‘s stated that he wouldn’t appoint any Muslim to his cabinet or to any Federal post. That’s good, except that he was was staking out a position that violates the Constitional prohibition against a “religious test” for Federal employees. And or course he said that a community had right to prevent Mosques being built, an idea that is a direct violation of the First Amendment.

      But, good for him, he’s stopped talking about that. I guess he read the Constitution after he made those remarks.

      Otherwise he’s a model candidate. His 999 plan is excellent. That plan substantially lowers taxes for the rich while raising yours, that is supposing you are middle or lower class. That’s a 9% tax on that house you’re thinking about buying or that new car you were considering. Your microwave oven is getting a little flaky? Think twice about getting another because it’s going to cost 9% more. Everything is going to cost 9% more.

      Same for the rich, his plan makes everything equal for everybody. Except, you know, the rich don’t have to worry about their house, or car, or paying for food. They got a tax break, so they’re looking at that new jet and how much this is going to effect that new house in France.

      The problem with Cain is that he doesn’t espouse all the welfare “n-word” rhetoric, and it makes the other plantation blacks mad. There wasn’t a race problem until this man became president and focused attention on it. Does racism exist in parts of the world? Yes. Is it only directed at blacks? No. I have a handicapped child, now 21, but when he was 4 I remember a mother steering her normal child away from him in a public park so she wouldn’t play with him. The reason? He’s Down Syndrome and we were speaking in sign language. There is ignorance everywhere, but it’s not rampant.

      Actually, if you understood the 999 plan you would know that everything you said about it is untrue. Will there be a 9% sales tax? Yes. But everything will be cheaper. The corperate tax right now is 35%, the highest in the world (except for maybe Japan, I can’t remember). So if their tax goes from 35% to 9%, don’t you think the prices of the products will decrease? And you can say that the buisnesses will just pocket the savings but in the free market, will all the competition, that will not happen. Many buisnesses will lower the price to get sales causing the other competition to do so, even if they don’t want to, in order to stay competative. So they will be saving 26% in thier cost. So if they lowered the price by just 10% (which most would do more) then you still save 1% on the cost with his plan. Plus, without the payroll tax, buisnesses will be able to forward that to their employees. Now, not all employers will do that but many will. Plus there will be hundreds of billions of dollars saved by not having to follow the curret tax code, not including getting many of the lobbyist out of Washington, making the OWS and Tea Party happy. If you invest in anything, no taxes there. Many middle class familys invest and some lower class familys do too, when they can. Please show me the bad part?

      There might still be racism in this country, but there is hatred all around the world. The more you identify as a victim, the more you become one. Herman has risen above that. He has taken a positive attitude and decided that he will love his fellow man, regardless of color and he will win. This woman is stuck on pointing out that the black population cannot succeed because of a few that hate them. People rise or sink to the level of their expectations. It is necessary to inspire in order that people will reach up instead of sinking down. She is a disgrace to her people!!

      Herman is not trying to appease anyone. He IS a conservative with storng moral character and conviction. He was not trying to reach out to anyone accept those with similar beliefs. Many of those happen to be Tea Partiers. There are many more who believe in him. Those who want to call him white, are jealous that he is able to look beyond skin color. I have dated black, brown, yellow, red and white men and I am sure if there were purple, I would date that also. I married a Mexican American for 20 years. Color is only a perception that some cannot get past.

    The reason African Americans were in the minority at the Tea Party rallies is twofold; one, they are a minority and two, most have not been able to throw off the shackles of the Democratic Party.     I wish that conservative Blacks would start speaking up.

    As a teacher, I saw blacks screw the black students over and over again. I would speak out against it and I was made to look evil. I kept fighting for a while, and realized that the blacks were screwing the blacks over and over and over again. I hear about racism, but Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jesse, Jr, Obama are the ones that poor blacks should be hating and be angry at. These people keep them on welfare, their children uneducated, and at the bottom of barrel financially.
