MSNBC’s Matthews: Democrats Don’t Really Want to Stop Illegal Immigrants, Do They?

In another challenging segment from MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, the Hardball host Tuesday asked his guests why it seems like the national Democratic Party isn’t really serious about stopping the flow of illegal immigrants into the country, suggesting (gasp!) it’s a political maneuver:

    If the repubs do not take care of this we will just keep booting them out until they take care of it or until our own citizens are fed up enough and defend our borders themselves and make our government look like embeciles (should be easy to do that since they already wear the shoes) We have to stay on top of this or by 2050 or something they will be the majority and then we will be a third world country and the dems win. If this gets any worse we won’t be able to fix it.

      TOO LATE.

      The Hispanic birth rate already garantees that they will be the Majority by 2050, or sooner. Here in Texas we are all placing bets now on whether the Hispanics or the Feral Hogs will out mutiply the other, and consume/destroy what is left of Texas. The hogs actually multiply faster, one sow can account for 800 pigs a years in compound breeding, but there are only about 1.5 Million hogs in the state, and they have natural enemies that thin the herds The hispanics can’t match the 800 a year number, but there are about 12 Million of them working 24/7s to churn them out, and they have Subsidized Breeding Assistance with our tax dollars.

      Best get comfortable and learn to speak Spanish (Actually it’s Tex-Mex, whole different animal). The United States of America will rather sooner than later, be just the Northern Half of the Mexican Continent.

      I like it. That will never happen because it makes to much sense. I hope the GOP are paying attention. While I honestly do feel sorry for the children born and raised here. What a mess. The border must be secured not only from the mexicans but all the terrorist coming in through South America. Check out the congressional report “A line in the sand.” Atlanta 2 news.     Yes, he sent the national guard, but he put them behind desks. I have a problem with him turning a blind eye at the border, turning a blind eye when illegals are arrested for other crimes, turning a blind eye to “sanctuary cities” and suing Arizona or going after businesses that hire illegals even if the business has done everything possible to avoid it (Meg Whitman). I for one say we need high fences with wide gates, but we do need to control who comes in. if the Chinese could build a wall without a single backhoe I do not buy into Nepalitano’s excuse that it is just not feasible for us to build one.

    BTW – an illegal immigrant neighbor of mine wrapped an American flag up in trash and threw it on my property last weekend because I complained about his stereo that was literally shaking my house. 67% of Mexicans don‘t even acknowledge the United States’ right to exist. The first thing the government should do is protect it’s citizens from foreign invaders. If the Republicans congress doesn’t secure the border and move to deport more illegals (not just employers!!!), then they‘re going to see a bunch more Christine O’Donnells and Sharon Angles eating away at their power.

      Dems aren’t going to do anything except maybe an 11th-hour Amnesty-granting by Obama just in time to register 2-3 million more democrats to save his a$$ at election time. You can‘t even get a decent job in AZ unless you’re bilingual English-Spanish. I speak just enough Spanish to get by, so I finally got another job after 9 months of nothing. Dems don’t really care about illegal immigrants at all, just so long as they vote Democrat when the time comes. That’s why we still have that doofus traitor Grijalva as our congressional representative. He’s totally for “open borders,” and doesn’t listen to the voters unless they speak Spanish. Nobody is more glad than I am that AZ has won more congressional seats thanks to the latest population shift. I hope the Yuma sector finally gets its own representative – a Republican – and quit letting Tucson lord over us like they have been for years and years.

I’ve asked this Q before…why can’t all the northern and southern border states (except for CA since they encourage illegals), declare a State Of Emergency and force the govt to secure our borders, and NOW. Not just from ILLEGAL immigrants, but TERRORISTS!

We are quickly turning into a third world country due to our inability to take illegal immigration seriously. Once you turn a blind eye to people breaking the law, when or what law do you enforce?       You actually make a little sense in that post. Like with any forum or any group of people you will always get those with lots of bluster and little sense of reality.

      But do you not want to see things improve? I mean, I do not know what your personal idea of improvement is, mine follows along with Beck’s new book. I somehow doubt we are on the same page on that…Bush was just as bad as Obama, even Reagan was not the ultra-conservative some make him out to be. What is the solution? Do you think there is one? Or should we all just throw up our hands and not worry about it? I am sick and tired of political labels. I do not care if you are a democrat or republican. We will either learn to compromise and agree on some things or this country will go down. It is happening now, we ALL need to put aside our political agenda and solve some very basic problems. Border security is a big one. What will we do with the illegals that are here? I agree with you and Matthews too, and that is why I rarely speak out on this issue. There is no way they will be deported and I reluctantly even support the dream act with the stipulation that the borders are sealed first. Repubs need to come to grips with this issue. There is no way we could ever even begin to deport illegals. Far easier to assimilate them, that is the American way. Likewise, the Muslim problem needs dealt with. Everyone hates the Muslims and I suppose half of the right wing wackos in here would like to deport or even exterminate every Muslim in this country. I do not even respond to foolishness like that. The solution is not allowing them to have any influence on real life in America. They are no different than any other group that immigrated here and was hated by certain segments of the rest of the population: Irish, negros, Italians, Germans, Japs…Catholics…Jews…Killing every Muslim in the US will not do a thing to make us any “safer.”

      So yeah, I agree that some in here are a bit radical, as are many on the left. We all have our different ideas, it is usually bad form to try and lump people into a single group. But what is your angle then? Even if it is probably futile should we not try and change things? Should we not start waking up and paying attention to our government? Elect those who are closest to what we would like to see? Are you saying that gold is not a good investment? That is a stupid stance to take, one only has to look at how gold is going up. You can call me paranoid or even a nut, but my pantry is stocked with a 2 month supply of food at our normal consumption rate. We replenish as we eat it and rotate it when we restock. But there is always that supply on hand. It could be stretched to 5 or 6 months in an emergency. I have a generator and 10 gallons of gas on hand, and keep my vehicles full also. As we live in Florida much of this is normal hurricane precaution. I also have a number of firearms on hand, rifles, shotguns, and handguns, and my family all know how to use them. If this thing blows up I stand a much better chance than those who just blow things off. Do I expect riots in the streets and Armageddon? No…But if it does come, and it has come for many people throughout history, I will be as ready as I can be.

      You are one of the forum’s pet trolls, but you do seem to have at least a modicum of common sense. I do not know why you chose the side you did and I am not going to argue your beliefs. But do you want to be part of the problem or the solution?

      What we need is to treat them like the Mexicans would treat an American who went into their country illegally. I say round them up deport them and build a fence and hire ten times the agents we have and give shoot to kill orders. Until we get serious which is going to take Americans really holding our governments feet to the fire, securing our border is going to continue to be neglected. We need to make it a felony to knowingly hire an illegal and very heavy fines. If the job source dries up they will learn quickly that if they want to come to America they need to do it the legal way.

      Deploying 1,200 troops when they need 10,000 was just fine; but you do know that those 1,200 troops are being sent home by the end of February 2011, except for a few who will be sent to Arizona to serve until September 2011 or until the money for that runs out.

      No, if the Governors had not complained this administration would have sat on their hands and nothing would have been done. Second as soon as the election was complete they “democ(rats)” took all the funds away and put a halt in the building of the boarder fence.

      @ Broker0101… Of course, we don’t have to deport 30 to 40 million illegal aliens in this country today. We simply have to build the fence, enforce all of our immigration laws, mandate e-Verify nationwide, end the “Anchor Baby” loophole, and end all tax-paid benefits to illegal aliens.

      In other words, take away the jobs and the benefits and illegal aliens will self-deport. Only open-border Progressives try to frame this ongoing crisis as a “deport them all or amnesty them all.” The rest of us have common sense.

      No, putting a few National Guardsmen on the border isn’t enough. We need the deployment of the US Marines and the Army’s 101st Airborne with loaded weapons and the order to shoot on sight. Bring the OUR boys home from Afghanistan and Iraq and let them protect OUR country for a change.
      Most Americans at this stage could care less what the Afghans and Iraqis do in their countries. However, we do care about OUR country and want to keep it safe from the Mexican drug cartels and other criminal elements freely crossing the borders. Our imigration laws need to be inforced to the point of zero tolerance. The so called “Dream Act” failed to pass in both the congress and senate. It’s just a matter of time before other democratic legislation is introduced to give illegal immigrants American citezenship. They feel that’s a good way to get more votes so they can continue running this country into the ground. Let Harry Reid and others like him pick up a rifle and guard the border.

      To bring down a country you leave the borders wide open,
      do nothing about the terrorist gangs roaming the streets,
      Destroy Nasa, and the Military,
      take away strategic defense,
      and destroy health care,
      Just part of the plan, but these radical Marxist’s
      do not realize that if they suceeded they would be
      eliminated too, beacause if thier own country can’t
      trust them, how can anyone else?

      It’s fine to deploy the National Gard but what are they doing when they get there . Are they actualy being used to catch people and to secure the border, I bet they are not. it is just one more way to make people think they are doing something . You have to watch the hand that is actualy being delt here.This admistration doesn‘t play with the same deck are even play the same game that most American’s play.

      uhh.. a few hundred nat guard in random places that cant even do anything was nothing but a token response by moron in chief. it would take 10k to start with, with orders to apprehend boarder crossing illegals and to engage smugglers.
