Matthews on Nazi Re-enactment: Is This Some ‘Homoerotic Thing?’

Chris Matthews is trying to figure out why an Ohio GOP candidate would dress up as a Nazi officer for a WWII re-enactment. Unable to make sense of it, he throws out a reason: “homoerotic.”

    Matthews is a bloomin’ idiot. For someone who professes to be so educated, he sure is stupid, as well as that idiot he’s interviewing. I can’t believe these folks have never heard of re-enactors. To have a re-enactment of the good guys and the bad guys, somebody has to play the part of the bad guys or it’s just not very educational or entertaining . . . idiots!

      The interesting thing is that the candidate also indicated that he had reenactor uniforms for Union and Confederate as well as WWI American events and that he did this to share a love of history with his son. Sounds like some kind of freak doesn’t he? Matthews should be ashamed of himself. On the other hand, on what day can’t you say that about Matthews. I typically don’t comment on such drivel as Matthews but this one really upset me.

      Add to that the fact that the Wiking unit didn’t have Germans in it. It was filled with Norwegian, Finnish and Swedes who wanted to fight against the Russians. Basically Matthews is ignorant about the entire topic and chooses to cover it up by calling the reenactor gay.

      Perhaps the scene in the new Vince Vaughn movie which is being lifted because he says that “electric cars are gay” should be put back in. It is obviously politically correct to call something or someone that you disagree with “gay” since such a liberal beacon as Matthews is doing it.

      Sorry, he really set me off this time. Ignorance combined with bias, combined with smug sanctimoniousness is thankfully rare but must be commented on.

    I **really** hate that I actually know of this stuff but sadly, I am a Formula One fan & worked in motorsports/IndyCar. If anyone knows/remembers Max Mosely, the President of the FIA, was caught in a Nazi orgy themed scandal.

    You could probably fill a set of Encyclopedia Brittanica with things that Matthews does not know or has not heard of. If he has not heard of it it must be homoerotic, crazy or just wrong. Is there video of these re-enactors dancing? That seems to be the implied statement to prove the homoerotic slant. Is Matthews a homophobe or just an idiot? I vote for the latter.

    Shows total disconnect with people whose hobbies are NOT DC based. I would NOT play a SS Officer but unless the person actually was a NAZI, its ok by me since any WWII reenactment requires two side.

Every once in a while you will hear a leftist slip and say what they actually think, in this case, cuckoo Chris demonstrates that it’s not the right who has a deep seated hatred for those who are different, think different, or look different, its the left. Always has been. Hitler was a leftist, Stalin was a leftist, Mao was a leftist, and in my opinion satan himself is the father of all leftists.       Unfortunately, our dumbed down school system in the past thirty years have produced not only minorities that can be easily swayed but average Americans, who view the BOOB TUBE as their main source of news and information. Add to this, the ranks of college professors who only teach far left politics to suposedly “Educated” students and you can see why there are so many easily manipulated by the likes of Chris Matthews.

      Unfortunately, there are too many people who won’t take the time to really research any issue. They follow the Media lapdogs like sheep being led to the slaughter. Any resembelance between Chris Matthews and a real reporter is purely coincidental!

    Chris Matthews is such a creep. He’s calling someone gay because they like to re-enact wars yet he gets a thrill up his leg just from hearing Obama’s voice. What does war re-enactment have to do with being gay? Now a thrill up one’s leg, that I can get as someone being gay. Our son, who is from the North, does Civil War re-enactments as a Confederate solder….and he is active military, and all that makes him is a Civil War buff.

    When I was younger we played a game called “Panzer Blitz”. It was a board game, Germans against the Allies. The purpose was to re-enact major battles. As a multi-player game, somefolks had to the Americans and somefolks had to be the Germans. Should I now “Out” everyone who took the German side in the game as a “Nazi”?

      Wow another Panzer Blitzer, The first one of that company’s games I owned was Gettysburg. Panzer Blitz was the Eastern Front version while Panzer Leader was the Western Front version. It was always fun to have a three way fight with the British and Americans against the Germans against the Russians :-)

      You’re kidding me, right? This is a patched together clip from the out takes, right? MSNBC simply CAN NOT be serious about their “new” direction of “Lean Forward” and have one of their hosts come out with stuff like this.

      Wait, wait! I got it!!!!!

      They are really doing an re-enactment of a news broadcast and they’ve drafted the SNL writers for the script! Hey!!! Wow, you almost had me going there, thinking that maybe MSNBC was actually getting serious about news broadcasting. It‘s realy a piece of street theater and Chris Matthew is playing a role of a progressive journalist who simply can’t comprehend re-enactments. Brilliant!!! Just like Joachim Rivers did! It‘s been a long time since I’ve seen such convincing acting. Even Joachim Rivers didn’t come quite this close. Awesome, dude!!!!!!!
