Posted on January 14, 2011 at 10:44pmI’ll say, as a liberal, that I think Matthews is a dolt 90% of the time (notice I didn’t say 100% of the time, because I actually listen and don‘t dismiss every comment because I think he’s a dolt). Yes, he’s asking questions loaded with his anti-Palin opinions, including interrupting guests who are mostly agreeing with him (Republicans BTW). I find that distasteful in the exteme and typical of his shows.
But there is truth in that video. On the day that President Obama is trying to bring the nation together after a mass murder, Palin has posted a video saying she was the victim of unfair criticism for putting a rifle scope over Giffords district, for her comments about “don’t retreat, reload” and for her other gun related phraseology. On that somber day, she chose to claim to be the victim.
Was she trying to upstage President Obama with her Facebook video? I’m not sure, but if so she surely failed.
Sarah Palin is Sarah Palin, but one thing she’s not is a viable candidate for President.
