Maxine Waters Slams Reince Priebus & GOPs Alleged War on Women

On Thursday evening, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) appeared on Ed Schultz’s MSNBC program where she railed against Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus’ assertion that there is no GOP-led war on women and boldly declared women know who the “enemy” is.

“If the Democrats said we had a war on caterpillars and every mainstream media outlet talked about the fact that Republicans have a war on caterpillars, then we’d have problems with caterpillars,” Priebus said in an interview with Bloomberg TV. “The fact of the matter is, it’s a fiction.”

Waters was less than content with these statements, as she ranted on against the Republican Party’s alleged offenses against females.

“I think that — that statement that he made demonstrates [the GOP's] desperate fear about what is happening with this War on Women that they started. There is a war on women,” she proclaimed. “There has been a lot of discussion about the Ryan budget and what they have tried to do to deny contraception to women, but it’s more than that. It goes to many places in this budget. Whether you’re talking about childcare or Head Start or food stamps, you will see that there’s definitely a War on Women.”

American women, Waters said, know “who the enemy is” and they are prepared to defeat the GOP come November.

“All of them who have absolutely created this War on Women are now going to be taken to task by the women of this country,” she pledged. “We’re sick and tired of them. We know exactly where they’re coming from and Obama is going to be the beneficiary of all of the anger that women have, because we‘re going to be sure that Republicans don’t win.”

Watch the congresswoman unleash these sentiments, among others, below:

Water is known for her over-the-top rhetoric. In February, for example, she called John Boehner and Eric Cantor “demons.”

And Waters , of course, did not mention the War on Faith that many conservatives believe the Obama administration has waged. This latter assertion is based, among other elements, on the contraceptive mandate that will force some church-led institutions to violate conscience.

      The Democrats have created this non-issue about contraceptives. The real issue has always been that the Obama administration and Democrats are trying to force Catholic and other religious entities to provide Abortion drugs and abortions (Catholics – contraceptives) against their religious conscience. No one is telling women that they can’t use contraceptives, just that if it is against their religion, it will not be in health insurance. Women working for these religious entities know full well what the stance of the religious hospital, university, etc before they take a job. If the woman disagrees, then they should work elsewhere. This is all about attacks on religious freedom.

      I am very pleased that many of you clarified for me in your posts…..well at least reminded me anyway……that that was Maxine Waters……I had accidentally clicked the sound “off” on my laptop and for a second I thought I had inadvertently accessed a James Brown music video. But once I clicked the sound back on….and heard “her” voice…..I knew at once that this was not indeed a James Brown video….his screech is much much better than hers…..and of course the biggest difference is that I like James Brown….and don’t like Maxine Waters. Oh if only he and she had been married…..if anyone could shut that gawdawful flap of a trap of hers for good…it would have been James Brown during one of his PCP induced “a$$ whoopin’” sessions.       It’s even simpler than that. Birth control is not illegal, it is not being denied to any woman (or man), it is being made an issue (Progressives are good at making issues, look at global warming), as in they are saying one thing and meaning another.

      Has anyone said birth control was illegal? NO. So why are the Dumocrats having an issue with it?

      Here’s a bottom line to look at it. People live without having sex their whole lives, so why should the “collective” pay for contraceptives instead of the individual?

    She called John Boehner and Eric Cantor “demons.” I think we know who the demons are. Look in the mirror Maxine! When is she going to be held accountable for the charges brought against her last year?? These are the most mean spirited politicans America has ever seen and they should not hold any office due to lack of honesty and civility, let alone all the corruption they are involved in.

      I believe we have a marine sargent being thrown out of the service for calling BO the enemy but racist can call any one she wants the enemy and demonic and we are supposed to think she is doing her job by representing us using the same terminology, what a country be democrate or black you can say what you want be white and the black panters can call for your lynching. or Spike Lee can send out your address so other people can do to you what he hasn’t the nerve to do come face to face with you himself.
