Mayor-Elect Rahm’s Transition Team Sets Record for Fastest Resignation Due to Ethics Violation

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Judy Erwin, a recent appointee to the transition team for the newly elected mayor of Chicago has resigned due to news surfacing about an admitted ethics violation. Erwin was also co-chair of Rahm Emanuel’s campaign. The Tribune detailed the ethics violations:
Erwin, the former executive director of the Illinois Board of Higher Education, admitted using her office e-mail and phone while working on a campaign committee for presidential candidate Barack Obama, using staff resources to plan her trip to the 2008 Democratic National Convention and engaging in campaign fundraising activity while on the job, the state’s Executive Ethics Commission ruled in a decision filed Feb. 16.
After paying a $4000 fine, and reimbursing the state for their lost time, Ms. Erwin resigned her position last summer and also had to promise to NEVER work in state government again. Ever.
Emanuel’s staff claimed that they were not aware of the violations, a position echoed by the guilty party. When the newspaper contacted Judy Erwin about the ethics problems, she resigned almost immediately from the seven-person transition team, stating:
“The bottom line is the mayor-elect has very important work to do and I certainly don’t want to have any distractions, I will be stepping aside from the transition. I don’t want any distractions at all.”
Mission Accomplished.

You know, he and the prez without a birth cert. used to go to the Man Trap on N. Clark. But the media lets them skate on that and everything else. Odumbo may not want his med. records revealed not especially to hide the fact that he was born in Kenya, but that he gets a lot of queer medical attention. LOL. They are doing it in your face and getting away with it. Only some like Beck try to pin them down.

I would like someone to explain too me, how they can be Broke going into office and Millionaires coming out! Please don’t insult my intellegence by saying, they made it in the Stock Market! These Pigs all deserve to be Roasted!… Anyone know what Kiting is? Our Govt’s been doing it for a long time now, and I’m really sick of it! If was anyone else, the Feds would have you locked up and in Prison! So why then, does our Govt. get to do it? Smaller Govt., and the states back in charge of its people! As far as California, and the rest of the states with Huge Deficits, Let them file for Bankruptcy, and then handle Unions with a mediator! Pensions would be gone, down sizing would happen, and have accountants that work with the states there at all times! But I have a feeling this Ill. and Rahm are going to get a hefty payout from the Obama admin! I would love for Cal. and Nancy Pelosi, to raise Cal. Taxes so high to pay off their debt, but I have a feeling Obama will bailout them also! Doesn’t the Bible state that the Stars will fall from heaven, I’m starting to think its refering to States! Don’t we call it Heaven on Earth? So if States start going bankrupt, I’m really going to wonder if this is what they meant!

My aunt just emailed to me photocopies of numerous documents showing Barack Obama’s true birth certificate from Kenya. It was accompanied with numerous supporting documents. It was very credible!
What does it say about Mr. Obama that he would not only spend nearly $1 million — and still counting — to block revelation of his birth records, but intentionally seek the presidency of the United States, while knowing full well that he DOESN’T meet the criteria in the Constitution? What does that say about his evil intentions that he would seek to deceive the American People in this regard? What does that say about the truly devilish nature of the man?

Some Illinoisans have clearly identified that one or two counties in that State control all political matters – simple democracy has at least one fatal flaw.
There is a book, far too expensive for my review and unfound in my public libraries, that outlines this debate that surfaced in early 1900′s. The then conclusion during that debate – heck throw the bathwater out. But wait the baby is still in the pan. The demise of State in the forming of power separation in our Constitution. Treason of the Senate, influenced the 17th Amendment direction.

The movie is about a presidential candidate running with the backing of a rich business woman. I haven’t seen it, but its perported to be a comedy-drama. It was a toned down Hollywood adaption of an edgier stage play. Politics have changed little in 63 years.
