McDonalds’ Customer Arrested For Threatening Employee Who Did Not Honor McNuggets Promotion

Man Threatens to Kill McDonalds Employee Over Chicken Nuggets Promotion

Christopher Martin lost his cool at a South Windsor McDonald’s Drive-thru in April, and was just arrested on warrant last Friday with a charge of breach of peace. What did police track him down for? Apparently an irate Martin threatened to kill a McDonald‘s worker that didn’t know about a chicken nuggets promotion. Hartford Courant reports on the odd turn of events that took place under the golden arches:

“According to Sgt. Scott Custer, the South Windsor incident happened on April 29, when Martin was at the drive-through window of the fast-food restaurant on Route 5.

The employee wasn’t familiar with a restaurant promotion and went outside to check a sign giving information about it, Custer said. Martin got out of his car and threatened to kill the employee, he said.

The encounter was troubling enough that customers wrote down Martin’s license plate number and reported the clash to police, Custer said.”

Yikes.
