anyone who believes in pure evolution, (monkeys turned into people)

i got a question, in your beliefs, why would there still be monkies?
if they evolved into people, wouldn’t the monkies be gone now?

not being sarcastic or trying to prove any points. i’m just wondering what the answer is for that from your point of view.

And it’s a good question that gets summarily ignored by the “smart people”. Species evolve due to changes in their environment that causes them to change metabolically over time…if there was a need for the species to evolve, it goes to reason the less evolved would eventually die out. I‘m not for a second saying that evolution isn’t a fact from a certain perspective, but I’m thinking by now we would have found a little more evidence of the “cross-over”, and that evidence is purely conjecture based upon theories that span thousands and thousands of years.

The arrogance of knowledge often times far outweighs the “stupidity” that is common sense.

I’m not an atheist, Dimmuborgir, but I think I can answer part of your question. The actual theory is not that humans descended from apes or monkeys or anything like that. Rather, all primates (apes, monkeys, lemurs, humans …) evolved from a common “ancestor” species.

There are actually many scientists, including biologists, who see no conflict between the theory of evolution and their religion. The idea, there, being that evolution was the mechanism by which God created Man.

If at some point there was a series of mutations of what had to be a small group of hominids, expanded as a more sucessful Hunter Gatherer group thrived, The group that stayed Monkey only , probably would only be a food source, one source among many for this new“ **** something”Species and remain as monkeys not a competetor

      To answer your question Dimmuborgir:
Humans did not evolve from monkeys. That is an old misconception.
Humans, gorillas, chimps, and monkeys had a common ancestor. This makes us cousins to primates and monkeys but not direct descendants. To use the tree analogy, humans and the rest branched off from our common ancestor, and these lines have been evolving ever since. The race to find this common ancestor has been going on for quite a while, but it is hard to pin down the exact species. This is not a belief or point of view. Evolution can be seen to happen, and the theory of natural selection has lots of evidence to back it up.
Typically though, those liberals who promote evolution do not really understand it either. That has been proven time and time again.

      THEGREYPIPER,

The only problem with that theory is that scientists conclude that there has not been enough time for mutations or slow adaptations to occur. They claim that there must have been transitional forms, for which there is absolutely no evidence. Therefore, there must have been leaps between one form to the next. However, they cannot see any evidence of that in modern history. Thus there conclusions tend to be that leaps in transitional forms have stopped for some reason or another.

Additionally, Darwinian evolutionists have absolutely no speculations about the irreducible complexities in countless lifeforms that would have needed to evolve simultaneously without provocation. They see what they want to see in the strange light that they cast and ignore that which they don’t.

she was not wrong with her statement on the 1st amendment:

The amendment prohibits the making of any law “respecting an establishment of religion”, impeding the free exercise of religion, infringing on the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment has been INTERPRETED by the Supreme Court as erecting a separation of church and state.

also the word “*********” is a sexual term (to graphic to post here) that should be regulated by the FCC but seems to be overlooked.

Hey Reiner – You can’t handle the truth!
Read Thomas Jeffersons letter to the Danbury Baptists.
The reference to the “wall of separation between church and state”, was to re-assure them that they were safe to practice their religion in this country without reprisal from the “state”.
In fact, you liberal elites have bastardized the idea of “separation” to mean that the public is protected from the ten commandments in a courthouse. Or from praying in schools, or from placing a manger scene in a park. To the contrary, Jefferson meant “separation” as a protection of religious freedom FROM the state. O’Donnells question was right on the money…”Where in the constitution is the separation of chuech and state?” The answer is NO WHERE! You can’t handle the truth!
