Mega-Actress Worth $58 Million Caught Trying to Go Incognito During Occupy Protest

She is one of the highest-paid actresses in the world, but $58-million-dollar lady Anne Hathaway feels so much solidarity with the 99%, she chose to join them for an Occupy Wall Street pro-socialism rally on a cold, rainy day in Union Square.
Last year’s Oscars hostess stood alongside NYU students, professors, and labor organizers as she held up a sign that said: ‘Blackboards not bullets’.

Hathaway wanted to show support for the “Students and Workers United” rally in Union Square on Thursday, which was just one of many Occupy Wall Street-affiliated protests in the city.
Hathaway’s films have grossed approximately $3.2 billion.
The Occupy Union Square rally abruptly turned into a mobile flash mob on New York’s Fifth Avenue, causing havoc on the streets and forcing police to shut down one of Manhattan’s busiest intersections with barricades. It appears from photos snapped of the protest that Hathaway marched alongside the Occupiers down the center of the street as opposed to the sidewalks.

Hathaway’s boyfriend, fellow thespian and ivy league graduate Adam Shulman, objected to photographers snapping her picture, amidst a rally where hundreds of people had cameras and the press gaggle was already its own mini-mob. She had tried to blend in with the crowd by wearing a black hooded jacket, grey knit hat and tinted blue sunglasses, but to no avail.
It wasn’t immediately clear from the photos whether Anne joined the Occupiers later on Thursday evening as they tried to storm the Brooklyn Bridge and retake Zuccotti park. Hundreds of protestors and a number of police were injured over the course of the day. The marches, rally, and direct action events were in response to the Occupiers’ eviction from Zuccotti Park earlier in the week.

Anne has beauty and brains! She knows that the difference between a mega-millionaire and an average “Joe” is usually much luck. Hard work and positive attitude will get you rewards but to get to the ‘next level’ whether it be in Hollywood, Wall Street, or Main Street, there is much luck involved. To say that the main reason the top 1% is where they are is because of luck is moronic. Most of them got there by not just working hard, but working harder then everyone else, working longer hours then everyone else, doing the right things to get there and be willing to make the sacrifices necessary. There are exceptions but they are just that exceptions. I do not envy them for their success because I am not willing to make the sacrifices that they are willing to make, I like spending allot of time with my family. At the same time I do not condemn them. I think one of the exceptions to the 1% is in the entertainment industry which is one of the reasons that you see allot of them involved in this garbage. What is funny are the liberal millionaires complaining about the 1%, which they are part of, not paying enough taxes. All THEY have to do is voluntarily pay more taxes every year. So far I haven’t heard of one of these hypocrites doing so.

The problem with your argument as it is also the LEFTs and the OWS crowd is that you fail to understand the cause of the problem. STATISM is central planning and that is SOCIALISM. The NEOCONS are also guilty of it, but growing the STATE comes at the expense of the individual. The State and the collective is elevated. So, a small group of politicians and Beaurocrats makes decisions rather than the marketplace of individual actions of free participants. Essentially the left and OWS want more Statism and Socialism to fix the problems that they have caused.
Remember that there are two groups os wealthy, those that earned it and created it and those that took it from others. The problem is that the State should protect society from this plunder but it has participated in the plunder. To empower the State further will only exacerbate the plunder by the State and its cohorts.
The endgame here, for the elites is to take down the present financial system of US hegemony and establish anew global governance, a global centrally planned socialist or communist World State. This is why the Globalist elite and billionaires like Soros support OWS, they can establish a NWO out of the chaos, the OWS people are just “useful idiots” and the elites will have more power.

I am NOT a socialist nor a marxist nor any other label some people toss around like pebbles. I am conservative on some issues and liberal on some issues. There will always be extremely wealthy and extremely poor people in any society. I have a Masters of Science degree from a top university in the southeast. I have a good, well-paying job. I, like millions of other Americans, work many hours per week and am exhausted on some evenings – I work nights, weekends, and holidays if and when needed. My term ‘wealth disparity’ is due to the fact that middle-class earnings have been relatively flat for the last couple of decades whereas the earnings of the top have increased nearly 300% over the same two decades. I, like millions of other Americans, have had their 401k’s hit hard during this Wall Street roller coaster ride, sure it has gone up again, but that’s not the point. The wealth disparity I speak of is the fact that top executives (CEOs, CFOs, COOs, etc.) during the first half of the 20th century used to earn 10 to 50 times the “average salary”, then it started growing exponentially – in 2005, top execs earned about 262 times the average salary and often this mega salary is NOT based on performance. CEOs have driven some corps into the ground and yet walked away with golden parachutes worth tens of millions. You OK
