Megyn Kelly Cracks Herself Up With Joke About Elizabeth Warren: ‘I’ve Been Drinking Again’

It’s the end of the week. You know, that time when it gets a little nutty and things you probably wouldn’t do or say on a Monday just happen to cross your lips on a Thursday of Friday. That seems to be what happened to Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

(Related: Mika Brzezinski calls Scarborough an ‘idiot’ for impersonation of Elizabeth Warren)

The popular host cracked herself up with a corny joke on Thursday afternoon at the end of her show. While introducing Shep Smith and his program, Kelly explained that several viewers have asked her to interview Elizabeth Warren about Warren’s admission that she used to claim Native American status in college. Kelly couldn’t help it.

Megyn Kelly Cracks Joke About Elizabeth Warren Native American Status: How

“She is more than welcome to come on the program and I already know exactly how I would begin it,” Kelly said. She then raised her hand, palm out,  and said, “how.” Chuckling, she then threw it over to Smith.

“Oh my god, Megyn. Are you kidding me?” Smith asked jokingly. “You’re out of your mind.”

“Shepard, I’ve been drinking again!” Kelly said through her laughs, after placing her head in her hands and facing down at her desk.

“I can tell. You enjoy yourself,” Smith said with a smile. “Wow.”

Megyn Kelly Cracks Joke About Elizabeth Warren Native American Status: How

You can watch the exchange below:

Of course some might disparage Kelly for the joke (HuffPo said she engaged in a “stereotypical Native American greeting”), but it’s important to note that some of her popularity comes from her down-home, I’m-just-like-you persona. She many times asks guests the questions the audience is thinking, fondly talks of her grandma, “Nana,” and will even crack a joke from time to time that is a little corny.

And people love her for it.

Just like Warren, I too have either 1/16 or 1/32 native American blood, and find nothing racist with her joke. It was a segway, and those are usually feeble jokes anyway.

But I do find it amusing that the Dems throw Warren under the bus for her claim to native american heritage, when they don’t throw Obama under the bus for claiming to be black instead of mixed race. At what percentage do you get to call yourself, or self-identify with one race or another. Is it 50%? Is it the one drop rule? Is it like a transgender person who insists they are one sex even though they haven’t had the operation just because they “FEEL” that way?

I personally now refer to my heritage as being like a “Mutt” or “Heinze 57”, cause when my Dad did our family tree back multiple generations, we seem to have a little of everything.

Warren is a joke anyway. She’s the clutz who said Rich people OWE more in TAXES because “they used the public schools, roads, facilities that ALL taxpayers paid for” duh. When Asked “IF they are rich because of those tax-paid-for items then why aren’t all people Rich?” This woman is the poster child for one-note, unable-to-connect-the-dots Liberals. She doesn’t have any solutions. She is merely a parroting place holder for the dictator wanna be in the White House.

Because these ditzy liberals are so “LED” they must assume that all of us are as gullible as they are.
OBAMA and his insane “JULIA” composite (pathetic cartoon which depicts a woman from birth to grave dependent upon the Government”) . I think Obama has mental issues. He needs to be removed from office. He’s a total Communist; probably a Muslim Trojan horse; a total Liberal he is NOT an AMERICAN PATRIOT. Kelly is fun to watch. I don’t always agree with her, but she is not some ditzoid!!

It’s becoming almost common place that the only people who act more baseless and sycophantic than Representative Paul supporters, are the inner circle of Obama supporters. (…But i suppose that isn’t too surprising, considering Paul is equal to Obama on national security and to the left of him on foreign policy.)

GSPLGTR says: “we wont ask how. we’ll just go and find the stuffed ballot boxes and impeach the SOB.” I’m wondering, or guessing, if GSPLGTR is from the X or Y generation? Because I’d pretty much expect such a comment from anyone educated since Jimmy Carter set up the U.S. Dept. of Education to rule over school systems & students. GSPLGTR obviously has no idea what impeachment is, nor who conducts the investigation, nor that impeachment is not removal. Undoubtedly, GSPLGTR also thinks that November 2nd will be the day when a U.S. President & Vice-President are elected by voters going to the polls. As with the impeachment issue, GSPLGTR undoubtedly has no concept of the difference between a popularity contest vote and a meeting of faceless people (i.e., the Electoral College) who, weeks later, decide who will be the President & Vice-President.

      Lord, come quickly.

RJJING. Back in the day while stationed at Ft. Devens, Mass, we would go to “Camp” Drum for winter exercises called “Empire Glacier” if I remember the name given correctly. We would train with other Combat Engineer units (Active/Reserve) in support of Infantry units and others before it became “Ft” Drum.

I hated the weather there but was used to it because of the weather at Devens. I also hated the couple times I went to Germany on “Reforger” exercises. The training was always great, but the cold was numbing at Wild-Chicken and Graff in the winter!! Lol.

TIME_2_END_THE_PAUL_CAMPAIGN_IN_12, I hear you on a lot of that. I actually was stationed in Graf, Hohenfels, and Wildflecken. Have to admit that Wild Chicken was my favorite. I PCSed from there to Drum and used to visit friends from that German tour at Devons.
Yeah, Drum had all sorts of units come in for winter training in the mid ’80s. We had many regular units, Marines, SF, and Ranger units too. As well units from Canada. Drum sometimes had harsher winters than parts of Alaska and much of the training was diverted to Drum for that reason. Got up many a morning to hear Willard Scott tell us that the coldest place in the nation today is…Watertown, NY.
Oh yeah, I believe that I participated in 6 REFORGERs, but I was already in country. The last one that I was there for was ‘93. Just had to investigate a lot of traffic accidents. The Pentagon was pushing safety issues big time and on one of the first days a soldier who failed to fasten his seat belt fell out of the passenger side during a sudden autobahn lane change. Didn’t help that he had his helmet in his lap.

RJJINGADSEN. I was lucky when I was stationed in Germany… no Reforger participation! I was a Senior Instructor at the PLDC/SLC Course in Baumholder (The Rock, lol). The only weather I saw during THAT particular time was the 3 day leadership bivouac we brought students out for nearing the end of the class cycle. It was actually a pretty slack job for Cadre overall… I enjoyed it. It reminded me somewhat of when I was on the “trail” at Ft. Lost-in-the- Woods as a Drill in the fine state of “Missery.” But we would dish the Trainees off to the Training Cadre at whatever training site we were at and smoke and joke in the Cadre shacks until they were finished with ‘em, lol.

TIME_2_END_THE_PAUL_CAMPAIGN_IN_12, Very familiar with Baumholder too. Oddly enough when I was with 7th ATC they had us train in Baumholder because we knew our terrain too well. Also, on my second tour I spent a number of weeks in Baumholder as the NCOIC of the pistol range for each of our BN’s 7 companies to rotate through once a week. Not a bad job for each of us who ran a different range. Four days a week on the range and frankly doing what we enjoyed and I was really a crack shot with the .45. One of our top shots on my civilian police dept too. Just too bad that none of us were allowed to bring our POVs, but it was not too bad after all.

As a person of 1/16 Cherokee ancestry, I am deeply offended…

    BUAHAHA!

No, really, I am offended, but not at Megyn and not because I’m a miniscule Cherokee. I’m offended at Warren.

Why would a Ron Paul supporter like you DOGGY be angered with someone flopping from right to left, from left to right? That’s a typical Ron Paul type attribute…

@Time you made your money from the govt, so ill try to keep this simple for you. Every stance Ron Paul takes is deeply rooted in the constitution wether right or left its based on the principals our founding fathers wanted us to follow. That may fall under either party platforms, or neither like auditing the fed, abolishing the EPA or BALANCING THE BUDGET! If you think your mittens will do any of that your hope less.

Well, I have some correction for Megan or whomever wrote the story. It is not “how” but “Hau” so now they can properly spell the word that means hi how are ya!. lol Wado(means many thanks)
Perhaps Warren has wampum too? I’d like to trade tiipii for wampum, Wado. :o)
