Fox’s Megyn Kelly was not happy to hear that many Republicans have stuffed the omnibus spending bill full of earmarks. On her show Wednesday, she went after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY), Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Sen. Saxby Chmbliss (R-GA) for their earmarks. She also vowed to name more names on “both sides of the aisle.”
Kelly’s mini-rant starts at about 2:14 below. Fox reporter Jim Angle, however, begins the clip with a good overview of the bill and the controversy, including revealing how $18 million in pork is connected to two dead congressman:

Posted on December 15, 2010 at 2:27pmPlease, give us all the earmarks and the names of all who want them. 2012 is close enough for us to prepare. Granted, if any of these pass, the people will ultimately pay for them in one way or the other. Sadly, some are slow learners and have not learn’t the lessons of the past. Or, they are welfare babes and or progressives that want the U.S. fail.

Posted on December 15, 2010 at 2:27pmThis was a pre-done deal. Quid pro quo.
Report Post »If you belive otherwise, you are not paying attention. It was planned, all the acting, anger and posturing is for the camera and people. An act, pure and simple. Each side gets to fund their projects, pay back their States and voters and lobbyists. The Democrats and the Republicans each know what they are doing. They planned every line of this and they each get what they want. The Republicans are using you the same as the Democrats and we are supposed to be the fools who fall for it every time. They filled this bill with everything they could think of so when they cut some things, we are supposed to think they “fought hard.”
Don’t you believe it. There is absolutely no reason what so ever that a single one of any of them even have to vote on this. None. If they want, they can vote on essential parts of it that must be funded and leave the rest for the incomings after the first of the year. That will not happen though because then each will not get to spend what they want and they know it. It’s a pre-done deal.

Why don’t we add a trillion dollars more to this noble cause, that way we can hire thousands of more game wardens and pot cops, give them $100,000+ a year and full pensions for their heroic efforts that are showing such great success.

Posted on December 15, 2010 at 2:34pmI hear ya. Looks like we have some common ground Moss. No bigger waste of money, lives and liberty had been found prior to 2001 than the War on Drugs. Now the War on Terror is giving it a good run for the money, but the WOD does have a few decades head start.
And what has it solved? Drug use is up through the roof at record levels, we’ve accustomed ourselves to warrantless searches and gun control, drugs are hardening and becoming actually dangerous (just like moonshine did during prohibition) and an oddly anti-American notion that we don’t need Constitutional amendments in order for the government to blanket prohibit a substance has taken hold.

Posted on December 15, 2010 at 3:24pmRecall all troops, man the border. Those areas that are prohibited due to smugglers, send in a few combat-proven battalions to clean it out. American troops can be used on US soil against an invading force. They cannot be used against Americans. Illegal immigrants are not Americans, and anyone aligned with the cartels are enemy combatants.

Tax REVOLT April 15,2011. Do not file or send any money into the IRS until they contact you first. Then set up a payment plan for 2011. The fines/penalties will be worth it!!!!
If you usally get money back. That means you have overpaid taxs for that year. This is what the IRS wants. That means the “Government Stupid” had your money instead of you all year. Change your W-2 to more dependants for half the year!! Try to “NOT” get any money back or pay very little in 2012!!
The SSI 2% sounds good The “Govermnet Stupid” wants you to think that they are giving you some extra money. But it is yours to begin with. They are hoping you buy some $100 tennis shoes. Remember though SSI is a retirement Insurance for you IFFFF you live long enought to collect it. The more you pay “INTO” SSI determines how much you get back when and IF you get to collect it!!
