Posted on November 11, 2010 at 3:51pmToday Megyn Kelly announced she was going on a very long vacation with her husband and her little baby son. You could tell she was sooooo happy! Newscasters have a really hard job, and for the ones who work the hardest, I oftentimes wonder how they do it.
We can turn the TV off. But they have to keep reporting some of this stressful information.
Some cultures really value a good laughing fit. It just lets everyone know, “I‘m tired and I’m letting it all go”.

Posted on November 11, 2010 at 3:30pmI love Kelly and her show. She is a breath of fresh air and very passionate about her views and work. I watched her daily. Her show yesterday really gave me something to think about. She had guests on regarding their opinions on “why we voted the way we did in the mid-terms” and if it was also a vote against the Reid, Pelosi and Obama agend and policies. Her guest ( other side of the Isle) stated that we voted Republican only because of jobs and the economy and it had nothing to do with Obama, Reid, Pelosi or their policies and actions. He also said that if the economy had rebounded faster, we all would have voted differently and the elsection would have had a different outcome. I fell off my chair! Thisis so untrue. My family, friends and co-workers would have voted Republican regardless of the economy. We voted the way we did because of these people and Obama. My family and others are mostly Independents, some Republicans and a few Democrats and we all voted Tea or Republican.
They do not their priorities straight even now, after we sent a clear message. Pellosi is asking for a vore on the “Immigration Dream Act” right now for the Lame Duck session. Paying back the hispanic and other voters who helped them keep the few seats they still have. Look at the States that held their seats and positions…hispanic, black and the States in bad financial trouble..gotta keep those social services and handouts coming. If you only had a government handout and welfare check to keep you going…who would you vote for? Your life, food and roof depend on those checks and food stamps. There are many who truly need assistance but there has to be a time limit on how long you can receive these services. Many have been on these services for GENERATION after generation. How is that fair? Welfare Reform should be on the agenda and soon.

We thought we were sending them a message when we shut down the switchboards over obamacare, so I guess we should not be surprised that they still are not listening post-election, right?

The reaffirmation of life is a good way to do it. It just occurred to me that anyone with any taste for intellect or/and beauty would have to take Megyn Kelly over any of the women on MSNBC or CNN – and she is has a sense of humor to boot. What woman hasn’t had a giggling fit like this? I once had one in my classroom that lasted several hours when one of my students was ordered to keep his shoelaces tied together the way he had tied them together to be funny during Mass. My students were delighted to see this very human side of their teacher.
