An unbelievably horrifying video has been posted on a popular cartel-focused blog that shows a number of Gulf Cartel members interrogating and eventually beheading at least three members of their rival Los Zetas, ABC News first reported.
The three-minute, low-quality video shows five shirtless male members of the Los Zetas on their knees, large black “Z”s painted on their chest. All around them are members of the murderous Gulf Cartel holding machetes.
The Zeta captives identify themselves by name when prompted by an unidentified narrator and when asked who sent them, each replies “Z-40.” ABC News reports that the Zetas’ second in command, Miguel Angel Trevino Moralas, is known as “40” in Zeta circles.
“You find yourselves here because you came to f*** us,” says the narrator. “Pay attention, men.”
Then in what can only be described as pure evil, the machete-wielding men begin chopping their prisoners’ heads off, one blunt hack at a time. The process is slow and gruesome.
“This is how all your filthy people are going to end,” the narrator of the video says.
Before the video concludes, the masked Gulf Cartel members hold up three of the severed heads to show the camera. “Very, very good,” replies the narrator.
WARNING: The content of the video is extremely graphic and disturbing and is not recommended for younger readers. We have viewed it but have decided not to embed or link to it.
ABC News has more details:
U.S. has offered a $5 million reward for information leading to the capture of “40,” and he and his two brothers are also under federal indictment in Texas for alleged laundering of cocaine profits through a U.S. horseracing venture.
According to Mundonarco.com, the video was shot in Río Bravo, Mexico, on the U.S. border just south of McAllen, Texas in the state of Tamaulipas. Río Bravo is six miles from the Donna International Bridge border crossing. No date is given for the creation of the video.
The Gulf cartel has been operating out of Tamaulipas state since the 1970s. In 2010, when the Zetas cartel, which had once worked as the Gulf cartel’s security force, went into business for itself, violence in Tamaulipas and the neighboring state of Nuevo Leon soared, with 2,000 dead in 2010 alone. Multiple mass graves have been discovered in the region and beheadings, hangings, and other forms of torture are common.
It appears that Mexico’s drug cartels are engaging in a back-and-forth competition to see which of them can commit the most gruesome and disturbing crime. Now, the cartels are increasingly posting videos of these crimes online to intimidate their enemies.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 3:30pmJanet “Big Sis” Napalitano says that the border is more secure than it ever has been.
Would that be due to her boss selling over 2,200 weapons to the cartels?
Based on “Obama logic,” I suppose that if we sold MORE weapons to the druggies, the border would get even safer?
Please don’t allow Joe Biden to read this. He’ll have it incorporated into his next speech down in old Mexico.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 7:14pmAccording to Mexican investigative reporters, if the cartels quit fighting among themselves they have enough financing, boots on the ground, and fire power to topple the Mexican government. Most of the Mexican politicians, police, and many of the federales have cartel pesos in their pockets and give their loyalty to the drug gangs.
The Sinaloa Cartel has undertaken the construction of many community projects, and at least one hospital in their area, with many locals on the payroll, so they have won the hearts and minds of the people within their home base.
The Gulf Cartel has accomplished about the same. The Tia Juana Cartel, La Familia, the Juarez Cartel, and especially The Zetas, don’t operate exactly the same way, and many people fear them greatly. But, they must be doing a bit of P.R. work to gain the loyalty of at least some of the people in their areas, because they have recruits standing in line wanting to join.
Janet Napolitano says cartels have two hundred points of distribution in major US cities. Many analysts claim cartel influence is much greater and is rampant throughout the entire US, and they’ve made great strides in becoming established just north of the border.
The bottom line to all this is that there is an encroaching enemy criminal organization that is involved in what amounts to a battle zone on the southern border that is threatening the national security of the US, and nobody in government seems to be concerned about the threat.

This is far from over. The brazen acts of these vicious bastards is still unanswered in any meaningful way, and it will escalate.
These people are basically cowards. And in the cowards way, as we all saw in our school years, they will not desist until they meet a determined resistance. Everybody knows this, including the democrats who voted for holding your Attorney General in contempt.
Those that walked out are so blinded by political intrigue and point scoring, that they cannot see the evil before them.
It is not because they are democrats, it is because they think that this is a game. A joust. And they do not, or will not, see the impact on the lives of real people.
These democrats have travelled far from the road walked by the true Americans of their persuasion, such as John Kennedy – to name but one.

If so, what’s the big deal? So a few journalists and innocent civilians get whacked as collateral damage. No big deal, right? Hey, if the POSOTUS can sacrifice a couple of US federal officers in an attempt to create a false emergency involving US guns being run into Mexico to achieve a political end, then the means are justified, right? And which group of people are largely responsible for creating a demand for illegal drugs–paycheck conservatives with morals, or food stamp entitlement-minded amoral liberals? Answer: SOMETHING ELSE THAT IS JUST AS BAD. Your position proves you have not logically examined this issue.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 4:15pm@Barber2 – Sort of. If all drugs are legal, then the price drops to nothing. Gangs don’t kill each other for bootlegging alcohol anymore, but they used to. If you eliminate the profit from drugs you eliminate the violence. After the profit is gone, the only things left for them are human trafficking & extortion but these gangs already do that these days too. The difference is they make way more money from drug trafficking.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 5:38pmI can‘t figure out what’s wrong with you people. As conservatives, I assume you know something about free markets and capitalism. You know what happens when you limit supply with regulations. The price goes up. Demand does not go down as much as you hope. If you need evidence of this, just look at the demand of cigarettes. The government quadrupled the price yet demand stayed the same. Personally, I don’t need an economic text to figure out that drug laws benefit drug dealers. I know drug dealers. These guys don’t want to see drugs legalized. They’re exactly like many of you. They want strict drug laws. The difference is they want to protect their business, where as you have deluded yourselves into thinking it’s a benefit to society.
While it’s true that there will always be violent aholes, I argue that some of these guys are only violent because of the money involved. Have any of you actually been in a gang? Ever have someone fire a gun at you? Have bullets whiz passed your head? It’s not something you enter into for sh!ts and giggles. The money is what makes it worthwhile. Remove the profit and all you’re left with are a few psychopaths who will end up killing eachother anyway.
Report Post »acidovorax
Posted on June 29, 2012 at 9:24pmBed, they’re violent, because the black market and heavy law enforcement incentivizes the most ruthless to rise to the top. Only those willing to do whatever it takes to reach for the huge profits remain in the game. The drug warrior mentality in the US don’t use economic reasoning to base their agenda, only the “noble cause” of fighting the bad guys and “never surrender” attitude. And so the cycle perpetuates itself.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 2:29pmIt was previously the state we called home and I have family there (granddaughter, daughter, son-in-law). We may relocate back there sometime soon however I am growing ever so more reluctant daily due to the proximity to the porous border.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 3:57pmDo people think there’s something magical about the border that keeps them safe from these demons?

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 5:01pm@Burnt – Magical??? A border that is enforced and has severe consequences for a breach?? You think that I may interpret that as magical?? Nope, I insist that it be secured but I realize my requirement is absurd and porous it shall be so that the “demons” have their way with us. Pathetic huh?

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 1:18pmDon’t worry about it America! The TSA is going to keep us safe by groping everyone in the airport and then they are going to be coming to a highway and neighborhood near you! Of course, you could argue that the TSA has not thwarted a single terrorist attack…but, then, aren’t you being a bit too harsh! Our government IS NOT keeping us safe and they aren’t trying to keep us safe…otherwise, THEY WOULD SEAL OUR BORDER! Pelosi is condemning the Contempt of Court charge against Mr. Holder? Really? I think all of congress and the executive branch of our government should be drug tested immediately…we may find out that they are getting their hallucinogens directly from the fellas who just sawed off these heads in this video! Don‘t tell me that you’d be surprised to learn that? Nothing is surprising after the day we had yesterday…nothing!

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 1:20pmYou know what they should do, build our military bases right on the boarder. That way when they cross the boarder they are now trespassing on a military base and make them all “Deadly Force Authorized” areas!
