Mexico Police Find 513 US-Bound Migrants in Two (!) Trailer Trucks

TUXTLA GUTIERREZ, Mexico (AP) — Police in Mexico’s southern Chiapas state found 513 migrants on Tuesday inside two trailer trucks bound for the United States.
Hundreds of thousands of migrants travel through Mexico each year in the hopes of reaching the United States, but this was the largest group rescued in recent years.
Chiapas state police discovered the migrants while using X-ray equipment on the trucks at a checkpoint in the outskirts of city of Tuxtla Gutierrez, the National Immigration Institute said in a statement.
Police also arrested four people accused of smuggling the migrants, who are from Central and South America and Asia, Chiapas state prosecutors said in a statement.
The alleged smugglers tried to escape police but were chased down and captured, prosecutors said.
The immigration institute said 410 of the migrants were from Guatemala, 47 from El Salvador, 32 from Ecuador, 12 from India, six from Nepal, three from China and one each from Japan, the Dominican Republic and Honduras. There were 32 women and four children among them.
The migrants told authorities they had agreed to pay $7,000 to be taken to the United States, the institute said.
In January, Chiapas state authorities discovered 219 migrants squeezed into a trailer truck.
Most of those migrants were from Central America but six were from Sri Lanka and four from Nepal.

It is incredible that every train that passed through the city is literally loaded with people on top of it. The lengths these people will go through is truly amazing! Some people give their whole lives savings to just have a taste of freedom. We still are the beacon of light on the hill for all to see. May out Heavenly Father comfort those who sacrifice so much and bless them with safety. Good Job Mexico with your souther border patrol. Just imagine how many more you could catch if you invested more money protecting your borders instead of hiring New York lawyers to take away our guns.

They are common in Northern Michigan, where our state and federal government pay for them of course, with entitlement programs and our schools are full of them at the start of each school year, within a few months they migrate south.

Evening, and no not just the Americans going south; one of the progressive trio I have to deal with here has looked into Mexican citizenship, as I posted a few months ago, and he was appaled (his word) at ‘how impossible it is to become a citizen of their land.’
Part of the problem in Mexico is old fashion corruption and bribery. I am anymore wondering just how much of that corruption is also in the states among corporations, politicians and the like as well.

Not only are businesses taking advantage of them with lower wages, but legal residents who take advantage of them from high rent and the threat of turning them in if they don’t pay. The Catholic activist recognize contribution of illegal immigrants to the United States of America by supporting their access to healthcare and education and to make Texas drivers’s licenses available to them. Catholic activist oppose attempts to reduce access to healthcare and education for illegal immigrants and oppose a fence along the Texas-Mexico border.
Entering the United States of America without valid identification is illegal immigration.

Also, Obama did not get elected because of the catholic vote. There are a lot more protestants than catholics in this country and a lot more of them voted for Obama. This also would not cause me to hate a particular person whether it be for the faith they practiced or that they voted for the man.
You really are sad and need to reevaluate the principles you hold dear. Think about love and hate and which one you have more of in you.
