Miami Police Shoot and Kill Naked Man ‘Eating’ Face of Another Man

Miami police shot and killed a naked man on Saturday whom witnesses said was eating the face of another man, the Miami Herald reported:
According to police sources, a road ranger saw a naked man chewing on another man’s face and shouted on his loud speaker for him to back away. Meanwhile, a woman also saw the incident and flagged down a police officer who was in the area.
The officer, who has not been identified, approached and, seeing what was happening, also ordered the naked man to back away. When he continued the assault, the officer shot him, police sources said. The attacker failed to stop after being shot, forcing the officer to continue firing. Witnesses said they heard at least a half dozen shots.
The attack occurred around 2 p.m. on a pedestrian walkway just south of the Herald’s offices.

With the attacker dead, lying nude on the pavement, officers and paramedics were able to get to his victim and rush him to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Police sources say the man had virtually no face and was unrecognizable.
Larry Vega said he witnessed the attack, writing to Local 10, “I stopped a City of Miami police officer and informed him that a homeless man was killing another person by biting and ripping his face to death.”
Vega also said, “The police officer confronted the aggressor, and he was like a rabid dog and confronted the officer. Then the officer shot the person four times.”
According to the Herald, investigators believe the attacker may have been suffering from “cocaine psychosis” — a “drug-induced craze that bakes the body internally and often leads the affected to strip naked and try to cool off.”
Police believe the victim may have been homeless and laying down when the attacker pounced.
“They attempted to separate them, there was some sort of confrontation,” Det. Willie Moreno of the Miami Police Department told WPLG.
Police have not released the names of the men or the officers involved.

It is interesting to me how some one who is so staunchly and aggressively defensive about ‘rugged individualism’ immediately throws up a flare to call for help from the “SWAT” team to deal with some one he deals as unsavory. Couldn’t fight your own battle? Had to rely on some one else to do your dirty work? Wow. Rugged ‘individualism’ indeed. Sounds like socialism to me. SOCIALISM: a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. My first comment (which questioned how you could draw a line between naked cannibalism and politics) was apparently too much for these guys to handle and so it was pulled off the site. But I guess that’s routine for this crowd – if you can’t beat the argument, delete it and see only what you want to see.
But to respond to your post, Cozmo, I know how Portland, OR is and in your particular area, I agree with you. Hippie mentality is elitist. It is a completely hypocritical credo and I hate it as well. Report Post »1) Did the attacker know the the victim? The brutal defacing would indicate the attacker may have been HIGHLY cheesed off… which indicate he may have known the victim… some perceived wrong may be at play.
2) Are drugs confirmed? If so, what?
3) Beyond drugs, what pre-existing mental health issues and criminal history can be attributed to the attacker?
4) Why the hell did the victim not defend himself? You’d think adrenaline would have been flowing with the first bite.
5) What the hell does this statement mean? “They attempted to separate them, there was some sort of confrontation.“ Who is ”they?” What confrontation? By the report, the aggressor simply attacked. Moreno‘s statement doesn’t concur with the report. Did citizens try to intervent? Did cops ask nicely before shooting this animalistic freak?
As is sometimes the case when a story is first revealed, details are lacking. Hopefully The Blaze will update this story.
Zombie junkie? Nope. Just a crazed naked man. Zombies make for great fiction, nothing more.

What you’re not acknowledging is that we are seeing a HUGE increase in psychotic behavior in everyday life caused by mental illness and drug/alcohol abuse. Look at the historic accounts and you will simply NOT see the level of depravity that you see now. Yes, you will see crime … but there is a reason why Jack the Ripper was such a huge sensation: because it represented unthinkable behavior not seen by that generation. Nowadays, if you were to read of a modern day JTR, you wouldn’t bat an eye. And look at many of the comments left here … see how many people are making a joke out of this story. It demonstrates how jaded this generation has become to unspeakable violence because many today are so emotionally dead. No, the evidence ALL points to a sharp increase in the frequency of extreme violence.

I stand by my statement that we are no more depraved or violent (save for the scope that we can now inflict ill upon each other… modern surgical and chemical abortion come to mind along with the Holocaust); read history, hell, read the Bible or Koran. People have been piling up skulls, throwing people in mass graves, aborting the unborn, getting messed up on drugs and burning piles of victims from antiquity. We look for doom and gloom in our calendars, in the coloring of caterpillars, the color of the sun as it rises and sets, comets, and the news. And I linked to the original article. It appears this story was and still is a mess: Two guys were shot, one guy was beating the other guy’s head off the ground, number of shots fired, etc.
What’s funny about drug abuse in this country now is that it is the legal drugs that are being abused and killing people at a record rate. So can we agree the road to hell may sometimes be paved with good intentions?

Posted on May 27, 2012 at 2:31pmHmm, I seem to remember something from a few years ago where somebody’s pet Chimpanzee ate the face off of some woman… In this current case I read where there is some kind of big Hip Hop convention going on that this current face-eater was apparently effluent overflow from. Last year something happened at that convention where cops had to pump 150 rounds into some car to subdue its contents. I was thinking maybe amphetamine psychosis from meth or something. I have seen some unholy meth monsters before that deserved a baseball bat to the bridge of their nose. I have read speculation that it was meth in this guy, but now I‘m thinking maybe it was pcp or ’angel dust’ the animal tranquilizer. The deal with pcp is that as a tranquilizer it takes away whatever self control you might have and it brings out fully the person’s inner animalistic nature. Lots of dope heads have used pcp without eating the soft fleshy parts of someones face off, although they said it gave them powerful muchies. Animalistic nature of a black guy coupled with insatiable hunger? Readers, give thanks to God almighty that you were not born into a corrupt system like that…

Did you not read where the mans ENTIRE face was ripped off “unrecognizable”, and the attacker refused orders to stop, even kept attacking after being shot? The police officer did the world a favor by removing this dreg from society and saved the tax payers the cost of going to court.

I’ve SEEN people who have cocaine psychosis and although they were off their nuts loony, none of them even came close to eating the face off another person. OTOH, you *DO* see this type of cannibalistic behavior with PCP psychosis.

I don’t think coke either, I’ve done my fair share of coke and crack and have had friends OD but none of us ever got even remotely close to doing something like that even after we spent 48 hours with no sleep.
