Michael Moore: ‘Occupy Movement’ Obama’s Only Hope For Reelection

Left-wing filmmaker and reluctant “1%’er” Michael Moore spoke during a book signing at Barnes & Noble in White Plains on October 24. During the Q&A session that followed, Moore was asked how liberals can convince others to reelect President Barack Obama. Moore’s answer was simple: Occupy Wall Street and its satellite movements.

“If Obama stands up for the working, middle class over the next year, he can pull it off…I don‘t know how we can ’make him’ do that other than through the Occupy movements,” Moore said plainly. He went on to assert that Obama has “tried to have empathy” for occupiers “all over the country.”

“Maybe some good will come out of this,” Moore said, adding that protests will give Obama the “push” he needs to beat the GOP in the next election.

      And we are not done falling yet! Moore pretty much just said in a round about way through intimidation by the occupiers Pharaoh Obama could get re-elected! If he just gives in to them and starts flexing his power to go around Congress again and again they will re-elect him.

      Beck has warned about this to be careful who you get in bed with b/c they will turn on you or in this case blackmail you. The Pharaoh wants a second term to finish this 100 yr plan of proggies he will bow to the occupiers! He will go around Congress, since he has made it clear repeatedly with no retaliation from them, and pass whatever he needs to through executive order or new regs to satisfy them. In essence Cass Sunstein is his ace in the sleeve.

      The last few days I have grown increasingly concerned about where we are headed, these protesters are gaining ground like a virus and there is no anti-virus to stop them from our leaders. FYI Oakland just bent over and is letting them stay in place, giving in just as Bloomberg has in NYC. That is not good, its a victory and empowers them!

      There is no Lone Ranger, Jedi Knights, Jack Bauers coming to our rescue. That someone you are waiting for to do something is staring back at you when you look in the mirror. http://SavingtheRepublic.com

      just a few years ago obama was their only hope… before he was elected, he promised to end the wars and bring the troops home, told us all to stop this petty bickering amongst the parties, said he would strictly follow the constitution and not resort to executive orders like bush did, repeal the patriot act, etc, etc… there is no way that they are obama’s “hope”. they are a direct result of his continued NWO policies… obama = EPIC FAIL.

      His only chance is a despotic move of an aggressive tyrannical nature because he’s “unelectable”? A “police state” is his best chance?

      Where is the handicapped brain cell that comes up with this BS? He can’t be “re elected” so a state of emergency is his only hope of ‘reelection’? Worse, what does it say about people (these in general and MM specifically) and intelligence?

      The stupidity on display from the beginning of this theater has been frightening. But more frightening is the acquiescence with which government in EVERY state where these criminal bums are mooching have accepted this.

      If I didn’t know better, I’d say state and federal governments are as involved in this as the “protesters” themselves.

      thank you. i have been telling my wife that this is the ultimate goal. she knows this but does not want to accept it. i’m telling all of my friends on the blase do not be fooled this is exactly what is going to happen. once he does this congress has no power. is it me or have you noticed that gang crime has not been in the news? you have read about the gang enrollment in our armed services. you must remember that he is an organizer and nothing more. what are you going to do when they knock on your door and want your guns and your home alone? or your kids are there. this is areal problem america.

While I believe they are trying to setup the perfect coup “w/o firing a shot”, I have too much faith in patriotic Americans. I don’t think we will be sitting around or hiding in our homes… unless they turn the military inward.

      The question I have which I haven’t seen addressed is what will the leaders of the military branches do when faced with direct, albeit unlawful, orders from the commander and dictator to suppress our protests and actions? Will the military leadership stay neutral, similar to Egypt? Will the soldiers follow military leaders or the traitorous regime?

      I have the utmost respect for our military and want to be optimistic, but as I have never served I’m not sure what goes into these thoughts and decisions by our troops. Any insightful comments are appreciated!

      The US Military Academy at West Point, NY has the following motto:

      DUTY. HONOR. COUNTRY.

      All US military conceptualize this motto into their own traditions and mottos.

      The Joint Chiefs of Staff take the same oath as all US military officers take. Interestingly, Regular and Reserve military officers oath does not contain a provision to obey orders while National Guard and Enlisted Oaths do.

      I don’t know if the Joint Chiefs will chose to obey or not obey. But that is not the real question. The question is will the lower ranks, who tend to be conservative, obey or will they consider it an illegal order.

      There is no time limit on the Oath of Office and the Oath of Enlistment. There are many veterans, like myself, who believe we remain bound by our oath. Who knows, maybe we will see thousands of veterans linked arm to arm peacefully protesting. I doubt that any active duty will shoot us. Also, many of us have the equipment, knowledge and skill to defend the Constitution if it comes to that.

    This is the first time I agree with Moore. Without the old hippies, college whiners, freeloaders, druggies, perverts, and union thugs voting for him, Obama will be toast. And why is that? The rest of the country has seen him for what he is, an incompetent, arrogant, bungler who is in way over his head.

    Wasn’t that long ago. Mikey said he was not happy with Obama, he was not doing enough. BUT LETS GET HIM ELECTED AGAIN! All the “libs” are not happy with Obama, they claim, but you won’t be able to get them to say his failures. Or who they want instead of Obama.
