Michele Bachmann Blasts ‘Perrycare’ in New Video

Michele Bachmann Blasts Perrycare in New Video

Fresh on the heels of the recent Tea Party Republican presidential debate, GOP candidate Michele Bachmann is continuing her scorn of rival Rick Perry’s executive order mandating HPV vaccinations for young girls.

In a recently released video, Bachmann labels the Texas governor’s executive order “Perrycare,“ likening it to ”Obamacare“ or any other ”care“ that ”mandates a family’s healthcare choices and violates the rights of parents on these issues…”

Bachmann states:

“There are many important issues in this presidential campaign – including the role of government, abuse of executive power and crony capitalism,” she says in the web video. “As a mother of three daughters, I believe that parents are the ones who should decide whether or not their young daughters should receive injections for sexually transmitted diseases. These are decisions that are best left to parents, the children and their doctors and should take into consideration the child’s health and the family’s values.”

“Whether it’s Obamacare or Perrycare I oppose any governor or president who mandates a family’s healthcare choices and violates the rights of parents on these issues – especially if the decision-making process occurs behind closed doors, bypassing legislative action, and favors campaign contributors over families. That’s not right. As president, I’ll do what’s right for families.”

Watch for yourself, below:

Editor’s note: Blaze blogger Meredith Jessup thinks Bachmann‘s criticism of Perry’s vaccination order won’t do much to help her campaign. Click here to find out why.

Both of Perry’s parents survived cancer. He hates the disease and well before any of this vaccine business, he did a lot for research and victims (not as a photo op, many things he did the press will never know about). But the fact that he did not use the “emotion” card at the debate although Ms. Bachmann did, speaks volumes about him. He manned up and took responsibility for making a mistake.

Bachmann is beating a dead horse to try and shore up her flagging campaign. The vaccine was not approved by the TX Legislature and was never given period. Bachmann has been shrill and vicious with her attacks on Governor Perry. This vaccine does NOT cause mental retardation. Instead of checking her information, she lied to a national audience. A President needs to be thoughtful and measured. She is neither and is way in over her head. She appears to being trying to secure a VP position. I would say it is a big fail.

I wish that she would do something with the Supreme Court to get it reinstated and renegotiate the contract to where the government can’s spend it on anything but its intended purpose.

      First TEXAS, now:
The state of California has just passed bill AB499, which will permit minor children as young as 12 years old to be vaccinated with sexually transmitted disease vaccines like Gardasil without parental knowledge or parental consent. This means that if you live in California, school or medical personnel would be allowed to vaccinate your child against an STD without your ever knowing it.

If Ron Paul DOESN’T win, then AMERICA LOSES. It’s as simple as that.
It’s a LOSE/LOSE situation. You either vote for ANOTHER PHONY conservative and they get in and do the SAME crap, or we get 4 more years of Ohmamma.

Just look at who the other candidates are trying to sound like.
Just look at who the media is trying to either ignore, or demonize, and THAT is the candidate that threatens their little crap game, and will respect his OATH to the constitution.
      Speaking of OATHS.
The MILITARY has given more donations to Ron Paul than ALL of the other Republican candidates

Gardasil HPV vaccines found contaminated with recombinant DNA that persists in human blood
(NaturalNews) In seeking answers to why adolescent girls are suffering devastating health damage after being injected with HPV vaccines, SANE Vax, Inc decided to have vials of Gardasil tested in a laboratory. There, they found over a dozen Gardasil vaccine vials to be contaminated with rDNA of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The vials were purchased in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Poland and France, indicating Gardasil contamination is a global phenomenon.
This means that adolescents who are injected with these vials are being contaminated with a biohazard — the rDNA of HPV. In conducting the tests, Dr. Sin Hang Lee found rDNA from both HPV-11 and HPV-18, which were described as “firmly attached to the aluminum adjuvant.”…

Bachmann is right on this issue. Perry’s willingness to simply sign executive orders stinks of Obamaism. It‘s too bad Bachmann isn’t consistent in her positions w/ the Patriot act. I think if she did at least she could have consistent principled integrity. Unfortunately, many people have heard the “Barack Obama is a one term president” rhetoric one time too many, and her numbers are showing it. Bachmann leaves me completely uninspired about the future if she was President. That‘s one of the main reasons I’m supporting Ron Paul, his unwavering belief in individual liberty is paramount to preserving any semblance of a free and independent America, not to mention jump-starting the economy.

The cities have had to FORBID them going into the left lane because they would shut down the highway if they didn’t. In Central Texas, the “no left lane for trucks” zone is now over 70 miles long! I hope you now understand how bad it is.

When Perry worked with some folks to come up with the idea of the TTC, it was merely to come up with a solution to this mess. I considered it forward-thinking and visionary, EXACTLY what we need in a leader.

But then the Texas Department Of Transportation (TxDOT) got ahold of it. UGH. The TxDOT is made up of lifetime government workers who see things from a “how big can we make it and how much money can we bring in” perspective. It got out of control within three years, and by 2007, they were talking about taking hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland to get it done.

It was after this point that people like Bill White, the Democrat running against him for Governer, started calling it “Rick Perry’s Trans-Texas Corridor” (Kay Bailey jumped in, too). Knowing the history of the TTC, I felt this was so unfair.

Everyone wanted the TTC prior to the TxDOT expansion of it.

Hey Republicorp-What happens when the busy working parents misses the notice sent home by the school regarding the HPV shot??? I will tell you what happens-Little Mary gets the shot without the parent’s knowledge!

I am so floored at how many people are so ignorant of Perry’s record and projects he promoted as governor of Texas! Simply unbelievable.

Perry reminds me of one of those Evangelical Preachers that you see on TV who then eventually get busted in some sex or money scandel.

Perry is a great talker just like Obama!

I wil vote for Sponge Bob Square Pants if he is the only choice I have against Obama, but honestly, M. Bachman is not doing herself any favors by going after Rick Perry. I was “warm” on her but am now totally turned off by her ranting. No wonder they make fun of us. She has purposely blown this up for political purposes and that makes her just like everyone else now.

i have to agree with you on this one, she should let it go, i was looking toward her also, but,we need to unite, not tear each other apart, we will need everyone in 2012, we must find someone who while not perfect will represent and defend the American people and this great countries freedoms.

Sheesh….I like her conservative view. Men of honor publically admit their mistakes. Perry did that. I don’t know if it was sincere or not. But, what I do know is that she does not get that concept. On her defense. Croney capitalism is a cancer in our government and needs to be rooted out. Her not understanding she should have left alone the apology speaks volumes and shows to me that she is trying to make hay from something that is not going to work. I thought she would rise above the politics. Seems not so much.

      Republicorp,
      Check this out
Plyler v. Doe 1982 – Texas got spanked by SCOTUS for trying to charge illegals tuition for public schools. Ms. Bachmann was mistaken, the law that allowed illegals in state tuition was passed in ’05 after the Attorney General told the legislature that the ’01 bill was unconstitutional because it violated the ’82 decision. They were about to get sued again. I have more info but this is the short version.

I am so sick of Bachmann! Please GO AWAY! I am from MN and used to like her but the more crap that she spews forth the less I respect her. She only won Iowa straw because she is from there. I can’t see her ever winning the GOP nomination. I WOULD STILL VOTE FOR HER OVER IMAM OBAMA ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!!!

I am with her on this one, that fact that he did this mandate has to be a huge issue when it comes time to decide who to vote for. I am not completely convinced Perry wouldn’t do these same kind of things on the national level which scares me.

      SJREAMER.

Let’s look at this pragmatically. First, Bachman holds likely the best and most conservative view of the Republican Candidates. Second, Perry holds many of those, but, is playing the political game with a couple of issues….especially illeagle immigration. But, the fact is, he did what no other candidate, including Romney would do….he manned up and admitted he made a mistake and would not do that again. He went on record and know’s he would be excoriated in the future if he ever, ever used an executive order to do something like that again. I think he was sincere….if not merely for a matter of expediency. But, the man said it. I don’t think he would do that if he were elected to the White House. Now with respect to the immigration thing…that’s another story. Michelle on the otherhand shows either a political bent that Americans are tired of as she pursues this and in my mind shows me she does not know where to pick her battles. Or, she does it to help her chances. That’s not Honor. That’s politics of which we are all tired of. She was doing so well up to now…..

When Rep. Bachmann finally bows out of the Presidential race (which won’t be long from now), her endorsement of a remaining candidate will be like political hot-potato. She is a liability to the national Conservative movement – almost exclusively because of the successful attacks by the Mainstream Media. That’s a tough fact to acknowledge, but a fact none the less.

exactly. but i do agree with her view that laws should not be written behind closed doors, and they should not be able to bypass legislation action or political money and favors over the will of the people, but all of this infighting is not going to help anyone, most of all this country, we all must find someone who has the same views as we do .who ever that may be ,and vote for them, stop the infighting, not one candidate is perfect ,everyone has flaws and but we must decide on one and stand with him or her, even though they might not be perfect, at least they will have the American peoples best interest in mind.

Come on Michelle. This is a time to take on Barry. You can have differences with Perry and thats fine but this in the over scheme of things is a minor topic. Lets get on to other things. Perry has stated he wishes he would have done things different. I take him at his word. You are so right on so much that is pro America and Values. Move on past this stuff and get going on why you would be better than Obama. Enough with this side issue topic.

Manster, you sound like someone that doesn’t want your candidate revealled for who he really is. As a Texan, I am aware of Perry’s RINO activities. Perry will say or do anything to get elected. Perry was more than willing to turn the roads in Texas into TOLL ROADS, screwing the people, and to turn them over to foreign entities in order to get them to finance his political aspirations. Perry is a liar and the truth is not in him…. AND, RINO Romney is worse. If you like Obama Care, vote for Romney… because he will give you more of the same.
