Michele Bachmann Hit With Glitter Attack, Organized Plot Exposed.

Is glitter the new weapon-of-choice for the Left? Based on the (lack of) police response to these sparkling assaults, one can assume that ‘glitterings’ will probably continue to occur and with greater frequency.
Four weeks ago Newt Gingrich was covered in glitter at a book signing… Last week Tim Pawlenty was targeted for ‘glittering’ by a gay rights activist in San Francisco. Today, in her home state of Minnesota, after speaking to a crowd of enthusiastic supporters at the RightOnline conference, presidential candidate Michele Bachmann was the latest conservative to be ‘glittered’ by a protester.
The attackers see nothing wrong with their actions. But one wonders what the reaction would be if someone doused First Lady Michelle Obama with glitter or decided to deliver a ‘rainbow of pride’ to Nancy Pelosi? It is safe to assume that the perpetrator would probably be hit with a Taser, wrestled to the ground, cuffed, and then hauled off to jail.
The three recent strikes against conservatives have yielded not a single arrest. Instead, the attackers usually end up on television, or in the newspaper.
The liberal organization GetEQUAL is promoting these attacks on any politician who disagrees with their position on gay marriage. In addition, they are offering to train anyone who might be interested in learning how to attack a politician.

1) Eliminating free speech by harassing and attempting to silence anyone who disagrees with them;
2) Preying on children by indoctrinating and recruiting them into their lifestyle;
3) Imposing their beliefs on others through activist judges and lawmakers requiring that everyone actively promote homosexuality in every institution (schools, workplace, churches, etc.);
4) Destroying marriage and undermining the traditional family in order to annihilate any moral standard of behavior;
5) Intolerance toward anyone who does not willingly submit to their agenda;
fighting for a discriminatory and unconstitutional double standard of justice by demanding that crimes against homosexuals be punished more severely than the same crimes against heterosexuals through ‘hate crimes’ legislation,
6) And deceptively portraying homosexuality as a harmless and victimless behavior.
One of the demands of homosexuals is protected class status as a ‘minority.’ Although they want special protection and special rights, being homosexual isn’t the same as being an ethnic minority. We choose our sexual behaviors, not our skin color. To equate gays with any true ethnic group is a travesty of logic. Homosexuality can only be equated and compared with other sexual behaviors or fantasies, legal and illegal, like heterosexuality, sadomasochism, bestiality, necrophilia, rape and pedophilia. Ban Sam

As I said when Pawlenty got “attacked” there is no security for those in the conservative movement. If I was Bachmann I would file charges against these monsters, I dont care if its glitter. Ya know you will get some knockoff /copycat who is a few sandwiches short of a picnic who wont be showering the next person with glitter! Dont say it cant happen, we hear/see stories all the time of the extreme version of this where the victims end up disfigured after an attack. It will get to that point b/c there have now been what 4 of these attacks. How many more until someone gets hurt by a copycat using a dangerous substance? Maybe its time potential presidential candidates get some unexpected security from copycats of the patriot riders or something. Maybe the TEA party ppl should organize security of their own comprised of members who are LE military etc!

Some sort of retaliation might yield animal-like satisfaction for some… but the left media, a dwindling hand full of enlarging knit wits, would blow the thing all out of whack. A couple of years ago a big win woke up a sleeping giant. Now, why not let a little glitter stand up waves of better founded passions and voices? Sometimes, it takes many of honor to defeat one, or a few, with narrow intent and disruptive style. Such is the American backbone and spirit.

Doing this would really take the “shine” off of the people who had planned to toss glitter. I’d just sprinkle a handful of the stuff over my head at the beginning of the speech, then tell the would-be “glitter-ers” that they might as well go home because their job had already been done.
But – most of you are correct in wondering where is the security when this happens. What if the glitter was actually a harmful substance?
And – “Gay Rights”? Are gays being denied the same rights as all other Americans? ABSOLUTELY NOT! They just want “special” laws pertaining only to them. Should we also pass special laws for other groups of people? Perhaps alcoholics should be allowed to drive drunk, and pedophiles should be allowed to molest children, just because that’s “how God made them”?
If ya’ wanna play dingle-dangle with the personal equipment of your own gender, then that’s your choice, but you don’t get special rights granted to you because of that choice.

I don’t agree with throwing anything at somebody. It’s an action of hostility borne out of anger and hatred. They’re trying to mask that by using glitter (inoffensive and almost playful, right?) but it’s the same thing as throwing a stone, and it comes from the same place within the individual.
