Michelle ‘Hell’: Bruni Book Says First Lady ‘Can’t Stand Job’

‘Wildly indiscreet’ is how the Daily Mail is describing the new book Carla and the Ambitious. Bruni “collaborated” on the book.

Miss Bruni reveals that Mrs Obama replied when asked about her position as the U.S. president’s wife: ‘Don’t ask! It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’
Details of the private conversation, which took place at the White House during an official visit by Nicolas Sarkozy last March, emerged in Carla And The Ambitious, a book written in collaboration with Miss Bruni.

While Carla the Ambitious is an authorized biography, the talk in France is about another book that is very much unauthorized:

The Independent had been playing up Carla and the Ambitious as pretty soft:

Shocks are even less likely to abound in the authorised alternative. Carla and the Ambitious was prepared with the co-operation of the first lady, and the authors, Yves Derai and Michael Darmon, focus their attention on her time as the President’s wife.

But with the new headlines about Michelle Obama, the authorized book may have successfully diverted attention from the unauthorized one which certainly is not favorable to Bruni:

The US first lady, it says, “does not appreciate the star system and is not keen to be associated with the sulphurous French first lady,” citing Mrs Obama’s decision to spend her free time at the G8 in Aquila in July last year with Sarah Brown.

“Nicolas (Sarkozy’s) bling-bling and Carla’s tumultuous former (love) life don‘t make the Sarkozy couple very good company in the Obamas’ eyes”, according to the book, which claims that the US first couple had long tried to steer clear of their French counterparts.

So, if that’s true (and who knows at this point) then maybe Michelle Obama would have been unlikely to share any serious deep revelation with Bruni about any kind of “hell” she might be in.  Maybe it was just idle chatter, or the First Lady having a bad day.

Finally for those of you deeply invested in Carla Bruni’s well being…anyone…anyone…well at least Woody Allen is trying to knock down the rumors that Bruni needed 32 takes to complete a scene in his upcoming movie::

    Michelle Obama’s 1985 thesis, titled “Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community” was taken Off the Princeton Internet site, as so many of the Obama tales are, saying it could not be made available until November 5, 2008…the day After the November elections.

      She certainly is out of touch with reality if she said all of the above. You could say the same thing about the people who voted them in. I still believe that he is Kenyan born. At least that’s what his Kenyan Grandmother says. Are we calling her a liar and saying that she was not present at his birth, when she has said that she was? In time we’ll be able to sort that out too. I think the Obama’s underestimated the American people! We didn’t roll over and play dead after all. That’s why Michelle is so upset. In my personal opinion this is nothing but ‘putrified rot.’ To have these people to come in and run and ruin this, “The greatest nation in the world’, defies all logical reasoning as being Americans (?), to which they are not. They have taken advantage of the power and greed that manifests greatly in our government and all too happy in forcing the U.S. to follow in the Muslim way. What religion that says it is a peaceful religion which allows the stoning of a young girl to be stoned to death just because she won’t marry an older man whose marriage was set up by her relatives. Can you see a young girl being stoned to death, her head constantly being bashed by rocks, bleeding profusely and her screaming in pain and anguish and can’t stop it?? You want this kind of male gender religion to manifest itself in this country, because of this repugnent couple? We need to reinforce our solidity as American people to stand together as a whole, and oust this complete administration starting with these dispicable people and to end this nightmarish and fraudulent government to the quick. Also any organizations and persons who are parisitic to their cause should also be labeled treasonous.

    Interesting that she is supposed to have said this. It sure fits with the other things she has said about our country. Truth is…..it’s harder for us to have them as President and First Lady than it is for them to pretend to be proud Americans. I wish it were 2012…..it seems so far away! There will be nothing left of this country by the time they are finished. They don’t like us…and we don’t like them.

    Moochelle is a most ungrateful @itch. She flys all over the world, sets up tents of glass on the WH lawn for a party with trolley cars to deliver the guests to those tents. They party hearty on expensive food, numerous vacations in exclusive resorts and out of the country. She shops in Paris, dragging along Malaria and Sausage, and has the audacity to complain. I hope this is blasted all over the air waves and more people wake up to these posing frauds the idiot Progs elected to be the leader of the free world. He is not and never will be my president nor does he pretend to represent me. He and his wife are a disgrace to man kind.

      The interesting thing is knowing the time lag that happens between the actual writing of a book by the author, through the editing, proofing, and final print copy of a book, so presumably, a number of people “saw” the text before it was released and….nobody leaked it???!!! To me that says that it was either so “in character” with Michelle’s public reputation that no one raised an eyebrow, or it was just too “juicy” to edit out. Take your pick. My vote’s for character (or lack thereof).

      So while she was in Spain who was he having birthday sex with. He was in Chicago. It’s funny that no one asked that. Why did his wife go to Spain for his birthday, unplanned.       I am not going to pretend that her job is anything but exhausting and stressful. To be in the public eye the way she is and the criticism she takes has got to take a toll on a person. Lets not pretend that it’s all luxurious and exciting. I know the traveling alone would make me weary. I don’t think being a first lady is what everyone thinks it is. And as a person who is often offended and critical of the things she has said and done. I’m going to not criticize her on this. This isn’t for everyone. And apparently this isn’t for her. But at least she isn’t quitting. She’s doing her responsibilities regardless of the fact that she hates it and thinks it is hell. Kudos to her for that. Although I must admit it would be nice if she was a lot more backgroundish and not so much in the public eye. Her voice is starting to hurt not only my ears but my brain. Where’s the duct tape?

      Poor little Michelle, she hasn’t learned yet to keep her big trap shut. Remember her famous quote at pre-election time refering to her husband being a candidate for the Presidential office of the USA, quote,” For the first time in my life I’m proud to be an American”, unquote. What has America done or has not done to or for her to the extent she isn’t proud to be n American? Maybe she’d be prouder in Kenya or in Somalia with her Muslim friends or even in Chicago with her radical communist friends. If she hates the White House so much and it’s “hell” living in it, she can comfort herself with the thought that it’ll only be her official residence for a couple more years

      I think Michelle Obama dislikes burn because the latter is beautiful and talented …….it‘s beyond envy it’s a deep philosophical contempt for greatness.

      I actually believe she hates it. I am also sure she never really wanted a job where she had to show up every day and have her boss to answer to…the media. I wonder why her and the bam bam did not want to swing with the french prez? They can condemn them but force us to deal with his safe school czar teach our kids about gay sex????
