WASHINGTON (THe Blaze/AP) — On Tuesday night, we told you that Michelle Obama and “Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon turned the White House into a playground to promote the first lady’s “Let’s Move!” fitness campaign. Now, we have video and images to share.
Mrs. Obama and Fallon did pushups and twirled hula hoops. They competed at dodge ball and tug-of-war. And the first lady triumphed over the comedian in a climactic potato sack race.
After a defeated Fallon said, “It doesn’t matter if you won or lost,” the first lady replied, “It matters.”
The segment was taped last month and aired early Wednesday on NBC’s “Late Night” program.

Mrs. Obama has been making the talk-show rounds to celebrate the second anniversary of her campaign against childhood obesity. In the past few weeks she has appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,“ ”The Ellen DeGeneres Show“ and ”Rachael Ray.”
During her Leno appearance, she apparently convinced the host to eat his first apple since 1984.

Look if you want to be Americas fitness Guru then go out and make a workout video, get certified, open some gyms or aka Fitness Centers with your name all over them. Maybe that will stimulate the economy to boot. But don’t turn the White House into your personal gym to sell America on fitness. Americans have the choice to get in shape or not to. They have the likes of Jane Fonda, Arnold and many others leading the fitness challenge for a couple of decades now. Americans either want it or they don’t. Its up to them. Her pretending like shes the first one ever to speak to Americans about fitness is laughable. We are already a fitness crazed society and base almost everything about our self value on how good we look. Unless this is targeted at a select group that still has not got the message then maybe she has got a real program here.
