Middle School Sends Out Racy ‘Pajama Day’ Flyer Featuring Lingerie Model

Parents in Pittman, NJ got more than what they bargained for when they opened up an e-mail announcement about the local middle school’s “pajama day.” Right next to a cute, cartoon-like picture of a boy in a his pajamas was a giant picture showing a buxom Victoria’s Secret model in a bejeweled bra.
“God, are you kidding me?” on parent exclaimed to local Philadelphia station. Fox29. And that’s probably a common reaction.
But after some digging, Fox29 found the mix-up stems from a virus attached to the cuddly image:
From Myfoxphilly.com:
The Pitman Memorial Middle School principal says his hardworking secretary Googled the image of a child with the slippers and teddy bear for the flyer, and the picture of Lima was secretly tagged along, unbeknownst to her.
The owner of the picture used a hitchhiker virus, which was embedded in the innocent host image.
The school had no idea the image was there until the phone started ringing off the hook with outraged parents.
The principal immediately sent out a message apologizing to parents.
Websites add hitchhiker viruses to stop people from stealing their stuff. So, for the school, this is certainly a lesson learned.

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 12:45pmSorry folks, I don’t buy this at all.
I happen to be a network admin. Not once have I ever seen or heard of anything like this happening. Images don’t just suddenly appear out of nowhere, virus or not. Many websites will send images through email so they can verify an address when you open it, but I have never seen or heard of an invisible “rider image” that suddenly becomes visible after it has been sent.
The persons computer may have been infected with a virus, but in that case all of their emails would go out with the same thing attached. There’s more to this story.

Posted on February 8, 2012 at 12:48amYep. If there’s any truth to this at all, I suspect that maybe they hot linked the image in the email, then when the host discovered what they were doing after getting a bunch of direct links, they swapped the photo with the one that included the model.

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 12:20pmthis is what happens when your school district employees either steal peoples copy righted stuff or have not been trained to know that copy rights mean something. If indeed the school employee stole this cuddly image, the school could be subject to fines!

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 12:18pmMore firings are in order. If you tolerate this then it will grow into something perverse. By being “tolerant” you are basically holding the door open to all sorts of perversion. It won’t all come a knocking all at once, it will be a little here, a little there. That’s how the sickness works. That’s how the pervs get into the schools, the scouts, the church, etc, etc…. That‘s how the pervs become emboldened and that’s how your child gets abused. We need to adopt the Barney philosphy. “Nip It, Nip it, Nip It In The Bud”

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 12:17pmQuestion: Why are our schools wasting time putting on Pajama days instead of just teaching our kids? We never had pajama days, crazy hair days, crazy socks days and all of the other things that serve to distract kids from learning. I get the whole thing about making learning fun, bla, bla, bla, . Just do your jobs and teach the kids. They can have fun after school.

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 7:23pmYes, The virus was the school’s cover story for the horny secretary who posted the comments in the email, begging children to come to school dressed sexy so she could fulfill her fantasies about the children she sees everyday. Read between the lines people! Yes, this is what they teach our children. That’s why the rest of the world is now laughing at the USA. It’s also why so many go for higher learning schools in another country. Our schools can only teach our children how to hate God, hate capitalism, and hate our parents, but they do teach sex education very well and we “all” support planned parenthood abortion clinics, right?

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 11:41amAnyone wondering why a middle school is having something as stupid as “pajama day”? Grammar school? Sure. Middle, not. It’s just the kind of cutie thing that teachers think kids will like, when in reality the majority of them think it’s lame.
Oh, and I love how the principal coated over how his “hardworking” secretary lifted copyrighted material off a web page. You can bet if a student did that he’d be taking plagiarism classes for weeks.

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 11:51amIt’s public education… so it COULD have been a lot worse! It could have been 2 lingerie models making out, or 2 men kissing, or an Abercrombie & Fitch photo.
It fairly obvious American schools have nothing to do with educating our children to be intelligent, or even critical thinkers. Had some exchange students from Japan living next door last year. They laughed at our education system. The only ones who don’t think our education system is a joke… is a majority of Americans

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 12:01pmI spose I’m a tad synical on this. Like one post said “take God outta school–”. God has been taken out of society all together. This picture isn;t anything different that what the kids see on tv every day. So why are the parents shocked to see it in an e-mail? See my point? if they’re not shocked at what the kids see every day in their own homes, the stop the phony shock from what they see in an e-mail. Honestly

Posted on May 19, 2011 at 12:02pmSo, let’s work through the logic of this – there’s a site where the “hard-working” secretary improperly downloaded an image of a girl in PJ’s, but the owner of the site she downloaded the picture from employs a “hitchiker” virus to try and protect his images…by embedding an image that he improperly copied from Victoria’s Secret?
Why, oh why didn’t the “hard-working” secretary a) not steal an image from a random website (“for the children” isn’t really a defense in copyright cases), b) not proofread her email before sending it to all the parents.
PJ Day is a fine thing to do in school, done right it can be a lot of fun for the kids, esp. when they see their teachers in adult-size, cartoon footie PJs.
