Midnight Bombshell? Hackers Release ‘Damning Trove’ of Bank of America Emails

Business Insider writer Katya Wachtel:

Hacker group Anonymous (aka OperationLeaks on Twitter) just released what they say is a trove of damning documents on Bank of America.

You can find them here: bankofamericasuck.com

Remember, at this point, we can’t verify whether they are legitimate or not, but Gawker’s Adrien Chen, who has sources within Anonymous, suggest there’s something real to the leaks.

Anonymous says the emails deal with BofA’s mortgage practices, but the source is not an employee of Bank of America proper — the source is a former employee from Balboa Insurance, a firm which used to be owned by BofA.

The ex-Balboa employee tells Anonymous that what he/she sends will be enough to,

crack [BofA's] armor, and put a bad light on a $700 mil cash deal they need to pay back the government while ruining their already strained relationship with GMAC, one of their largest clients. Trust me… it’ll piss them off plenty.

Here is one of the emails:

This is a symptom of what we have done with our politics. We now have a few people in Congress who will stand for the right things. They got there via the tea parties…These people we elect need more company. Keep reading and educating yourselves about the people you elect to office and look at the voting records of candidates. . We will be taking out the trash for years to come. Banking is just one corrupt arena under the big top. We need more momentum.

With you 100% there. Cant give up and stay silent. We need to make sure we keep marching in numbers in every state including D.C. for bigger events. Our message is being drown out by corruption that the media loves and in fact needs to protect to keep thier rellevence. WE THE PEOPLE NEED our own television station on cable to defend the Republic give us news. Cant ignore us when America can tune in at any time and see whats going on in real time. If they cant edit the TRUTH..they cant hide. This kinda story is one of many that are not known and are being kept from the American people eyes.

What’s sad, is that folks will use this to throw ALL of banking and mortgage lending into the EVIL CESSPOOL category, without exception. There are many, ethical businesses/banks out there…find them, support them, let these criminals DIE OFF. That is how the market deals with this stuff…the government, would just regulate even MORE absurdities into the mix.

What is Anonymous’ agenda? Is it for truth and justice regardless of political affinity or regardless of religion?

Seems like their objective is to bring down capitalism or push for more government involvement.

The person who contacted one of the twitter names was someone who said he/she was targeted (fired) and they wanted to make BOA ‘pay’ – than Operation Leaks (twitter name) said for the US to release Manning OR else they would release these emails via their site. This is nothing to do with that with Assange has on BofA

I would like to see Obama be exposed for his part in all the cover up of BofA and CW – after all, they all knew of this before it happened. And Fannie/Freddie. But as someone else said, because it will affect them, the information will not happen. This is about bringing down capitalism – never mind that marxism and socialism do NOT work. There is nothing wrong with putting up your money to make money. That is the American dream, even if other countries do not like it. It is what brought the pilgrims to America – they wanted the chance to work hard and build up their fortune. They expected to profit from it.

Hand outs are for those that like socialism.

Sorry, but I’m not naieve enough to believe that mortgage pros at B of A would maintain high ethical standards in an environment where the government gave the green light to commission-hungry lenders while refusing to regulate mortgages. I would guess these emails are supposed to shock us. After all thats happened to the American housing market, I would only be shocked to see anyone who’s shocked.

It was, but that is the role of government and our laws. To protect the people from this sort of nonsense, not to be a party to the fraud that is the entire banking industry. One of the central reasons for escaping England was to be rid of the international banking interests and financiers that have been enslaving people for hundreds of years. Why do you think there were laws against usury? A priest in colonnial America defrocked himself and committed suicide for committing the sin of charging someone exorbitant interest of 2%. Larger than the slavery issue, larger than any other issue in US history is the battle against the monied interest. Is it any wonder that the last time the United States had 0 debt was under Andrew Jackson? You know why? Yes, he abolished the fed and got rid of all centralized banks. Guess who the last president was that tried to follow in Jackson’s footsteps? John F. Kennedy Jr. And his efforts were greeted with a bullet in the head.

We have all been enslaved, and what’s worse, is that the United States has begged for this itself.

Private Universities for higher education, Lawyers, Fraternities, and Sororities have been teaching and sharing how to cook the books, lying, cheating and stealing, from American’s since the creation of the Federal Reserve, with the end of the gold standard, Military Industrial Complex, Dot com.CON bubble, Enron, Author Anderson, Fannie and Freddie, AIG, just to name a few.
These CEO’S and upper management circles have spread thru-ought Wall Street and our government, infecting everything and everyone they come in contact with, in re-guards to banking, Wall street, government control, regulation and the federal reserve. Planning cons, scams, theft and corruption, no decision is made by one person, and no person is involved in any transaction involving more the $1 million without checks and balance due fraud for one’s personal gain. Therefor 10′s of thousands should be under investigation or arrested for the financial nightmare that has been dragging on for the last 20+ years and compounding since the Internet. They have used their stolen wealth to buy power and political favors on a scale never seen before. If we allow them to get away with it, it only gets worse.

The collapse of the dollar will be due to this fact… The true value of anything and everything is in question. Like every other republic that has collapsed due to loss of faith, freedom, liberty, and integrity freely shared with a fellow man. For tyranny will rise up in its place in the name of justice.

Personally, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with BofA, but it really wouldn’t surprise me. We know all of the major banks were involved in the securities scam.

I wouldn’t be quick to praise Anonymous though. They are a group of progressives and everything they do is in support of the progressive agenda. Even if they were conservatives I wouldn’t praise them though, they are criminals. There has recently been a flood of fake emails from BofA trying to get people’s account info. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are the same people.

We need some serious reforms. There is a threat by our economic makeup that will destroy this country. Below listed in order of importance:
    1. Usury: We can not be based on an usurious economic system
    2. A private corporation managing our economy…the Federal Reserve. This is the U.S. Treasury’s job.
    3. Paper currency. We need a currency backed by hard assets, gold, silver and maybe oil.

I just had dumb luck where I bought my last two houses for cash. I bought low and sold high because of the over valuation of houses (housing bubble). The house that I’m in now was recently devalued by the taxing authority, but it’s still valued at more than I paid for it.

Taxes were reduced because of the lower value, but my taxes were slightly higher because another tax element was added that wasn’t there before. I live in Round Rock, TX and I wonder WHY I’m paying taxes to benefit a community college in Austin, TX. Rick Perry, you need to correct that.

The banks sold “package Deals” to Lending Companies. People weren’t notified. These “LENDING COMPANIES” sent rivers of checks to home owners (all you have to do is to sign here..). People cashed these checks. POOF..HOUSE & PROPERTY FORECLOSED! What Banker is in the Obama Administration right now??? RESEARCH IT!!!!!

Really:? All of the folks I know who got foreclosed on couldn’t pay their mortgage. I agree that there was a lot of scam built into the whole scheme, but that was pushed by things like NINJA (No Income No Job No Assests) loans pushed by Fannie and Freddie via progressives. Either way, it’s all very convoluted and will be hard to unmesh.

What was the total dollar amount that was bailed out by taxpayers because of illegals defaulting on loans and then disappearing into thin air ?
