Miller, Palin Put Rumors of Rift to Rest

You may have heard about a leaked Todd Palin email addressed to Alaskan Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller released to the public earlier this week after Miller dodged a question from Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace about a hypothetical endorsement for a hypothetical Sarah Palin presidential run. According to the email, Miller wasn’t supportive enough of Palin — who endorsed his candidacy for Senate over now-Independent candidate Lisa Murkowski — and implied that endorsements are two-way streets.
On Wednesday, Todd issued a statement via The Weekly Standard to clarify his message and to dispel media reports of a rift between the Palins and Millers. According to Palin’s statement, he had misunderstood Miller‘s comments about Sarah’s possible candidacy:
My family has worked hard in supporting Joe Miller, so when I heard he’d said something less than supportive of my wife’s efforts, I responded. But it turns out we’d gotten our wires crossed and Joe hadn’t said anything like what I’d been told. So there’s no story here except the fact that the press put our personal emails online again, and again couldn’t even be bothered to conceal our email addresses or take any steps to protect our privacy.
In addition, Sarah took to her Twitter account to condemn the media’s speculation in the matter.
On Wednesday afternoon, Joe Miller appeared on “America Live” with Fox News‘ Megyn Kelly to discuss the close Alaska Senate race and to reiterate his position regarding a Palin endorsement and the former Alaska governor’s qualifications.
She’s done phenomenal things for this country, there’s no question about that. She’s elevated the debate critical to our race, and let me tell you also: we know what qualified means, don’t we?
We know that we have a constitutional requirement for somebody that’s gonna run for President. Of course, she’s qualified.

Posted on October 7, 2010 at 2:27amThe first and foremost duty of a president is to protect this country from any and all enemies that would seek to disrupt our ability to exercise our God given rights, those being: (1) Life, (2) Liberty and (3) The right to pursue Happiness. Not happiness given to us, forced on us and definitely not define happiness for US. Can Sara Palin do that, without the most competent advisers able to articulate the options for each situation arises, probably not. Can Obama make those decisions, I don’t know why we would think he could on his own any more than Sara. Do I think Sara is capable and would put together such a group and decide from their input the best way to protect our citizens and our intrests, yes. Do I think Obama has and will, no. He decides then calls in the experts and tells them what his decision is. What’s more of a hazard for US, someone we‘re being told isn’t smart enough to play any role in our political system or a person who believes he knows it all and surrounds himself with “yes” men.

What kind of Alaskan fool would vote for Murkowski when she wants Cap and Trade?

Report Post »poverty.sucks
Posted on October 6, 2010 at 10:06pmThis is news to debate.
Why should we retaine parties for whom we should vote? Obama insists a Democrat should be on the ticket so that black people know who to vote. A black person today is not so illiterate as our rednecks are not so illiterate. How wrong of Barack Hussein Obama Jr to think black people don’t know who to vote for.

Don’t we already have a thin skinned, egotistical empty suit in the whitehouse. WAKE UP AMERICA!!! Indeed first things first and try to undo some of the damage done by the sob and his entire corrupt organization if that can even be done. Worried about who said what and they didn’t say it the right way and the answer back was wrong and on and on!!!!! ???????????????

Posted on October 6, 2010 at 8:26pmIf they want to ask about candidates who aren’t even running yet, let’s talk about the more recent and interesting ones like John Bolton, or Donald Trump, or even Neil Cavuto! I for one am piecing together my own ficticious administration. I‘m pretty sure I’d like John Bolton for pres. probably Trump for veep, Sarah Palin for dept. of energy, Jan Brewer for sec. of state (would say ambassador to UN but I’m hoping we will kick them to the curb Jan. 21 2013). I was thinking of a Neil Cavuto, Stuart Varney, Charles Payne economic advisor triple threat. Let me know if anyone else has any ideas. : )

Posted on October 6, 2010 at 10:04pmObama-whatever, have you ever noticed how the lame stream media refuses to talk to Palin? Only FOX will give her a platform from which to speak. FOX and Twitter. If she had a chance to speak on Meet The Press or whatever other liberal show, she’d put them all to shame. And, of course, that’s why they are trying to prevent her from open debate with ******** like you on national TV.
Is she qualified to be POTUS? Well, duh.
